Stone cold food delivered then blocked us from calling

Not transparent about items tacked onto the check AFTER I sent in order. No way to add tip for driver. A bunch of "click around" before being able to cancel order through robot "chat" receiving auto message that cancellation fee on original 30 dollar order is 32.97 (they changed it to 45.97 after I hit the order button with no breakdown of where the extra $$ we're going, I'm sure they weren't going to the driver). I could go on... I thought perhaps I got mixed up in a scam website by mistake. I could go on but glad I got it refunded, removed my credit card, (you guessed it disneyland when you try to close your account), never using them again. Scammy. Petty. Greedy. Shameless Grifters.

Ordered food 50min later food arrives because uber eats had trouble locating a driver. Also driver rang my doorbell when I’ve given INSTRUCTIONS NOT TO!!!!, Anyway I never accepted the food and told driver to go away. Uber wouldn’t even apologise, won’t be expecting a refund. And this is not the 1st time they’ve done this. Customer service is rubbish Just eats is cheaper

I ordered food over an hour before. It was dropped by the first delivery driver, we asked asked the second delivery driver where he was going because he appeared to be travelling away from mcdonalds location. Then he dropped it. Then we had a uber rider pick up our order. We asked if it was cold and he said "yes" we kindly asked him to return it if it was and he replied "no" followed by two smiley faces ... this is not appropriate to have someone think it's amusing that we have spent money on food, for it to be over an hour waiting and be cold...I've very upset, not just by the fact we are missing food we ordered but the response by your employees. Disrespectful.

Once again my food arrived within 50min of ordering but cold because the driver had another drop off before mine. I don’t like eating cold food and Uber has no interest in giving me a refund as I never accepted the food from the driver. Very frustrating and POOR service

1 hour and 39 minutes to get my food. It was never picked up and could not cancel my order…. I will never use Ubereats again. Not the first time…

They cancelled both my orders so I chatted on Uber eats to figure out why. They said they are having issues. Went to bed woke in the morning with Uber eats food there sitting overnight. I chatted on their help line 6 times and they are unwilling to help me. It was their own rep that said it wasn't coming. Now they refuse to give a refund.

This service in Anchorage sucks. I've placed numerous orders at least an hour before the restaurant closed and they never got delivered. The estimated time just kept getting pushed back surely but surely. Finally after 10pm the app shuts down and just says "services unavailable" and won't update you on status or even let you cancel the order Honestly, money back isn't even satisfactory after this happens twice or 3 times. Doordash doesn't have this issue, I'm not sure why Uber sucks so much but avoid this service at all costs!

I cancelled a order that was set for tomorrow. The order status was reset to « order now ». Within 2 minutes I cancelled my order. Order showed as cancelled YET i was charged a cancellation fee of 12$ and the order was also charged 112$ but it was never shipped

I’m so upset that I even had to give them one star in order to leave a review. I am a merchant partner and I have not been paid out since partnering with Uber Eats over 2 months ago. The horrible customer service, the countless emails, and huge wait times is ridiculous. Any new business looking to partner with them should really reconsider. I don’t even know what else to do at this point.

tried to order a pizza to my friends house where I was at and as I tried to put the order through the app for some reason reverted back to my home address. I canceled the order immediately and redid it to where I was at and then I find out that Uber wants to charge me twice saying that the merchant started making my food but that's impossible it was one seconds, and not to mention I didn't cancel the order. I only canceled to change the address, so I again redid the order, same food to the same merchant so if they had started making my food, it would be great because they were delivering it to me, but for some reason Uber is trying to rob me and make me pay twice so I need to dispute it with my credit card and I'm going to review them all over and write to the Better Business Bureau. The customer service is absolutely horrifying.! I could honestly understand if I canceled, and the company really did lose out but considering I canceled and immediately did the same exact food to the same place they didn’t lose out anything at all. It was just trying to rob me and it’s terrible because I was a premium member who ordered all the time and they lost me over keeping $35. That seems very mental to me.

Uber eats is very inconvenient. I would suggest you go to the store directly. Had 2 incidents consecutively. I ordered a meal and paid with my card, a few minutes later the order was canceled because of missing items from the store, refund will happen 3-10 working days, if this was my last money I wouldn't have anything to eat. Second incident, driver accepted to pick up, and he never showed for more than 3 hours, the shops number goes to voicemail. Didn't get my meal, and it was too late for me to go get something from any other store. This is just ridiculous

I ordered groceries with them November, they mischarged, and I spoke with one of representee, she said, they will refund my money within 3 to 4 business days, but I still didn't get it. Also, the customer service is terrible and it's really hard to reach.

I'm learning to hate the service Uber Eats provides. It starts from the beginning of the experience. As you are considering where to order from Uber Eats tells you a window of time that this particular restaurant can fill your order. Every time i have placed an order the delivery window comes back as longer than advertised. I have never appreciated a "bait and switch" but if I'm hungry and the additional time isn't completely aggravating wont cancel my order. Tonight started with these familiar annoyances...and then got worse! Ten minutes after placing my order I get an announcement on the app, "Oops there has been a problem." No other details and the latest delivery time has gone from 10 minutes longer than advertised to 37 minutes longer than advertised when I ordered. I tried to get through to a human via the app on my phone. That process is needlessly annoying and did nothing to encourage me to be calm as I waited for 15 additional minutes after the app said I was being connected to a customer service rep! Why is it that Uber Eats doesn't seem to understand that if a customer is angry enough to contact customer service it is in the company's best interest not to create an experience that adds to the customer's sense of being poorly served. The customer service rep on the app stopped responding after a few questions leaving me without answers, satisfaction or enough time remaining to cancel my order. So food arrived 57 minutes after ordering instead of 20 and what was delivered came in damaged packaging and ice cold...which would have been fine if I'd ordered ice cream but I'd ordered a hot meal. I don't know who will read this review but if you are anything like me you see no reason to be charged for the privilege of being told substandard and ineffectual delivery service is worth the expense because it allows you to order something other than pizza or Chinese food. Uber Eats, if you are listening or reading, the service you currently provide is not at all worth the fees you charge and if it were possible to launch legal action over your bait and switch tactics at the time of ordering I would be very happy to meet your lawyers in court. As it is I must be satisfied with writing this review and then copying it to every online forum I can find.

Ordering with h a gift card was a complete failure! On my laptop, the system would not connect to the $25 gift card. I have an older phone that has no space, so no more apps. I couldn't even find a chat window on the website to ask why the system didn't see my gift card. I had to have a friend log into the app from her mobile device just to place my order. That went through just fine. Uber Eats customer service is atrocious! No one ever bothered to respond to my inquiry as to what was wrong. It looks like the delivery driver is awesome and right on time, which is the only reason I gave 2 stars. This was my first time using Uber Eats and I venture a guess, my last.

Uber eats has the worst customer service ever!!!!! They are not helpful if there is an issue with your order. You have to wait 24 to 48 hours before you can get an email about your order. I definitely will not be ordering from this app again

The worst experience ever. They charged 50 dollars for no food and no refund. They have such bad customer service. My food costs 30$ and they charged 50$ and i did not receive any food. When I called the customer service. They said sorry for what happened and try to contact your bank and reject it. Shame on you, big company that is not able to satisfy their customer and stealing their money and sending them to blame a bank. Shame on you UBEREATS. Worst experience ever.
