Bought a Rapid Power Revive from a leading high street store. Cleaner was ok but hose attachment stopped working after one use. It’s almost impossible to get through on the Customer ‘Care’ line but eventually spoke to someone. After a few checks he admitted it was broken and sent me new attachments in the post. This didn’t fix the problem and Vax said they would send me a replacement machine on receipt of old one- it’s not the easiest item to post. New arrived and the screws to attach the handle of the cleaner to the body are missing. Once again I can’t get through on customer care line, online chat tells me I’m in position #22 to get my query answered so I’ve emailed them. In summary, the machine isn’t great and customer care is totally useless. A waste of £150. Avoid

I’m very disappointed with my cordless as you only get about ten minutes run time from the battery, certainly not enough to do one room let alone the whole house, would not recommend.

Purchased my vacuum cleaner ( blade3 ) 6 months ago . The roller brush has stopped working. I have done everything I am supposed to do to fix it but to no avail. I have left so many messages and sent emails leaving my details and still no one has got back to me . A £180 this vacuum cost me , and £40 to replace the roller brush . Vax I am not impressed

I have a hand held vax cleaner, never used, because it just would not charge. Contacted Vax customer service, refusing to accept any responsibility. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER VAX PRODUCT EVER AGAIN, AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Have had a vax in the past and wasn’t really impressed. However on recommendation I purchased the cordless Vax Blade 3 for £179 and to be honest, for the 3 months I have had it, I have been happy with it until today when the battery has become defective (3 months, gets used once per week to do only the upstairs, not even the stairs). Am so disappointed, have ordered a new battery which has cost me £70 and when this goes, I will never buy a vax again. Should have stuck to dyson, 5 years and still going ( downstairs Hoover and does stairs too).

Battery would not charge after approximately 18 months- contacted Vax and have been given the “run “around” treatment, asking for serial numbers, then saying that they were not recognised, sending photographs and then hitting a brick wall. I am seriously contemplating going to the small claims court as the product is patently not fit for purpose.

I have had a Vax steam mop for just over a year and it's stopped working. Advised to buy a new filter which I did, still didn't fix the problem. Now after speaking to their customer service team I was advised to go buy a new one!!!

Pet Vax Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner Bought Vax Vacuum - this is the 2nd one, 1st broke just after a year. Only had for 4 months - it's been up and down in terms of suction. Now it is not sucking up anything - nightmare as I have 2 cats. Got in touch with Vax - after many emails not being answered, it took them 2 weeks to collect and get an engineer to look at it - to be told that there is nothing wrong with the motor, they have sent me a video with the engineer testing the motor when it's taken apart but not actually testing the vacuum as a whole and actually using it like a vacuum - AS IT IS SUPPOSE TO FUNCTION!! I now have a vacuum that still does NOT WORK! I BOUGHT THIS TO CLEAN MY FLOOR - THE PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK. The whole process with them has been painful e.g. Someone doesn't answer your email that THEY have ASKED you to write to them - going through the same name, email confirmation story 5 times over the telephone - to then been sent back a product in the same state - not sucking anything up!!! it has taken so much of my time up - Really it's not my problem that their product that is 4 months old does not work - and have not offered a solution either. I could not have done more in terms of maintaining and cleaning it. Do not buy this product - do not buy from Vax - They are an unhelpful nightmare.

I have tried to SPEAK to someone at VAX before using my latest new carpet shampoo machine. I just want a simple answer to a simple question on the telephone, but that is nigh impossible. The direct customer helpline just has a strange engaged tone, the chat service doesn't understand my question, and the head office number takes you from one menu to the next and then thanks you for your call!! This is atrocious customer service, regardless of the fact that at the start of a call, that we informed all calls are recorded, to improve customer service!! RUBBISH!!

Bought Vax platinum power max and after 6 or 7 uses acrid smoke from motor. It’s under warranty but you have to box up and may pay for shipping and repair if they deem it’s your fault. Not worth it I have totally lost confidence in the product. Not fit for purpose in my opinion.

I have a vacum/shampoo carpet cleaner. It needs a replacement solution hose which cannot be bought. I have a steam grime master which the lid to fill the water tank cannot be removed. The customer service is atrocious and do not care one bit about their customers. This has got to be one of the biggest scams on the planet. They are a disgrace. I do not understand how they can get away with it.

The vax glide is not fit for purpose and at £250 it should be. After about five uses it started leaving dirty water on the floor and was not drying as it should. After several emails to and fro Vax decided it needed a new filter. It works without the filter which is what I shall do until I use up the extortionately priced detergent and dispose of the machine.

Vax Platinum up in smoke. Bought a Vax Platinum carpet cleaner. On the 2nd use, smoke came out of the main body. Contacted customer services, as the unit has a 6 year warranty. But told, as I had not registered in time (first 3 months) I don't have this Warranty. As I was 4 months over the first year, they refused to help in any way. Very disappointed. I now have a big piece of plastic used only twice!

Airlift model 7 months old. Bought in Argos with extra cover. Smelt of burning. Argos won't replace if less than 12 months old. Asked to return to vax. Item came back to me from vax 'nothing wrong with it' then it blew up, sparked and turned off house power. Vax again sending label but lost in post. Plus find your own box to return in. Ask the supermarket for a box big enough for a vacuum I was told. Haven't vacuumed house for 2 weeks already 🤮 very unhappy!!!

I bought a Vax Blade 2 max in December 2019. At £199 it was not cheap. After 16 months of very light use (2 bedroom carpets vacuumed once a week and all hair etc removed from the brush after every use) it has broken! A lot of noise and a burning smell came from the floorhead, then lots of tiny ball bearings fell out of it. On opening it up it is clearly engineered very poorly, so poorly in fact that I would suggest it is designed to fail prematurely. So I contact Vax to claim on my 3 year warranty, only to be told that “functional parts that suffer premature failure after 12 months are not covered” but I can buy a new head for just £24.99. Needless to say I will never in my life buy another Vax product and its back to Dyson for me.

Rang about Vax blade 2 40v told that the warranty only covered the motor so the failing battery , faulty motor suction brush and broken dust door were out of warranty after 16 months. Very unhelpful and disappointing

I bought a cordless vax vacuum a bit less than a year ago. It still has power when on, but as soon as I turn it off, all the dust comes back down on the floor! I spoke to customer service, they looked at it and sent it back saying it is sucking fine, which is not the point really, as described above. I wrote to them again to explain, they are just ignoring me now. Not worth the money at all, and poor customer service.
