“Goods arrived seemingly thrown into the mail bag, clothes not folded or in garment bags, screwed up, covered in creases, zips undone, hairs on one of the items etc. Clearly the items had been returned by another customer and not even checked or folded before being shipped out to the next customer. I expected a higher standard from USC, disappointing.”

“Although the ordering and despatch service was good with no issues it is disappointing that postage is not pre paid for any returns. This can result in a significant expense incurred by the recipient depending on the size of the package. I struggle to understand this in view of the fact other companies provide a pre paid return service or a pre agreed return fee. Taking into account the nature of items ordered and the probability of needing to return some or all. My recent experience has involved ordering boots so the cost to return was very high. In view of this to remove the risk I will no longer order from USC.”

“It’s shocking that the delivery charge was £4.99 on an order over £70 but then to have to pay return postage for items which are odd sizes is disgraceful! Get yourselves a Hermes account and offer your customers free delivery options!!”

“I ordered express delivery which is what i got but the shoes are not true to picture the colour is much lighter they are meant to have a distressed look but just look dirty. It will cost me to return them and then delivery for a different pair as they were a present. For that total amount I may as well have ordered full price from the shop and had more choice Thought I was getting a deal but the shoes are really not nice.”

“Whilst a refund was offered for the missing sunglasses case, similar products for the same brand were still available. I feel that the easy option was taken rather than completing my order in full. As this was a birthday gift a full product was preferred.”

“Received text to say parcel had been delivered and signed for by me, but I was at the other end of the country. One neighbour went to my house to search but found nothing. The next day another neighbour found the delivery note blowing around in the road and located the parcel behind a bin. On our return there was an answerphone message which was indecipherable. Thank goodness for good neighbours.”

“Everything was great but I was billed twice because you have a bad rating with my bank and they stopped the first payment... but it was ordered twice and once I got the confirmation email straight away there was no way to cancel. I sent an email but by the time I got a response they had already been dispatched. I was told there was nothing I could do. Not a good first impression. Now I have 4 pairs when I wanted 2.”

“postage costs not in line with other companies! Can’t even pick up from store for free! Also having paid for next day delivery was unable to to add to my order when something was cancelled at the last minute despite contacting them immediately so would have he to pay for more postage!”
