I've just opened an account with very and after receiving my second order there was one item missing. Rang up customer service and they were extremly helpful and polite. Dealth with the issue quickly and refunded the item IMMEDIATELY. Despite the little mistake in the order i was impressed. Very good experience. Items arrived on time.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! Advisors are rude and extremely unhelpful! Wish I never bothered with an account with Very... don't bother shopping with them if your thinking about it, seriously not worth the hassle if you (heaven forbid) need to speak with them over the phone.

Everything in the book I'm no fusser but the minute i put my order in with very it is a nightmare 3 months.The customer service don't have any decency on returning valls or emails & when you go on very contact us page it doesn't even let you email the complaint.I only made a mistake ordering a vacuum & it cost me over £60 in phone bills. appalled never will make a mistake with this company ever again.

I forgot to pay off a pair of boss trainers before the interest period ran out and thought oh well i dont mind paying them off monthly but what they dont tell you is that the mininum payment is just the interest so on a £135 debt they will charge you £20 a month they dont make it easy to see your account details or the interest you are paying . I wont buy from them again

I have been a customer with Very for a few years now. I have always paid on time. However I was absolutely astonished and upset that my latest statement, despite my paying well before the due date/cut off date for my BNPL (buy now pay later) items, I have been charged £42.interest. The previous statement clearly shows the payments made against the particular BNPL AND ALSO STATES BECAUSE I HAD PAID FOR EACH ITEM...ZERO INTEREST WOULD BE CHARGED!!! Yet Very have charged me interest and to top that, they have charged me a late payment fee of £12 yet I have paid!! Last night (2/11/16) I tried three times to rectify this matter with the most ignorant and rude customer service representative I have EVER had the misfortune of speaking to and they were in SA.. They thought is was a joke to leave me holding on the telephone whilst they supposedly credited this money back to my account. They were laughing amongst themselves then cut me off after 12 minutes, 14 minutes and then 20 minutes. Three phone calls and three times they cut me off. I have also sent three emails, still no reply. I haven't had my money refunded. No surprise there hey?? It's absolutely appalling that these thieving scum are blatantly getting away with this disgusting behaviour!! There appear to be hundreds of people experiencing the same or very similar problems. Something must be done about this but how?

I wish I had read all the reviews for Very, I would never have opened an account with them, I thought they would be a reputable company! I ordered a pair of Ugg sandles for the summer I thought because I'd paid at lot for them they would last, the first time I wore them all the side studs came out the came away and I had a painful fall. The shoes had to be sent back, I phoned customer services who I explained I had no returns label the woman on the end of the phone said send them back get a proof of postage and they would refund me for postage, well my parcel went missing so after about 20 emails they asked me to write to The Department of excellence so I did but I sent it signed for post because I don't trust them, I couldn't believe that after not hearing from them I emailed them and there reply ?....the department of excellence has not received my letter! ...... Seems very dodgy to me

Disgusting customer service, keep being, fobbed off, lied to and cut off as they don't know how to answer my query!!!! They don't bother to put notes on the accounts so you have to start the conversation from scratch - and they owe me a £25 pound credit but it's probably cost me more than that in phone calls!!! Don't order from them!!

I have ordered a few times from Very and every time I have been impressed. It was easy to order and pay for my items. The delivery was excellent every time. Delivered on or before the expected delivery date, emails were sent to keep me updated, the delivery guys followed the comments on the order of leaving my parcels in the back garden and even put them in a place where they were kept dry as well as hidden from view. Actual product has also always been above my expectations. Would definitely recommend.

Attempted to place a £300.00 order today and was cut off when asking for BNPL, 2nd time could hear people talking then cut off, 3rd time could hear a woman say I"ve got a call" then cut me off but she actually swore in that sentence. 4th time I asked for a manager, 5th advisor called me arrogant, refused to give me her name, said she would not help me and kept threatening to cut me off if I did not be quiet and listen to her, asking me 4 times for my details and then asked me to spell each individual letter of my name and address. Repeatedly saying "wow, I'll cut you off" . Eventually spoke to a TM who took 30 mins to place a 3 item order. On the phone a total of 1 hour 8 mins for a 3 item order at premium rate. The call centre was in South Africa. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

Firstly they withdrew home collections this year but didn't notify customers at all. Now, they have changed the process for paying off BNPL items and, even though you have paid the item off in plenty of time, they claim that you didn't "apply" it to BNPL so they charge you shedloads of interest. I have complained and asked that they wipe the interest as they had the full amount 6 weeks in advance. We'll see what happens next.........

Bought on buy now pay later. Never had a statement either through mail or online. Charged nearly 90% interest for 3 days late payment, and I dispute 2 of those days. Absolute con. they don't want you to remember to pay so they can screw you for as much as can. NEVER BUY FROM VERY - you will regret it!....be warned.

Placed a order, and paid outright at same time. Returned two items and ordered two replacements of different size. Simple yes! Nooooo..... I didn't receive a credit back to delta so wrongly it seems assumed like for like replacement.... long story short and after many, many phone calls and chats with advisors (one which cost me £25.00) I now have a £12.00 late payment fee and a note on my credit account...How.....??? I originally order 3pr shoes and socks...pay for them...after hassle still only have 3 pr of shoes and socks how can I have a late payment showing?? AFter at least 30 yrs with this company I am finishing with them and how's this I'm a good payer I have a very very high credit allowance with them. There was no understanding at all in accounts. .." the statement showed £6.65 minimum payment overdue"...where's the customer service.... I'm very angry...cost me £12.00 but has cost very a lot more in lost orders!!! I'll never shop with very again. I still can't accept a fine of 12.00. Quid on a order that was originally paid for upfront.

Very poor customer services, nobody notepad the account. I have been charged twice for my order and sent me order twice and nobody help to arrange collection or refund. Very poor service, be aware do not order from them.

I ordered 2 PS4s with their price-matched promotion. They confirmed the order, took the payment but then cancelled the order. Like this you can price match everyone and anything and then cancel the price matched orders. They said it was out of stock but then put the new version up the same day!!! When told about this, they acted like they were completely different products. Absolute time wasters, avoid like the plague.

Daughter bought white double bed when moving into house share. Over £400 with assembly. Assembly couldn't do for nearly 2 weeks and then rang with cancellation next day. Assembler rang to say he was going to be an hour early ! Stress cos nobody there to meet him he rearranged. But when did try to assemble 3 things wrong with bed obviously 0 quality checks 1. Headboard scratched 2. 1 slat badly cracked 3. Part of bed frame wrong part. Bed could not be made up and had to be returned Had to sleep mattress on floor ! Very poor won't use or recommend very again Very rubbish and I reccomended them cos of assembly service but no quality checks to furniture item disgusting !!!!

Got a code to have £20 off first credit order of over £40, ordered dress online wouldn't take the code so emailed customer services to be told once I've received the item and I want to keep it my account will be adjusted , first statement no £20 off so sent another email to be told sorry will send request again will show up on your next statement. Next statement came still no £20 off emailed again to be told sorry don't know what's happened will request again same thing happen on the next statement. so I called customer service to be told nothing is coming up on your account about the £20 off we need the code again i told them I would call back as it has been 4 months now so need to find code again. I phoned back 10mins later spoke to someone else to be told it has been rejected as it isn't your first order I told them it was my first order but the online ordering wouldn't take the code, she went off spoke to someone then said can I have your phone number as someone from accounts will call you back 1 week later still nothing. It is false advertising you never get the same answer and can now no longer email has its been down for over a week. Will never order from them again
