Not happy with the fact that your company did not include the BVG number on my prescription. I did purchase a pair of glasses from your company, but wanted to purchase a cheap pair of prescription sunglasses, but cannot use the prescription I was given as no bvg number

A horrible experance all round i was pushed in to buying glasses wheni didnt like any of the frames on offer in my price range and was sold glasses that i did not need and actually made my job more dangerouse . On the whole worst experiance in a shop ive ever had .should have gone to spec savers

The service I received was first class, when I ordered my glasses i was given a voucher, it clearly said that if you ordered a second pair it would be at half price, when I ordered a second pair i was then informed that the offer was for half price on the second pair, this was totally misleading, when I complained I was informed that it would be looked into and some one from customers service would called, which has not been done.not good

Told had high interocular pressure and needed distance glasses as well. Consultant informed me that I have normal eye pressure and do not need glasses for distance! Emergency hospital appointment for nothing. Understandably very let down by yourselves. Poor quality service.

Regarding my visit to your Sunderland Bridges Store on 7th February for reasons too upsetting to relate that happened between the person who pushed my pushchair and the store manager I now have two useless pairs of glasses and I will have to find another opticians after decades of happy service at your South Shields Store ( I do not know the managers name as he never said what it was, he was too busy telling my companion,who was in the wrong as well ,thatHe the manager had 36yrs experience , he was the expert and Mr Dodsworth knew nothing ) eventually after a long time in distress and tears I was pushed out of the shop I will never go to Vision Express again, . What a shame, after years of happy buying off Vision Express

I purchased a very expensive pair of glasses, nearly £400. Wrong prescription made within the lab which caused me chronic headache so returned them. Customer service was terrible, no aftercare for fitting my glasses. Ordered contact lenses too....trial same shocking service. So all in all 0/10. I have gone back to Asda, two pairs of glasses for £150 (verifocal)! So how can Vision express justify the price??? Anyway I wasn't impressed with my whole experience!!!!

Visited the Stamford branch for the first time. Waited around before being seen to, which i found a little unhelpful considering when you book an appointment it asks for you arrive 10 minutes prior? had my eye test, which went well until i decided that i had made an expensive decision with my glasses. I went into the branch and asked for a refund in which a young lady was very rude to me. She confirmed that she would refund me this time only? considering the glasses order had not been sent to the lab ? and confirmed no further refunds would be given. Very very rude in which i will not be recommending this branch to anyone and has now lost my custom for the future. CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! where is it. May i also add the refund dud not go back to my account straight away either, as this was what was confirmed in store

The service I received while waiting for glasses was awful. There was alot of miss communication. I was told a date I'd receive it by and then when I got to that date I had no contact about my glasses. Then I called and found out that there stil at the lab becuase they failed quality check. And I was not happy as was not told anything. And then they told me another date. And then once it got to that date again I then called again as I heard nothing. And they are stil in the lab at this point I was very annoyed becuase I needed then to drive as i was travelling that day.! Very disappointed. Then then arrive another week later so at this point it was over 2 weeks. Very disappointed will not return to vision Express next time.

Been with vision express for many years but this time worst eye test ever note checked eye pressure test no photo of back of eyes test lasted less than 10 minutes to be told my eye sight had deteriorated very poor

Currently sat here at VE Bullring in Birmingham. My appointment is 16.10, was advised to arrive 10 minutes early to which i complied. There was no one to serve at the front desk so had to walk to the back desk where the woman was stood doing nothing. It’s now 16.20 and still haven’t been seen. Pretty poor service considering their staff are ‘engaging’ according to the adverts tacked on their walls

Disgusting opticians had eye test and two retests first time I have used vision express told them I have been wearing glasses for 20 years prescription has always been different in each eye I have been told lately by opthalmology at hospital that my eyes do not balance so how come vision express opticians give me same prescription in each eye,they did not listen to me, I think these three opticians just stuck together 4 months this has been going on for and I am still left without a working pair of glasses they told me they would have to give me my money back absolutely disgusting opticians not very professional why does vision express employ these people if they can not do the job they are supposed to do

Never again. Having been a loyal customer for 15 years I have now learnt that loyalty can leave you accepting sub standard service / product. Staff always too busy / optician breathing all over me with a cold / poor quality eye test resulting in me buying lenses in the wrong prescription/ when raised being told I could pay and have another eye test / when formally complained just fobbed off with some scientific ramble about subject / no subjective responses from customers during eye test. Will be finding another opticians who will give me a better overall service.

