Ubereats site is confusing and difficult to use. I used the group feature so my husband could order from his own phone. He sent his order over. I'd made my order, but when he sent his, mine seemed to disappear. "Add your order," it said. So I hit tapped the screen and it took me back to the main screen. I placed my order again. Then it showed that I'd ordered it twice. I deleted the items I didn't want. It all looked correct. So I paid for it all, though it did seem like it cost more than it should. When the order came, it turned out that it didn't delete the second order, even though it said it did. I am willing to admit to some operator error (should have investigated why it cost more). But this shouldn't be this confusing. Yeah. I'll try DoorDash next time.

Delivery has been perfect each time I have ordered....the food from three different restaurants was terrible. The last order was a lobster roll..... lobster tasted like it was from an aquarium ....from last year.... before that I ordered a coal fired pizza.. sounds good but was horrible.....do restaurants reserve the terrible food for UberEATS??

I cancel and order.. uber gave my money back and charge a secind time for the food.. why you gave mi money back and charge it again.. for pastelitos chip or for uber.. anyway the Takeshi my money ..after i cancel for wrong address

Unreliable. Cancels orders two hours after being placed and only sends an email to let you know. Delivers someone else's order and your only choice is a refund days later.

My food arrived completely cold (took over 40 minutes to get to me) and wrong. At first I thought I should not be upset at the wrong order (because Arby's packed it) but the person delivering should double check that the order is correct before getting it to the person. I will not be using them again.

I’ve been a customer for 2 years ordering approximately 3-4 times per week, lately the service fee and delivery fee has increased dramatically each time I’ve ordered but have noticed the deliverers are doubling up orders and taking twice as long to deliver so wondering why the increased fee?? If it doesn’t change soon I will be transferring to Door Dash, no fee over $15 which is how it should be as some meals cost over $50

Not happy with having to pay over price on items plus your extra fees plus my monthly and tips just to get long wait times and wrong orders and then having to fight with you after paying you everything to have to reorder and rewait all over. Literally 3 hours to get the right order. Also your overseas service sucks badly..

I was automatically signed up for a $9.99 subscription without knowing it. After, I googled it I was able to turn it off but no idea what will trigger it to be turned back on. No luck getting a refund, after they asked me 20 times for my credit card info but it went through PayPal using my checking account, which they could not wrap their heads around. They did refund my money promptly when the drivers delivered to the wrong address which is great but also leaves you with no food 40 minutes later. Not every experience was bad but the subscription and not being able to get a refund sucks. Also, if you delete the Uber eats app ( trying to ensure they don’t charge me 10 bucks a month for an app that I rarely use because something $8 will be $22 already!) you automatically delete regular Uber so I guess I have to use Lyft or whatever from now on. Terrible business strategy, just awful.

Because it was taking a long time for my delivery, 1 hour, and still no courier. I cancelled my order and was still charged a fee. If you don’t have couriers in the area, that should not be on the customer. You are charging me for something I did not receive.

My experience wasn't as awful as some of my fellow reviewers, but I have to say... that price. Ouch. Thank god for stimulus packages. Uber eats can take the whole thing on a dang hamburger. They did keep me updated to a higher degree than doordash. So there's that.

I love the idea of third party delivery, but I consistently have problems. I would say about 1 in 4 orders I make have some kind of issue, often to do with there not being a driver to deliver my food. I currently have an order I’m waiting on. When I placed the order, it said delivery times were 35-40 mins, but it’s been an hour and 20 minutes since I placed the order. It says that my driver is making another stop before she drops off my food, but I can’t see the car icon on the tracker so I can’t be sure if she’s actually on the way. Idk why I keep trying to order when this keeps happening :(

Last 3 deliveries were not picked up until well after they were ready and arrived cold. Rating system on the app only allows for very few issues to be rated. I have not been able to figure out where the issue lies as the updates are no longer there or not accurate.

I ordered IHOP Breakfast for my wife and I. Not only did I wait 2 hours but The delivery driver calls me saying "someone picked up my order and that he'll bring me my next order" thought all was fine. NOPE. I got a notification saying my order was canceled and to choose another option. I was not charged but they took my AMEX Credit which rolls over each month and given Uber Cash that expires this month. Essentially I was told "Sorry we made a mistake you weren't charged but your time is gone" They resolved NOTHING. Not the first time this happens with them.

I have ordered Ubereats a few times, in my delivery settings I have ring boor bell please when you leave my food outside. Never do the drivers ring my doorbell and I always get the notification that my food is at my door late, if I am paying an extra $8+ dollars to use the service my food should never be so cold that it's uneatable. Our last order was so cold we could not eat it....the drivers need a lot of work and they need to knock or ring a damn door bell.

The delivery drivers have been great, very friendly. However they promised me a refund of just $4.51 which I never received and its been weeks but according to their records they refunded me so they refuse to make it right. I told them I will be going back to Door Dash after my 30 free pass expires and they didnt care if they lost me as a customer over this eben though ive been ordering twice a week. Door dash would have given me credit for my order immediately and with Dash pass i only have to spend $12 instead of $15 with uber to get free delivery.

Horrible customer service. I ordered food from a local restaurant. It was never delivered to my door but I was notified that it had been delivered. I called the delivery lady and she said that she probably left it at the wrong door. She told me to walk up and down my block and look for it. I said, "I'm not doing that." So, she hung up on me. I complained and got a refund for most of my money, not all of it. I tried to email them to tell them about the details but never found a way to contact them. This is totally unacceptable. I am looking for other options and I will conclude that the $3 that they kept is the cost of a lesson learned.

the delivery person was an older lady. She had instruction to knock, leave the food at the door and the tip would be under the mat in a certain spot. She made such a commotion outside our building it let us known she was there. She wearing her mask under her chin and didn't knock. The food was cold when we finally got it.

I loved this app at first. It was so convenient, and especially for someone like me who is unable to drive. However, I have had bad experiences with this app one too many times now, the latest of which has seriously put me off. Last night, I put in an order at 6:30pm and was given a delivery ETA of 7:15pm. Anyway, just before 7:15pm rolled around, I was told there would be delays--that's fine; no problem. The delays became longer and longer. At 7:30pm--one hour after I placed the order and 15 minutes late of the original ETA--my order was cancelled. You can probably understand why this made me angry. Firstly, I didn't even know that UberEats had the right to cancel orders. This seems like extremely poor customer service to me and shouldn't be allowed. Secondly, I wasn't even angry about the fact that the order was cancelled, so much as the fact that it was cancelled 15 minutes AFTER the ETA and ONE HOUR after I placed the order. This is extremely short notice and completely unacceptable. I am someone who gets very low blood sugar and I really would have appreciated the notice so that I could have made alternate food arrangements. This is the equivalent of walking into a restaurant, placing an order, waiting for an hour, and then being told that you won't be getting food after all. No-one would want to return to that restaurant ever again after an experience like that. Knowing that UberEats have the right to cancel your orders at any time, I am not going to be using this app if I can avoid it. I may use it in 'emergencies' (e.g. if I am unable to leave the house) but I will be getting my partner (who does drive) to pick up our food orders whenever possible from now on. Very disappointed, especially for an app that I initially loved so much. I always tipped my drivers at least 10 per cent. I was hoping for the same sort of courtesy in return, but I guess actually doing the job they're paid to do is too much to ask.
