“Horrible company, they locked us into a contract when we told them we dont want it. Now they are asking for payment even when we stopped using their services.”

“They published our complaint for several months and we received an email from them advising that they have removed the review because of lack of evidence and could I supply copies of order forms and confirmations etc. of the service that I was complaining about in accordance with TrustPilot terms and conditions. Which I did. After several more weeks, I received another e-mail asking for additional evidence which I supplied yet again and in full compliance with their terms and conditions. They now have everything that I received from the company that I am complaining about. I have now received another email from TrustPilot advising that I have not sent them sufficient evidence to support my complaint and my complaint will be cancelled? The moral to this is don't bother. Your wasting your time.”

“terrible keeps removing genuine reviews for fun of it and can not explain why whats point in having site review if you dont allow genuine people review case for watchdog this is !”

“According to Trustpilot Guidelines no review may be written by a third party. I had reviews removed when I tried to write them for a relative who had received bad service from a company. However, I notice that third party reviews, when good, do appear and Trustpilot do not take into account their own guidelines. I have e mailed Trustpilot compliance team to ask about this but received no response. I have also tried contacting a member of the team direct but he too is ignoring me!”

“Tried to post a negative review about a company. It got denied for 3 times because of "according to our guidelines". If it was a positive review no questions were asked. The reality is TP gets paid by the companies that need a review on their website and is not interested in delivering a genuine review for the Internet community..”

“I left a honest and totally unbiased review on a company that had given very poor service and wasted a lot of my time and indeed its own assessor's time. The company complained to Trustpilot disagreeing and the review was instantly removed. I provided trust pilot with a copy of the information to 100% back up my review but it's still removed it. Also the same company has had mkst if not all negative comments removed on Trustpilot.I have now removed my account and reviews as I feel it is biased and reviews are not 100% genuine”

“I've twice tried to my positive review of my experience of purchasing a fire from CVO fires and Trustpilot have twice taken it down and sent nonsense and insulting emails as to why. They won't advise what they want to further verify me as a genuine customer. I've sent them my order number and a photo of my fire being fitted. The company CVO have also verified me to Trustpilot as a customer but their robot Compliance department simply 'do not compute'. Very, very frustrating customer experience.”

“It seems to be a theme on this thread there is a clear issue with the way Trustpilot functions. Honest reviews left by members of the public can be (and apparently frequently are) removed by the company they relate to. Seemingly with minimal justification for that removal. I have just found precisely this when leaving a review (and have gone to Google to review the company to find just shy of 20 others have done exactly the same!). For Trustpilot to be seen as trust-worthy it must empower users and customers to leave their honest feedback, of course let companies dispute or address negative reviews should they wish to, but do it openly. I'd say that over 50% of the reviews for the company i had just visited had been 'blanked out' in each case citing the review made negative or defamatory remarks! Clearly there is an issue with the company, yet your site rates them 8.2 out of 10!”

“I left an honest review for kids pass and you removed it as you did with all the negative reviews that company got. On your site they are a so called great company yet when you look on forums they have ripped off so many people. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED”

“had to jump through so many hoops to prove I had made purchase despite providing this info in order to have my review published. I just gave up as it was ridiculous given that I was asked to re-verify stuff I had already verified and there was no personal gain for doing it anyway. It is likely that many others would do the same so that only a hardcore of reviews end up staying which then does not reflect a true picture of customer experience. And then it defeats its purpose as a positive sales tool or name and shame list.”

“I posted a truthfull negative review about a company who did not give me what i paid for and took money from my bank account after cancelling service 3 times and they continued taking money and hey they did not like the review so you removed it for them great thats why company s get away with treating everyone badly.”
