i have found that any company any business you write a review with won't post it if you use bad language or names of people. i think it so unfair as people should be named and shamed if so wrong or upset public after all were one that put money in their pocket by buying and trading with them. it always ok for you to be scammed or treated in a bad way by staff in supermarkets shops etc but when you write about it on reviews not allowed to be truth ful. so why does every place every service ask for a review when can't be honest. The whole point of reviews is to let others know if you had bad experience who ever it may be so others know if to shop with them so on. Terrible if you can't be truthful.

Trust pilot removed my review of a company despite me providing the evidence they asked for. They ignore all of my emails and I'm seeing I'm not the only person they've done it to.

This entire service is a scam. They allow positive reviews without any verification however every single negative review is automatically removed and requires review (which will never be accepted). This is easy to check simply by looking at the fact that every service is almost 5* reviews and few to zero negative reviews. I've attempted to post reviews several times for services and every negative review has been removed. Every attempt to prove my purchase/experience has been ignored or rejected.

I am convinced trustpilot is a scam site, trustpilot just will not let me leave an honest negative review of a company they yanked us around on a purchase. They keep sending me emails critiquing my review with silly limitations on the reviews wording, Seems to me that they are focused on the comapany getting good reviews... Untrustpilot, distrustpilot.

i posted a bad review for Tastecard and WeOnlyPostGoodReviewsIfCompaniesPayUsPilot tried all sorts of tricks to take it down. In the end they said I had not used Tastecard in the last 12 months! Of course not.?its a bad review. This means they accept bias In their reviews by insisting the product being reviewed has to be used recently.

I had left a reviews for autodoc and it was removed, then replied with more information and a friend's bad experience with them to see that's been removed. I don't trust trustpilot any more

Very similar experience to others with TrustPilot. I had an awful experience with a company (MadisonSeating.com) and posted my experience. The company has done everything in its power to take my review down, from saying I wasn't a genuine customer to claiming that I made "defamatory" statements against them. Neither of which are true, and I proved it to TrustPilot. Interesting it takes the company less than a few days to get my review taken down, and it takes me 2 months to get it put back up, even after taking the "corrective actions" within days of being reported. Then it all started to make sense. If the company is paying TrustPilot, who is going to have the most influence? You the customer paying no money, or the company paying money? I'm starting to lose trust in TrustPilot. I will update this if anything different happens, but I'm not holding my breath.

The worst review website. Its high time that this gets pulled off from the internet. They are supporting business scams leading to huge losses for poor customers.

It seems any company can get a negative review removed, I reviewed productshop in January about their advert in Ebay advertising their beach umbrella being dispatched from Parranzabuloa in Cornwall GB when in fact it was dispatched from somewhere in Italy with a tracking number that didn't work till it arrived in the UK. My review was removed by Trust pilot after a complaint from the company, saying I didn't supply an order number. I notice I am not the only one to have their negative reviews removed, looks like you only want positive reviews, what a waste of my time. Check it out on Ebay for yourself it's still advertised there.

Trustpilot is a contradiction in terms, no trust whatsoever, absolute joke of a site, I wrote a bad review about a furniture company in Yorkshire and the review was instantly taken down by trustpilot because the vendor reported the review, I was not the only reviewer to have my review removed because this vendor complained, there’s about 20/30 reviews that are being looked into, the vendor obviously very questionable but is being supported by trustpilot simply because they pay a premium whereas I don’t, I will not be posting reviews on mis-trustpilot ever again as they simply only work for the highest bidder and have no interest in telling the truth... absolutely disgusted!

they remove bad reviews. likely charge the company you are reviewing. I wrote a bad review for bankmobile and they remove it, emailing me for "evidence" which i sent in the form of an ATT wireless bill. they still did not put my review up even with evidence. DO NOT TRUST TRUST PILOT

Nothing but paid reviews, and the companies can remove reviews they do not like.

They systematically delete bad reviews. Even if you send them a proof of purchase they won't accept on the basis of some ludicrous excuses (like saying the purchase was made way too long ago). They censored my negative review about Wish.com, which is another scam company. Protecting each other, don't ya?

They take down reviews that their mates don't like. They only allow good reviews or else it will be questioned. Cannot trust Trustpilot. Their reviews are as meaningless as eBay feedback.

They allow companies like Hermes, Music Magpie, SCS, Royal Mail and themselves to employ bot farms and stooges to post fake positive reviews around the clock. Not only is it highly unlikely they have that many customers, it isn’t likely they’d all have such positive experiences that they’d leave blurbs at ridiculous hours. They take down reviews of yours that aren’t libellous, threatening or disingenuous - not making it clear as to why - and don’t get back to you when you say it’s a misunderstanding. They got back to me very quickly when I mentioned about a French fashion firm getting unfair schtick, so they can‘t use that excuse that they’re busy. Not only are there bot farms on claimed sites of firms who can’t act on bad publicity, the courier Hermes have an unfair number of alternative sites to divert people’s spleen. And like I’ve said: the fashion brand was the first search result on there until I rectified it, yet they’re still getting criticism for parcels not being delivered properly because they don’t make it clear for people. I mentioned everything in this review on their review and that Antipodean woman just gets you to go round in circles. Your reviews are taken down? Contact compliance about it. You’ve contacted compliance about it? Visit our web page to see why your review’s been taken down: which involves contacting the elusive compliance again! And a lot of clowns get past their algorithm or are apparently never flagged by anyone and they post gibberish, foul language, threats or assumed identities. So unfair. An elderly person will see on of their ratings in a newspaper or on the side of a bus and assume it’s alright. Stay well clear of it and use platforms like this that aren’t likely to be as malleable.
