“I just visited Alta on Military drive in San Antonio Texas started , with no greeting I noticed two women came in behind me greeted oh yeah I'm African-American everybody came in and got a greet and did you need some help except for me a young lady by the name of Catherine came to my aide as I was about to exit because I felt slighted thank you so much Catherine for your assistance and your kind words they meant a lot thank you for the excellent customer service”

“I had a horrible experience at Ulta! I went in to get a haircut and dye my hair. When Jenna put the dye on my hair and two minutes later my scalp started burning. I let Jenna know and she just handed me a comb. After 30 minutes later Jenna washed my hair and it was burnt. It smelled burnt. It took me months to get a refund. They advise me instead of getting the refund to get a gift card and purchase stuff from their store to fix my hair but in the end they knew they were wrong and I ended up getting my refund.”

“I ordered an ULTA GIFT CARD for my Granddaughter's birthday. She still doesn't have it and I ordered it, as a gift to be mailed to Her house. I ordered on 02/22/25. Still nothing. I contacted Dominic P. and spoke with Rebecca today and she issued a refund. That's all fine and good but this doesn't help my sad Granddaughter. Now, if the card was to ever show up it's going to invalid and a huge disappointment to my Granddaughter. BUYERS BEWARE. I found out by calling the ULTA/CASH STAR number today that there's a FEDEX option. This is the only way to track and hopefully ensure delivery. I didn't see that option when purchasing the card.”

“Bait and switch for the buy 1 and get 40% off of 2nd item. Gave the 40% off of inexpensive items even though had 2 of each and full price for the 2 more expensive items. Very deceitful. I will never purchase another item for ULTA again. There’s nothing they have that I can’t purchase elsewhere and rest assured I will purchase it elsewhere from now on.”

“I placed an order online and every time I checked the status it was waiting to be shipped. Of course they took my money. I tried chatting with them and they stated I had wait 8 days. Next time I will order their products through amazon. I'll get it right away and if not, they will at least make good on it.”

“If I could I would give a zero for the Ulta store located in Hickory. When I ask about a National sale for Black History month I was told that it was only offered for certain products and that it was unfortunately only for Associates when I knew it was a lie because my daughter works at Ulta in a different location and all customers there received the discount deal that was promoted for celebrating Black History Month. But I’m not surprised to not be told the truth.”

“I loved getting my hair updo by Ashley and my makeup by Breana Cross before going to my first Mardi Gras Ball yesterday evening. My hair and makeup has never looked so beautiful in my life. If you need someone to make you more beautiful for any event I recommend Breana Cross. I am sorry I didn’t get Ashley’s last name but he did an awesome job.”

“The associates do not abide by their own return policy as stated in their website. I can’t shop in a place like this. FYI you can get 99 percent of this stuff cheaper in Walmart and target.”

“I went to the Happy Valley location yesterday. The store was clean and organized. After mulling around trying to figure out a brand and shade for my complexion, Shari approached me. Shari was kind and listened to all of my concerns. Her recommendations were amazing and she saved me time tryng to select the right products. Top-notch employee! Also, I met Bryn who was patient, geat attitude, and assisted me with my points. Happy customer due to these two employees!!!!”

“I had a haircut with Claritza almost two weeks ago and my hair was totally butchered.This after showing 3 different pictures and neither one was what I received. Sadly I am the one suffering with this horrendous chop job. The manager was kind enough to compensate me, but that doesn't help me with my current situation. I now have to have this mess taken care of with another hairstylist. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Buying products is one thing. Salon is another story. Bad beyond words.”

“Sheila in the Ulta Beauty Salon in Foley is absolutely wonderful. Her experience and knowledge along with her talent makes it so enjoyable while getting the perfect cut and color. I would highly recommend. Absolutely love her!!!!”

“I think I been going to ultra for over a year or 2 years. That is when I met katelyn stark and elaina williams. I really liked them both because they did great job doing my hair. Plus they both are a cool friend. I enjoy going there and they take pictures of me and my cool hair do.”

“I bought Urban decay at Ulta and absolutely love it. I bought a gloss which is not sticky. But the the on I love best is OG Backtalk. It stays in place pretty well. I wear a mask at work and it stays on so I’m impressed!”

“I got a great cut at the Tyrone location in St. Petersburg, Fl. Emi did a great job listening to exactly what I wanted giving me amazing shape and less bulk. My hair is difficult to cut because it is curly with different curl patterns throughout and I have a lot of hair. Prior to Emi I had a stylist at Ulta who insisted on the "curly hair cut", which is more money than a regular cut and left my hair frizzy with uneven pieces all over. I almost didn't go again, but I know now to ask for Emi. She has awesome skills and knows a lot about cutting curly hair.”
