“rating is based on postage - I opted to have the item I purchased sent to a nearby store. One week later I am still none the wiser when it will show. The fact that I was charged £5 for the postage does not make me any happier. £5 can get you next day deliver, so get your act together USC!”

“If I could give no stars I would! Absolutely dreadful Customer Service - really unhelpful! I was sent the incorrect item which was no fault of my own. When I asked them to send out the correct item as it was for a gift they told me that the wrong item would have to be collected by courier and returned before I could get the right item I ordered. When I asked if I would have to take a day off work to wait in for the courier I was told yes! Couldn't return it to a shop either. Eventually agreed (after many emails and a phone call) that I could post it back (at my own cost) - they refunded the postage by cheque! Really is it the 1980s! When I asked for the correct item back they told me that all the info on the web was wrong and what I actually ordered they didn't have anyway - when I have seen the item in their shops! Was offered nothing in any way of a 'sorry' it's all our fault. DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM ONLINE.”

“ordered a Hugo Boss t shirt last week and collected it from sportsdirect as requested. But after I collected it I opened the package and it wasn't what I ordered. It was a black hugo boss t shirt but the logo on the chest was a white rectangle with logo in black writing which I think cheapens the top. I was instructed to go to the USC store in East kilbride where I was told that they didn't keep Hugo Boss but the guy who was helpful he thinks maybe it is the wrong image on website. He called your store in Braehead he carefully described the top we were looking for and they confirmed they had it he actually described it twice and he was assured that they did indeed have the top set aside for us. So we then left East Kilbride to travel over to Braehead and when we got there it was the same as the one as I wrongly received. I'm not really one for complaining but as you can see by my previous email that I really needed this for Saturday night for my wife's birthday party and all the running about when I was already short on time has left a bit of a bitter taste as this was my first order with yourselves.”

“Ordered a SILVER Armani baby changing bag for over £100 when it got delivered it is definitely not that colour it is beige. Tried to phone or email USC and no contact details available. Not happy”
