“I was very disappointed that a magazine that I purchased on subscription as a gift for Christmas, came through my door at the start of December in a clear plastic wrapper , with my young daughters name written across it. She picked it up and immediately thought it was for her to open and gave. Her Christmas surprise gift was spoiled due to what I consider thoughtlessness. If something is purchased as a gift, surely you would make the effort to hide what the gift was in some way? I am incredibly disappointed with Unique Magazines as a result of this. I won’t be using them again.”
Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry for the disappointment that has been caused. There was nothing on your order stating it was a Christmas Gift. We do have an option to purchase subscriptions to begin after Christmas. Then the order would not start till January. The next issue has been posted today. However, I have wrapped it in a grey plastic bag so your daughter will not be able to see what is inside and you can put it away until Christmas. It looks like a lovely issue, I'm sure your daughter will love it. For the inconvenience you have had I have extended your subscription by 1 issue. Therefore there are still 11 issues remaining on your subscription. All issues sent after Christmas will be sent in a clear bag. Our customers tell us their children love seeing their comics arrive in the post addressed to themselves. I hope you have no further issues with your subscription. This is why it was not posted until yesterday. This is at the publishers request. Your magazine is sent directly from the publisher. “Having ordered a magazine subscription of Teen Breathe for my grand daughter's birthday I was very disappointed to see with the order confirmation message that this would take at least 6 weeks to arrive. If this had been made clear at the point of ordering I would have chosen another company. My grandson whose birthday is the same month received his magazine within 3 days, ordered from another company. I am not a happy Unique Magazine customer.”
Thank you for your feedback. This magazine comes direct from the publisher, this is how it can take up to 6 weeks for the first issue to arrive, due to their printing streams. If it misses the current issue they start with the next. However, when you got your confirmation you could have called us straight away and we could have helped you and resolved this. We dispatch a lot of magazines in house. Where the subscriptions would begin immediately if the current issue is in stock. A lot of our customers are surprised at how quickly their subscriptions do begin. I am sorry you have not had a very good experience. However, we could have helped if you if you had of gotten in touch with us. I am in the process of finding out the start date of this subscription for you from the publisher. I can confirm your magazine is dispatched directly from the publisher. They will send you an email advising you of the start date. It can take up to 6 weeks for the first issue. However as you've ordered a quarterly magazine, this may be different. If you don't receive an email from the publisher please let me know and I can chase this up. Enjoy your magazine, kind regards
