“have been trying to contact anyone at vax on line and by telephone for 3 days now every time i am on phone it cuts me off after 30 mins tried to chat. this is a replacement for another vax model used 3 times and motor started to smoke. Now comes the good bit spoke with an agent for vax explained that the machine was smoking when turned on was told to wait she came back and said that the machine was out of warranty i said i only got machine on 06/03/2021 and that's not a year was then told warranty was started with the first one i bought in August 2020 so that means a new machine that only lasted 9 months. She then advised go back to Argos what a joke.”
“Obviously these machines are not built to last! Bought mine in November 20 so, just over a year old. I was persuaded to buy this VAX 4 blade due to the three year guarantee. However, the powered brush floor head which no longer works consistently is considered a 'part' and only covered by a one year guarantee (which is not made clear on their advertising jargon). Now the battery fails to re-charge. This machine is only used for light vacuuming tasks - I used a mains-powered Dyson for the main cleaning tasks. Very poor standards of customer service and clearly a machine which is not fit for purpose!”
“Pretty long winded but I purchased a vax rapid carpet washer about the end of November last year and it was great . However just before the year was up it started leaking badly . I contacted vax who requested proof of purchase . As it was over a year since then I had to contact very where I bought it from and they were very helpful ,sending me my proof of purchase within 5 days . I forwarded this to vax on 3rd December . I received reply 2 days later saying they would send me a returns label and asked me to return the vax in the original box if possible . Like I kept the box for a year . While waiting for the returns label we unscrewed the bottom ,found the faulty part and purchased replacement on e Bay as the part wasn't on the vax website . Part arrived put in place cleaner works fine . Advised vax and asked if they would reimburse cost of part . They replied that they had no record of me buying the part to which I said that's because you don't sell them so I bought it from eBay . No response after 2 weeks so I e mailed again saying I was disappointed not to get a reply . I then got a reply saying sorry you have not received a returns label I will send another . I said I don't want to return it because I fixed it . I just want to know if you will pay for the part . Reply received after 5 days 4 of which were bank Holidays . Sorry we can't reimburse you because you didn't buy the part from us . Complete waste of money time . P.s. the part cost £14.99. Would have cost more to have it sent back to them ,repaired and then returned to me”
“BUYERS BEWARE: CHECK THAT VAX SENDS YOU THE CORRECT ITEM. VERY POOR SERVICE! I would urge all buyers to check what they receive from Vax. I purchased what I thought was a Vax 4 earlier this year, but was sent a Vax 3 instead. Because the models look the same, I did not notice I had received the wrong item. I had to sell the Vax after a few months as I had moved to a larger flat and needed a bigger vacuum cleaner. When I sold the Vax on Ebay, I had a very unhappy buyer contact me because it was the wrong Vax model. I contacted Vax customer support. Although Vax acknowledged that they had made the mistake, they refused to refund me in any way because I had not reported the issue within 30 days. As a result of their error, I had to give my buyer a deep discount to make up for the fact that the model was inferior. BUYERS BEWARE - CHECK WHAT VAX SENDS YOU. POOR SERVICE!”

“Avoid at all costs this is another truly awful company, supposed next day delivery, waited for nearly two weeks and had to cancel, herpes has had the parcel for 4 days stating there's a delay? i wish i had read all the reviews on here, lets hope my refund does not take as long.
Long long waits on the phone and a complete lack of inter company communication, they are all still working from home and they are only open 9-4 and not at weekends, so if you have a job where you work normal hours you will have to waste your lunch time trying to resolve any issues, judging by other reviews on here the product is not great either, so if you have a problem good luck getting it sorted,

“I am appalled as to why I have had to wait2 weeks for a reply from Vax but then to be sent the wrong item and I am still waiting for some one to get in touch as to why I have received a head for a hoover when I am waiting for a battery or charger as mine is faulty, it is now 1 week since yet again I filled out the form on line but still no one has been in touch, I love VAX products I have 3 of them especially the cordless hoover but sad to say I have had no hoover for over a month.”

Tried calling, gave up after 30 mins waiting, tried on line chat, 18 in the queue went down to 17 after 20 mins, gave up, sent email no response. Avoid at all costs. “The battery on my Blade 3 hoover will not charge. I have used it 6 times. It stopped charging last week. Tried on the phone over 30 minutes waiting for a member of the team. Online chat the same waiting for member of the team. Email , sent Registration number and model number as requested and still no reply.

“Once again tried to contact vax customer services and as on previous occasions I was on hold for over 30 minutes before giving up. Have tried emailing the CEO who it appears can't be bothered to reply. After seeing my review vax have decided to send me a spare filter. How this is going to fix my battery problem I do not know. Avoid their products at all costs.”
“Returned the vacuum without using it, while the refund is absolutely missing even after 14 days. Called the relevant team but no one answered the phone. Finish the online chat twice, but nothing changed. The staff there just let you know that they would report it to the refund team and an email would be sent. My concern is that since there exists a team dealing with the refund, why the customer cannot contact the team directly? Why VAX holds the refund for more than 14 days, which should be paid back to customers within 14 days? Very disappointed with this company. Since there was no "zero" star, one star has to be given as a bonus.”
“Appalling company DO NOT buy a vax, had two vax glides in the last year both broken with the same fault. Vax will not replace the second faulty model albeit only 5 months old because apparently when you get a replacement one it doesn't come with a new warrantee.

Bought a Vax Blade 4 on the 8th of October. Registered the day of purchase and provided proof of purchase when registering. Unfortunately out of the box the powered floor head hasn't worked, and has a constant red-light showing. None of the suggested fixes in the manual or on the Vax website solve the issue.
I contacted Vax using their online support system which ask you to provide registration number, serial number, proof of purchase etc., all of which I provided. A couple of hours later I received a case number and an email asking me to provide registration number (if I had one), serial number, proof of purchase etc. What a waste of time. Currently I have a brand new Vax Pet Blade 4 that I can't use on the carpets it was bought, and no response from Vax other than a case number and a request for information I previously provided when submitting my issue to Vax.
Unfortunately Vax have decided to use the 'Covid' excuse, wouldn't it be nice if customers could do the same when paying for their products. Not impressed.”

“Bought a new carpet cleaner, was told repair or new replacement within seven days.
Hours contacting customer care, only to be told my repair was pending( new pump required) emailed on Saturday stating new one on way, sent me a damaged second hand machine and won’t reply to my messages!
