Absolutely disgusting and illegal behaviour from the Owner and Turo CS. Returned the car 2 HOURS EARLY, perfectly following the instructions, refuelled to the brim, no damage, and they charge me $160 and claim I returned it 3 HOURS LATE!!! 35 minutes on the phone having someone in the Philipines ARGUING with me and asking for me to prove that I did the right thing?! That's not how it works guys!

A guest damaged my vehicle and Turo did not press in for the guest to fix it since the guest declined Turo's insurance at the time booking my vehicle. Instead, Turo was asking me for a document to prove the damaged part was OEM. As a result, I'm on the hook for $1,100 to repair my vehicle as the host. Ensure to read the fine prints carefully before hosting your vehicle on Turo.

We rented a car through Turo, and the vehicle we picked up was not in the condition shown in the pictures. Within just 2 miles of driving, the front driver’s side tire blew out in the middle of the highway, putting our lives at serious risk. We returned the car immediately and refused a replacement, as it was clear the company does not prioritize user safety and allows renters to commit fraud by misrepresenting their vehicles. After two weeks of emailing back and forth, explicitly stating that Turo was not authorized to charge our card for a claim based on this fraudulent rental, they still charged us $570 for a flat tire. Avoid Turo at all costs, and do not provide them with your payment information. We are fighting this charge and will continue until it is reversed, but this is our warning: do not do business with Turo.

Car details and description states toll pass included. Then I get a $27.01 charge for tolls. Why does it state that it's included when it really isn't!?

picked up a car and it had heavy oversteering issues. I lost 4 hours picking another car - Turo charged me for the first car and refused to compensate me for my 4 lost hours.

Very disappointed in Turo Claims. They will ignore you will not pay you and will drag a claim for over six months and will respond once a month. Horrible service and I’m still not able to get a hold of my adjuster and his supervisor

When there are no issues, everything is fine. However when an issue arises, Turo customer service is extremely inconsistent. They make promises they can’t keep. The agents you speak with don’t seem to be completely in tune to what you previously reported to them. In my situation the host charged an invalid parking fee. Turo deemed the fee invalid, but the host kept messaging me about it and was extremely disrespectful. They had no way to block the host. They said I just had to keep clicking the dispute button on the invalid charges he was sending me and they had no way to stop them from coming. They said the host would be taken down and investigated but he never was. He stayed on the platform, messaging me about a fee I needed to pay because he “couldn’t pick up the car until the next day” (the day after I dropped the car off). The host parking policy clearly states hosts are not allowed to charge fees they pay for picking up their vehicle. Turo told me I wouldn’t be charged for parking again so when I asked him what this fee was for he asked, “Are you always like this?” and other rude things. The host told me Turo was telling him the opposite of what they were telling me which led to an extremely stressful situation. I honestly believe that based on the empty promises they told me. Finally they deleted my review on the host’s page which was very thoughtfully and professionally written, falsely stating that it was written with retaliation of “post trip fees.” They previously told me my review was valid and not eligible to be deleted (see screenshots). The parking fee didn’t even apply to that category of fees. I asked them to investigate his page because he never disclosed the parking fees in his main car description like the policies state, but no changes were ever made. I firmly believe they keep bad hosts up to profit off of them, despite valid complaints. I reported them to the BBB, not sure it will get anywhere. Please, for your own sanity, avoid at all costs. It is worth renting with an established rental car company even if it is a bit more expensive, though it may not even be.

I’ve had an incredibly disappointing experience with Turo’s damage claim process, and unfortunately, there is still no resolution in sight. After my vehicle sustained over $6,000 in damage during a rental, I’ve faced significant delays and unresponsiveness from both Turo and their insurance facilitator. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue, only two areas of damage are being considered, while much of the damage remains ignored. To make matters worse, the insurance facilitator has been extremely rude and disrespectful to the repair shop owner. This unprofessional behavior led the shop to refuse further collaboration with the facilitator, leaving me stuck with an unresolved claim and a damaged vehicle. As a disabled veteran, this has been an especially frustrating and stressful experience. I expected much better communication, professionalism, and support from Turo, but unfortunately, I have yet to see any progress toward resolving the issue. At this point, I would not recommend Turo based on how they’ve handled my claim. It's been a challenging and disheartening ordeal with no resolution in sight.

Scam company, can list car but won’t let you rent one and won’t tell you why! Stick with Enterprise! Cheaper and more reliable

Rented a truck for work. everything went well. Assumed i could rent a truck again for work but Turo decided to quietly revoke my rental privileges without even letting me know. I run my own business and this put me in a huge bind as I had a full week of work and had no idea they revoked my rental eligibility. If you are depending on Turo while on a strict schedule be very careful.

This the worst experience ever. I will never book with you guys ever again. First I had to pay $155 a day for rental I barely knew how to work. Then, I called to asked for another day and later time to return the car I had to pay an additional 155. I was also told I wouldn’t be charged for a late fee; yet, they charge my card an additional $145. The host also lied and said that I smoked in his car which I never did. I was charged an additional 166 which they told me came out of deposit. Also, I was charged an additional 30 of which they said came out of deposited, yet, they also charged my card with an additional 30. Please never book with Turo. Altogether, I ended up spending almost a 1000, on fees that appeared out of no wear. When I tried to disputed they told me the lady never said, I wouldn’t be charged late fees and also the pictures that were provided as evidence for smoking was pictures of dirt. On top of that, the car was dirty when I got it. NEVER BOOK WITH TURO. Or the host IGOR!

If you’re a Turo host or guest, DO NOT allow a guest named Vidisha S. (VS 2) to rent your car. She will stalk and harass you and Turo will do nothing about it.

Turo is not a good service. They allow host to scam, especially around the Texas area. A host was visibly scamming in the messages for the cancellation fee and they see nothing wrong, and did nothing to the host. Beware, use more notable platforms.

I had multiple issues with the car. I was told to return it and I would receive a full refund. Instead I was refunded $221 instead of $862. I had the car for 10 days with multiple issues and customer service led me astray. I will never use them again or recommend them.

Turo has terrible customer service. They only have a book of issues anything outside of that, they don’t know what to do. My car rental got cancelled 3 times. I called to speak to a supervisor to figure out a solution but the agent told me there is no option for him to transfer the call to the supervisor because he didn’t have a drop down menu of my issue that he can use to transfer the call. When you hear things like that, you just sit there and wonder when will common sense prevail. Just to top things up it was my 1st time trying to rent from Turo. Safe to say it will be my last
