i PAID THE EXTRA FEE FOR PRIORITY. FROM THE TIME THE DRIVER PICKED UP MY ORDER AND I RECEIVED IT, WAS A DECENT DELIVERY TIME FRAME. UNFORTUNATELY MY FOOD WAS COLD. APPARENTLY THE RESTAURANT HAD MY FOOD SITTING AROUND FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG. UNFORTUNATELY I WILL NOT TAKE ANY MORE CHANCES ON ORDER WITH UBER EATS AGAIN.

I ordered a $13 plate of Hawaiian food, deliver was $1.50. I added a $3 tip. My total for food delivery was $27. Where did the extra go to? Uber Eats! The food was cool to touch, because she delivered to someone else first. Why am I paying them extra for food that isn't even warm? I'm sorely disappointed!! I won't use this service again. She came almost an hour after ordering.

The service was relatively good until recently. Then food orders were delivered occasionally with the contents flipped to the side, spilling out sauces. However, last week a driver dropped part of my order in the yard, spilling the contents. He picked it all up and told me he'd take it with him to throw away and that I could get a refund. The company refused to refund for the food that was destroyed because I wouldn't submit a photo. I couldn't because the driver cleaned the mess up. Doordash, here I come.

Poor Customer Service at Uber I had a just started a promotion for free Uber One for 4 months to get free delivery. Then at the same time they had promotions going on for a month for buy on get one free on some items at some restuarants, and then they had a few: spend $25 save 40% up to the first $15. So, I was looking forward to buying a lot for a few months to try it out. I placed an order at Harold's Chicken Shack, and there was a delivery charge of $5.50. Any delivery over $5 is not free with Uber one. Then I saw that there was another location of Harold's Chicken Shack, and this had free delivery, I think, it didn't say if there was a charge for delivery. I had just placed the order and I thought I could cancel and reorder from the other location. I tried to find where to cancel and I clicked on a link that led to a chat with a robot. A lot of text was spewed so fast I couldn't read, then I clicked on Cancel Order, then it said I was just charged $18.50. I didn't know there was a big fine for cancelling an order, I didn't see the message, and I was rushing to cancel before the resturaunt started the order. I clicked that the problem was not resolved, and then waited for a "human" agent for ten minutes. The agent was responding by just clicking on prewritten messages saying he refused to give a refund. I said I would go to my bank and block this charge, and write negative reviews, and I was cancelling my membership. He said he had offered the best possible solution. I said "paying $18 for nothing is the best possible solution?" That didn't make sense and he was gone. Then I clicked on Problem not Resolved again and got another agent and re-explained the situation. He made many of the same prewritten comments, saying the problem was on my end. Then he conferred with his staff. He offered me $1o in Uber Cash. I said that's no good because I'm cancelling. Finally after twenty minutes of complaining he gave me the refund. My getting the refund was random chance, it doesn't mean they are nice, they could have gone either way. They think my $18 belongs to them because I clicked by accident. If they had just clicked "refund" from the beginning I would still be a member. Now I know never to try to cancel an order once placed, I've learned that lesson, but it's too late because I am done with Uber for good. They ruined my shopping experience. I would never order from Uber Eats again because there are other delivery companies. You might think you are supporting workers by ordering from them, until those workers are replaced by machines, and the customer service can also be replaced by machines, because they don't need humans to click on prewritten messages.

My food was cold. I tried to reheat but it had been sitting around too long. Nothing like a cold and soft chimichanga. The nachos (beef fajita) also cold. I complained and the chat lady said there wasn't anything she could do. Well maybe if they didn't deli er 6 or 7 before me. Unreal company. I think I'll order and pick it up myself.

I placed an order. I confirmed with the driver my apartment number. He never delivered my food. Customer service refunded the money. I should receive it in 3-5 business days. However, they can't refund the tip. Because they already refunded my money, I can no longer make a rating on the driver or reduce the tip. In my eyes that is a thief! I will use Door Dash from now on.

Nothing like paying $19.55 for fries and wings and have them show up cold. I tried to notify Uber Eats but was only able to choose from lists to let them know there was an issue with the temperature. That was it. Case closed. Yeah, I'll walk somewhere to lunch from here on out, every time. I was so excited to get the meal, I'm diappointed now.

They charge full price for food that has weekend specials. I thought well I'm getting a promo with free delivery, okay it makes up for the over charge. I included tip in the total charge, and then they charged me again the next day for the tip again. I'm never using this service again, I'll just drive myself.

They really have a problem with getting food delivered in a reasonable time and in good condition. The first time I ordered, my order was passed off to FIVE different drivers before it got to me; cold and inedible. The second time I waited an hour for my driver to deliver other orders before she got to me. Again, food delivered late and stone cold. Uber can do better than this.

