I arrived from China and left my China Visa application with VisaHQ to apply for me while I quarantined. They took $280 from my credit card and then we found out that the China Visa office would not accept my visa application until 14 days had passed. In that time the restrictions on China visas tightened and there was little anyone could do. I collected my passport and documents from Visa HQ. And they have kept $170 for a service they could not fulfill. I realise that a visa service business must be struggling when there is little international travel, but this is too much money for failing to provide what they offered. They didn't even submit the application. When I asked for some of this returned they directed me to the terms and conditions of their service. That shouldn't relieve VisaHQ from behaving honourably. For those of you applying for a China visa when this crisis passes, apply directly. It's easy and that staff at the China Visa Centre are helpful.

You're costs are more than double what other agencies are charging! $210-$220 is the average going rate and, had I found that website I would have used them! Plus, you all charge the same rate for a singe-entry or a multiple-entry visa; so now, if I was to use your company again, I would have to pay another $447...that's not only insane, it's unacceptable to pay $447 for a single entry every time you plan on visiting that country! You will not get any more of my money!

It's completely unthinkable that a website that is supposed to give information to international travellers is not translated at least in English, if not in all the languages spoken in the country where it's available. For example, I'm a French citizen, resident of Belgium, and because of that, when I do a search on visahq.fr, I'm redirected to visahq.be. But for some reason, visahq.be assumes that I speak Dutch, even though half of the country speaks French, and a small minority even speaks German. Nowhere is it possible to switch to another national language, or at least to English. And the best part is, when I contacted their customer support about this, I was answered that all I had to do was to ask my browser to translate the page for me, which is hilarious because first, this feature is only available in some browsers (Chrome but not Firefox) and second of all because when I tried to translate the home page into French, Chrome translated "Iran" (the country) into "j'ai couru" ("I ran"). I regularly use this website because I'm a full time traveler, and I often need that kind of information, and it's the first time I say something about that limitation. But given the customer support answer, I have to speak up.

Hi Sebastien, Thanks for sharing your feedback regarding VisaHQ. I would like to personally apologize for the translation issues you had with your most recent order. Reviews like yours help us improve and I am sending the details of your experience to our web development team. We will take your suggestion for a built-in translation feature into serious consideration moving forward and will use your comments to better train our customer care team. Our staff, however, has no control over the incorrect translation provided by Chrome. To address that issue, you will need to reach out to Google client relations. Again, my sincere apologies and I hope you will give VisaHQ a chance again in the future. Safe travels, Rebekah @ VisaHQ

I have no idea what I paid for. I have no idea what this service gets me. No one has been in contact with me to tell me. One of my teacher colleagues said they registered and didn’t have to pay anything. I just don’t know what I got and why I had to pay $31.50

I did most of the work myself. In retrospect I could have done it all. I think Visahq could offer a refund. I only got the visa because I went to the embassy on Thursday. I was told by Visahq that the embassy didn’t answer the phone but I got thru three times. I queued for a half hour each time and my phone bill will be massive.

I uploaded my documents as required, but my application seems stuck in "waiting for documents.". I've send inquiry emails but got no replies. I've phoned and got a "we'll call you back", but no follow up. This has been a bad experience. If I'd skipped VisaHQ and made the application directly myself, it would all be done by now.

Extremely poor communication. I e-mailed someone about a mistake on my printable visa application and heard nothing back from them. I then tried to get this issue resolved through the live chat feature - apparently I was to receive a corrected, printable application "soon." I am still waiting, am being ignored through the live chat, and sat waiting on the phone for half an hour only to be punted to voicemail. Thanks for nothing.

We were trying to get a Visa for Zambia for my Nigerian stepmother. First VisaHQ kept on asking for documents which are not needed by the Zambian Embassy like a notarially certified copy of the passport. Then they said that the Single Entry Visa is only valid for 30 days (which is not true cause it is 90 days) and that we need to apply for a multiple entry visa, which is of course more expensive. And now they are saying that the embassy just informed them that the visa fee is no longer 50$ but now 130$!!! They are really cheating you and try to get the most money out of your pockets. And still we have no visa after more than a month! So hand off!

Hi, My name is Katalin Pellissier. I am a USA and Hungarian citizen. I am living in California. My family member, (my niece)is going to Cuba with a tourist group of people. I would like to meet her there, and travel with her group. I would like to fly to Cuba. I need a permit, or visa. Can I use my Hungarian passport in this case? Can I ask a license from the State Department? I am not sure what I supposed to do.

The experience would have been "VERY GOOD" if only you would not make me fill out endless pages and questions JUST TO COLLECT INFORMATION on me. As I found out NONE of those questions/answers will ever get sent to the embassy I was applying to and they don't require it. So shame on you for pretending to need all that information from me. Very unprofessional and feels very much like an invasion of privacy. I should check if it is even aligned legally. The rest of the process was good and the agents I dealt with were great.
