I gave them a 2 because I did get my refund. But, the service and customer service is horrible. I came here to encourage everyone that when you have issues with companies like UberEats and are owed a refund, but the company refuses. Please file a complaint with the BBB and your state Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs. Many people don't do reviews on companies. If they do, they don't file complaints with these places. These companies should be held accountable for how they treat their customers. And, no amount of money owed to you should be lost due to their being inept and uncaring to their customers. Every time I file a complaint that was obviously the companies fault, I get my money back or credit. There was only 1 time I didn't and it was because it was partially my fault so I closed the case. These companies do not like getting these kind of complaints from the BBB or Attorney General's office. It doesn't take that long to do. The form on the BBB site is really quick to complete. You just have to be willing to do it. The more it's done, the more likely companies will want to fix issues and addresses problems in their operations. So, I encourage more people to do it. I fight for my money. It's not just the point of the money. It that companies shouldn't be allowed to get away with treating their customers this way.

I love in Loveland Colorado but every time I order food the app orders good all the way from ft Collins. So food always takes forever, arrives cold, or melted... I hate Uber eats app! And Not because of any of the drivers. They rock!

Good Until It’s Not — Frequent Delivery Users, Beware Uber Eats can be great at first—especially for new users. Customer service tends to be responsive and helpful when you’re new, and the app offers discounts and promotions that make it worth trying. But over time—especially if you use the app frequently for deliveries—things go downhill. In my experience (and many of my friends’), delivery issues happen often, with missing food being the biggest problem. Drivers sometimes say they delivered your order when they clearly didn’t, or they give up trying to find the address and just disappear. I’d say 80% of my problems came from drivers, not restaurants. And once you’ve had “too many” issues—even if they’re legitimate—Uber may restrict your ability to get refunds or credits altogether, which is incredibly frustrating when the problem isn’t your fault. Customer support also gets worse. Responses feel copy-pasted, and even though you’re talking to a real person, they rarely address your specific concern. If your issue doesn’t match their script, they just paste a generic reply and close the chat. Also, something seems fishy about the App Store rating. It shows 4.8 stars with over 9 million reviews, but when you scroll through, there are dozens of 5-star reviews with titles like “Horrible,” “Don’t Trust,” and “Uber Eats Thieves.” That doesn’t seem honest and can mislead new users. If you’re paying for a membership, it’s even more disappointing when support completely drops off. There needs to be a better system for evaluating refund requests based on actual proof—not just some internal threshold. Try it if you’re new, maybe for the free trial and discounts. But if you plan to use it regularly for delivery, just know you might be left with no help when things go wrong.

I hate how they make it nearly impossible to really confront an issue. My Eats delivery never arrived and I couldn’t get back to the order to call the driver or anything they just simply offer a refund. I need to know where my food was taken and proof of delivery and who ever is responsible needs to be penalized. Don’t allow thieves and dishonest people to deliver for you. Seriously vet these people before sending them out. Second time this has happened to me.

Lately orders are taken/stolen by the delivery person/account HOLDERS , when items are missing Uber refuse to believe the customer and DO NOT REFUND the amount nor get any replacement We have UBER ONE and cannot get the same level of customer service we used to Sometimes we rely on Uber and the online offers are appealing, seems slowly people will stop using this service and go to the stores directly

Since I am single, it is cheaper to order in than to cook. So I order UberEats almost every day and have spent over $20k in 4 to 5 years. Yet, now they are doing some ridiculous thing were you cannot reach a customer service person by the phone. So if you have an issue with an order, there is nothing you can do. In addition, today I ordered and received the wrong items. I called the restaurant and they offered me a refund but said I had to contact Uber Eats. Uber Eats then falsely claimed that the mistake did not warrant a refund!! Why is UberEats now overriding offered refunds??

Customer service refused to compensate for missing items. The food quality n this specific order was in the toilet. They didn’t care. Sauces which are normally packaged separately were smooshed into the meal.

Had multiple curriers cancel on my order, contacted customer service and it eventually got resolved but only after talking to two different customer service reps. 0/10 stars for Asiphe. 10/10 for Yolanda.

Today I ordered pizza thinking I was going to spend $17.00 plus tax. I purposely did not add any extra toppings, but still I was charged $35.00! There is no way to find which Pizza Hut it came from. There was No sticker seal over the lid. It didn't look like it had been touched though, but that is not good. And to make matters even worse the delivery guy placed the pizza on the floor in front of the door!

Don't get me wrong. Uber does their best to provide good service, and their drivers in general are great. Their app, however, is just busted. Don't ever order their BOGO's. Every time I have ordered a BOGO or a discount Buy X get Y type deal from them, the program has left out items, even though it is displaying the items at check out. Quite simply, they are not honoring their agreement, and you should only trust that you'll get the item you clicked, and nothing more, if there is a deal attached to it. You do not get two for one deals. You don't get the discounts. After three months, I'm feed up. I'm unsure I'll continue ordering, but for sure don't trust any bargains that they are offering on the app. The program doesn't know how to handle it.

Order Jimmy John’s online they apparently use Uber to deliver the delivery driver went into a completely different Jimmy John’s. Then to the Jimmy John’s that I ordered from took way too long. Customer service is horrible. There’s no options to communicate with customer service except for to call in. They don’t resolve issues correctly

The delivery driver called my place of employment crying and said I was rude. I explained I usually collect my food in the foyer this was the only words ex changed. The delivery person has since left a full page negative review on my company's website I have witnesses who have stated they observed no rudeness. Only the change of food and a code. I hope the young delivery driver is ok!

Well I'm still waiting on dinner which keeps on getting delayed! At this rate it might be breakfast! First there was a delivery before which held it up. Called restaurant they said she just left...then another notice from uber, there's another delivery before mine so it's later again!

Hi I am an driver for Uber eats and yes it's hard to actually speak to someone in customer service. I only been driving for Uber for about 2weeks now which I have noticed inconsistency with the time vs pay. Not to mention lets say I just received a incoming order to be picked up at IMOS PIZZA, once I have confirmed pickup then instead of sending me to the customer drop off location it sends me to another store to pickup a different customer order. So frustrating, cause I don't if it's a single order or group order but will not know until you confirmed the 1st order. I'm trying to be grateful and thankful.

Today Uber Eats gave me an opportunity to learn my lesson - “Never ever deal with this company! “ I was charged more than $10 for delivery of $15 pizza, my order was delivered after 80 minutes ( instead of agreed 30 minutes), and of course, pizza was cold affecting the taste. This is a very unprofessional way to run the business and treat the customers.

Impossible to get in touch with a living person by phone. Website says you can pay cash on delivery. Try to order that way couldn’t. Finally found a phone number and the woman didn’t speak English. She kept babbling never answered my question.
