I ordered over $110 in product from Ulta with a total of 6 products. A padded envelope arrived with one of the six products. When I contacted the company through email and by phone, they refused to make the situation right saying they could see that a package had been delivered. I contacted the BBB to file a complaint and realized they have a ONE STAR rating with them as well. Even with the BBB contacting them to help resolve this issue of the missing product, Ulta refused to talk with me live or make an effort to resolve the issue.

Salon services are horrendous not qualified to groom a dog . Rebecca the “Master” when someone is called a master .. you would think it’s because of training time in chair .. not al Ulta “Master Stylist is determined by sales .. upselling services products that is how a master is established in UlTa . Her services were SubPar and her hair knowledge is severely lacking I went to the Ulta on Bell Surprise location . To be honest from the services I seen being preformed ALL the stylist need further education ..

I purchase 2 items via online and chose the store pick up. Went to the store on 7/12/2024 around 8pm. I followed their instructions as "In Store Pickup 1. Go to the pickup area near checkout. 2. Show the barcode below to get your beauty goodies." When I showed the bar code to the cashier, she said "What's your last name?" which I gave my last name to her. She grabbed the item then said, "What's your order number? " At this point I was getting irritated because the bar code was to make this transaction easier for the customer. I had to find the order number and gave it to her. Then now she asked me to show her my ID! I couldn't believe how ridiculous her customer service was not to mention she inconvenienced the customer. I asked her what's the point of the bar code if I had to go through all these, she got a nerve to say, "oh because it's easier for me." What?! Get the f out of here!!!! Go find another job besides the customer service!!! If I was her boss, I will fire her!!!!!!

If I could give zero I would I placed an order for the Instant Vacation Browning Lotion SPF30 Body Sunscreen and got sent bare minerals tinted moisturizer!!!! They clearly don’t pay attention to the orders. When I called customer service they wouldn’t help me so I asked to speak to a supervisor and they hung up on me!!!!! They have the worst customer service ever!!!!!! They refused to ship me the item overnight since it was their screwup as I’m going on vacation!!!!!

If I could give a half star, I would. This salon is not meant for natural black customers. The paired me with a black female that already knew they did not have the type of product that was needed for my hair. I told the young lady I have an interview in the morning and instead of her saying it may be in your best interest to go to….She washed, conditioned and put some other stuff on my hair, but didn’t define my curls, didn’t try to mousse it with roller rods for the style I asked for, told me finger waves won’t work on my hair, and unfortunately, I am the person who believed her. Told a friend of mine and she sent me a you tube video of someone with hair like mine with finger waves…. So, basically the Ulta styles just didn’t have the knowledge and/or experience…. Lesson learned on my end.

Michelle A. At Ulta beauty in Livingston has no customer service experience. I scheduled a hair appt with her for 3 and I got stuck in a little bit of traffic and I called 20 minutes before my appt to inform them that the gps said I was going to arrive at 3:15. I arrived at 3:15 on the dot and she had already left the building. Didn't even inform me that she was canceling my appt. Would not recommend!!

Would perfer to give them NO Stars. BAD, bad company. Entice consumer to order on line with a "Free Gift" then blame consumer for not receiving gift. The shipping boxes are also grossly over sized to the point of stupid. No free gift: Never doing business with them again. Consumer BEWARE.

I will give zero star if I can. I placed an order on line and use Apple Pay to pay for the order. However, after the first charged, the online order still won’t let me to complete the order as the “place order” button was still In transparent. I thought the charge didn’t go through so I made another charge. However, nothing happened! A at the same time, I got notified from Apple Pay that I got charged twice already. I called Ulta’s service line and the representative said she can’t do anything. I requested to speak to her supervisor and the supervisor said nothing they can do to complete the order. I don’t understand how they can’t do anything. Just complete the order manually and make sure the customer is happy! If there’s problem on the website and can’t charge the customer, that’s fine. But I got charged twice and you told me that you cannot complete the order! That’s totally unacceptable! Never going back to Ulta Beauty!

Just purchased approximately $80.00 of Redken hair products in Petaluma, California - Ulta. The store has advertisement all over the store and shelves - to receive free gift - a Spray Smooth Anti-Frizz with Heat Protection 2.1oz with any $30.00 purchase. When I asked for the free gift she said only while supplies last and they were out. So I asked hmmm when did you guys hang the promotional signs and she replied this morning. So I said, "Oh so you are already out?" She says, "Well we should get our shipment in Tuesday. So I told her, then take the signs down. This is so FALSE ADVERTISING. This is about the 4th time this has happened to me. This should be a class-action law suit for False Advertising.

I placed an order yesterday for same day delivery, today. Ulta changed it to tomorrow instead. I’m going out of town for the week and no one will be here. Ulta refuses to cancel the order. They will refund the delivery fee, but I get to pay for a package that will not still be on my porch after a week. Shop Sephora or target instead. Seriously.

I got Alexa I don’t know if her dog died that morning or watt she refused to cut my hair. I had a picture and she said that she would not do it. She was rude. She has no manners and then she just stood there and watched me you could see the reviews for Alta, they’re not great. Alta is the last one that anybody goes to was the last one for me I’ll never go there again.

Applying for credit at checkout is a joke. They just don't want to give anyone the 20%off when you apply at checkout stating "they need more information." I just bought $112k Escalade, own 3 homes, own out right free and clear Harley Davidson, and an 807 credit score, but " they need more information." Ummm...plenty of other places to shop, and I will! I will NOT set foot in their stores, will not order online, and WILL post this review.

I received a promo email stating if I spend $50 I would get a free gift. I usually just go into the store but thought I would do this offer. I ordered 4 items, received 2 and didn't receive the free gift. I notified them immediately. Was told they will not send me the free gift but I would get my 2 missing items. Here it is a month later and I have not received my missing items nor a refund. I will not be ordering online anymore.

I went to ultra in Palmdale, n the employees keep following me around asking me if I need help, i said no, i ask a manager why are you’re employee’s keep following me? What’s the problem? She said oh they do that to everyone, well it makes me feel a certain way.

I paid way too much money for the beautician to not do what I wanted. She did what she wanted. I sat there for five hours only to come out with orange hair instead of frosty blonde. I paid way too much money and every time I look in the mirror I want to cry now.

I went to my account and tried to placed an order probably a month ago, keep in mind I have always do online ordering due to me living far away from an actual store, well I couldn't, tried to explain the representative on the phone that that was really odd since I have at least 30 orders delivered to my adrees on the past, well long story short I couldn't placed my order,and just came back to check on my dollars rewards to be expired!! When do they start with that!!!?? I will promise I won't be buying anything else from ulta, bad service and the rewards now expired, awful.

I previously reviewed this card, but it got even worse. After i paid the late fees i was illegally charged on a paid off and closed card, i asked the CSA to assure me that i would never be charged another thing or hear from Ulta ever again. She said i wouldn't. I came back from a trip and i had a letter from Ulta that had charged me $2 in integer and a late fee on top of it. I've never had a worse experience with a company or a card in my life. It's exploitation, there's no other word for it.