Uggghhhh Such a bad experience has left me shaking today. The attitude of staff leaves a lot to be desired. It appears that there isn’t an optician on-site and one has to wait for the right day when an optician will be in. Eye test and ordered my expensive new pair of glasses on 16 Jan. Everything was fine with the eye test. The optician very helpful. I couldn’t make my mind up on a frame and ended up going for a more expensive one. I have astigmatism and am struggling to see at night and decided 2 days later to try contact lenses. I was notified yesterday (21/01) that contacts are ready but no optician until 27/01/20. Seriously? Your business is an optician and you don’t have one on-site? It’s not that there were no appointments, there was physically no optician. Really bad customer service who left me feeling emotionally angry (more of a rage really). Am afraid that this ‘don’t care’ attitude and attempts to make me, the customer, feel to blame, don’t actually work with me. I will be going elsewhere. As warned, I will not be back and will be posting my story to social media. You had me as a first time customer a week ago. Today you lost me forever.

I needed the lens in my glasses updated to my current prescription using the NHS voucher scheme. This is a British citizen's entitlement to healthcare under NHS. It's not optional but VE Wimbledon refused me this because "they cant do it just willy nilly" and my prescription didn't come from their store although the glasses WERE bought from their store and I'd previously spent £££££s with them. Absolutely disgusted!

Had my eye test november 2018 purchased a ralph lauren varifocals at a cost of £370, they are now 14 mths old & the other night i accidentely leaned on them with my elbow and the arm broke off at the springed hinged. Took them back to the branch in wigan to be told by the manager its wear & tear that the warranty ran out 2mths ago and they could not be fixed as once the springs broke thy can,t be repaired . But i could buy a new frame & put the old lenses in £185 i don,t think so. Lesson learn,t the expensive designer frames are not worth it, i said i wished i would of knew about the hinges before i bought them because i would of got a cheap pair she said they would of broke within 12 mths, what would you have done then she replied in the 12 mths we would of replaced them so its a no brainer. Will not be going back to vision express first experience in 2018 will be my last. Will go back to where i have been going for the past 30 yrs, just wanted a more designer frame but never again.

Had £700 set aside for a new pair of varifocals. I arrived a couple of minutes late for my appointment and was duly informed I would have to come back several hours later or another day. Managed to get an appointment at a more local opticians on the same day fortunately and ended up with TWO new pair of varifocals for the same money. They used to be pretty good but they obviously dont seem to need the business any more sadly.

Think they should rename the business .Went for my test 27 nov ,,,Went for new glasses two weeks later could see any print clearly ,She said take them home and try them tomorrow,I said no ,£400 pounds sitting in the case don’t think so.Three girls faffing around measuring ,Waited 20 mins to get an assistant by the way ,Sent them away ,came back the same ,,,Phew getting hot under the collar now ,Another eye test ,different prescription,For some reason I walked away with £100 refund ,January 12th No message .Come and pick up your Glasses ,So Vision express .Not this time,My visit to West Quay was supposed to save me time 😩

The eye examination was 5 star. Then once they took the £900 from me and my wife’s glasses the customer care service was terrible. The arm on the frame had become misshaped due to carrying them in my bag to and from work .The loud, rude and abrupt women told I had sat on them,I said I hadn’t, if she said it once she said it ten times.she then said I will try and straighten them but they brake you will have to pay .I walked out not impressed Never again