I am delivery diver for Uber Eats and it is tough to get orders worth taking, the map is lit up busy, most of the orders sent my way are a few bucks with a long distance to travel to and not even in the "busy" zone. I get texted from Uber "log on we're busy" then I get nothing to delivery. A lot of homes don't have their house numbers on them, delivering to neighborhood that have no street parking. Customers give wrong info on how and where to deliver then knock my satisfaction rating down and reduce the tip I get when it was their fault. Trying to pick up food at busy restaurants' during lunch and dinner is difficult do to parking issues. I like to pick up one order at at time and delivery that food hot to the customer. A friend of mine who uses this delivery service doesn't like it when they receive notification the delivery diver has to pick up another order before they receive theirs , they so dislike since it means the food will arrive cold. Orders on my phone> some appear so I have to read it, so pop up go away so fast I can't even read it. the orders are not clear on the maps provided and the drive times are not correct & I should know I have lived in my town for 46 years. I get see orders that say 20 mins total, so not right, there is a lot of traffic that is not taken into consideration. I have googled some I declined to see the real drive time, uber days 15 mins google maps says 45 mins.

You waited til my order was 2 hrs late then you canceled so it was too late for me to reorder so I had to go without dinner and was not compensated only reimbursed which is not the same.

Well, I ordered a half gallon of watermelon lemonade for $10.00. But I got a half gallon sweet tea at the same price. What is far worse is I can not figure out how to upload the picture and receipt. THE worst app ever now they have my 10 and I have something I do not want.

Uber Eats seems to have no problem promising to return your money for food deliveries that are not correct or as ordered. But, I have never received the actual return of the money to my credit card after they say it was returned to you. . Then they tell you that it's been refunded but the issue is with your credit card company or bank, which everybody else who refunded me, there was no problem. Questionable integrity and work ethic to show you made a return in the Uber Eats app, but you never get that return back. I'm done with using them too.

I normally like to cook or pickup my own food at restaurants, but been extra busy the past few months, and have used UberEats a handful of times. The first couple of times I ordered Indian food and got very timely delivery, but the past two times I've received delayed deliveries, the first an Outback steak and baked potato order, and tonight a Smoky Bones rib dinner with baked potato. In both cases the meat was barely warm, and the potatoes essentially room temp. I'm not pleased with this, especially at the pricepoint I paid, and don't expect to use this service anymore. (food in both cases had terrific taste, no complaints about the restaurants)

It’s Saturday evening. I order food from a local restaurant using Uber Eats and 30 minutes later my phone rings. The caller ID says Uber Eats and I I’m thinking “awesome… foods here!”. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The agents on the phone says the delivery rider’s bike broke down and they won’t be able to deliver my food but, “good news”, they aren’t going to charge me. Why the F* would that be good news? You’re not supposed to charge unfulfilled services. This is a common occurrence with Uber Eats in San Francisco that’s becoming tiring. Fix yourself Uber!

Had an item missing from my order and a wrong burger from McDonald's. Spoke to driver via the app, he said I need to contact the app, I did and they just processed a refund but I want the items I ordered, not a refund! No option via the app to retrieve the items I ordered. Spoke to McDonalds direct who couldn't help as ordered through uber eats so been left with not what I ordered! Very poor service!

This review is 4 the Uber eats APP, not the restaurants that use Uber Eats. I used to get coupons for Uber eats sent to my email and I would get a $20-$30 off coupon once a month and I used it every month. As soon as I signed up for Uber one those coupons stopped and suddenly I’m only saving like $5 dollars with Uber One, Which by the way I just canceled because I’m paying $10 a month to have Uber One, only save $5 (Actually it’s $4 and change, not even a full $5 dollars) & when I wasn’t an Uber one member, I was saving $20-30 off of my orders so never again will I become a Uber one member. They scam you into thinking you’re saving money with Uber One when in actuality you’re paying more money than u were b4! Also every single time I have ordered Uber eats I never ever get any dipping sauces for my kids chicken nuggets, not one single time has there ever been a dipping sauce & It Doesn’t matter what restaurant I order from there’s never any dipping sauces. I’ve even asked the Uber driver to make sure that there’s dipping sauce And again there was no dipping sauce because the Uber driver said he didn’t see it until after he already left. I don’t understand why there isn’t a special instruction spot where you could tell these people “hey can you give me a side of tartar sauce or can you make sure that there’s barbecue sauce in the bag”. I’m sure every single living human being that uses this app will agree with me that there needs to be a spot where you could write special instructions and if one doesn’t show up soon I’m going to discontinue using Uber eats all together and use DoorDash. Period!
