Went to local branch to cash check written to me, because the check was over 500 dollars it was required to be confirmed with check author, who was unavailable. They wrote all over the check front and back, know my financial institution would no longer honor it. Had to jump through hoops to get a hold of check author, to call and confirm check forcing me to make a second trip to vystar. With check previously documented they asked me to go through all the same stuff again, when the assistant branch manager Colton Baby , who was there for the first time and received all pertenant info , was made me go through all the same steps again just 20 mins later. Vystar is a complete shitshow. After last year's online fiasco and my current experiences I would never bank with Vystar.

This is to be the worst and I mean the worst! Credit union I’ve ever had when it came to financing a vehicle. Long story short they keep giving me the run around for a principal payment that should’ve been taken off due to a cancellation of a warranty package more than 90 days ago. Every time I call they either tell me it’s a different department or that they don’t handle that type of issue. I don’t see myself staying with them much longer. Flat out ridiculous!

So I visited the VyStar Credit Union in Ormond Beach Florida, best experience ever as a customer. Was greeted with friendly smiles and was offered assistance immediately upon entering the facility. Met Relationship Specialist Sheryl Melendez and was talked into opening account and even assisted with me applying for a credit card. Amazing customer service and I will be bringing more customers to her location. Top tier customer service!

I have been banking with VyStar for several years now and I recently visited your Bartram park branch And dealt with Marie Almonte. She was very thorough and answering my questions regarding transferring money into a CD, advised of the different rates for different time periods. She was extremely pleasant and answered all my questions and needs I never felt that I was rushed Or unimportant. Great five star service.

On July 3, I applied for a new car loan with Ryan at the VyStar branch on 43rd St. in Gainesville, Florida. I have to say that it was a fantastic experience. From start to finish he did such a great job. I walked in and told him what I wanted to do and he took care of everything! I had my loan in a matter of hours and drove my new car home that evening! I’m proud to be a member of a credit union that has such excellent customer service! Thank you VyStar and a special thanks to Ryan Forgas!

Horrible. I had someone today whose accent is so heavy,( no. Il not xenophobic) most of what he said was indiscernible. Can’t get through to a branch, ever and no my issue could not be resolved online. Closing out after current payroll is deposited.

I would choose a zero rating if I could. VyStar is the absolute worst! I've banked with them for over 20 years. I have six accounts with them, including a business account. This past year has been the worst experience you could have at a credit union. I use bill payers. Well, they send my bills late. As of lately, I've received a late fee on my credit card bills because of the late send-off. When I called to ask what the problem could be, it turns out if the bill payment date falls on a weekend, then VyStar sends it late. The rule is if the due date falls on a weekend, then it's sent early. When I contacted them, they suggested that I send it early. Wow! I couldn't believe it. I have 15 recurring payments and they suggest that. That completely defeats the purpose of online recurring payments (bill payers). Honestly, this is just one problem I've had with them. I can go on and on. I absolutely hate this credit union! They've gone down in quality. Horrible.

Vystar charges there customer $29 courtesy fee. They double dip. I can see if the customer doesn't have the money any the account but the bank takes whatever money you have and then turn around and charge you on top of that. A $1.47 short in the account they charged me $29 bucks and I put the money in when I noticed it wasn't enough before a NSF fee.

So I signed up for a 3 month deferred truck payment in early may 2024, I paid the process fee and told it would start in June for 3 months, payment came out in June, so I go to the credit union and they informed me it processed late so it would start in July, guess what it came out again, wonder what the excuse is now. Bad business practice when you pay a fee and still get screwed iver

The Fraud Dept is straight garbage all they want to do is cut your card off 7 to 10 business days and give you the company talk. Lyn hung up on me. Chinique Refused to transfer me to a manager or give me the managers name or number. I finally told Chinique that she was ineffective in her job and to be effective as a supervisor,she should call members.service's, explain the situation then transfer me to members service's. I guess the wait was to long because she transferred me to wait on hold. So I feel like I'm not important enough to be a member of Vystar. Lyn and Chinique are both supervisors in the fraud dept. I have never been treated like this.

First, I had to go in to the branch to set up autopay for my car loan. While there, the associate asked if I want to get a secured credit card. Ninety days later, they repossessed my car! Incompetant associate never turned in my paperwork! $1000 impound fee for THEIR incompetence! Since they DESTROYED my credit rating I asked to close my secured credit card. “Will take 4-6 weeks to process.” TWO MONTHS later, no check. Called. “Five to ten business days.” Two weeks later no check. Called. “It has been processed. I don’t know why you haven’t received your check. Three to five business days.” Three weeks later, NO CHECK! Called. “It was put in your savings account.” Tried to get them to wire to my bank. REFUSED! “You have to come in to the branch.” I specifically asked for a check because their closest branch is over 10 miles away through NIGHTMARE traffic. Never in my life have I seen such an incompetent group of people. Stay away from Vystar whatever you do. They will DESTROY your finances!

This is the worst financial institution I have ever done business with!!!! Look out for forced insurance fees (even when you have an active insurance in place). It can cost you $1,655.62 free to the institution for something you are not at fault!!!!! These people are the worse! And even got my car impounded for that!!! Even after doing all monthly payment! These people are a scam!!!!!

I have been a member of VyStar for many years. I need to give a shout out to two people at the Lake City location. Melissa is extremely collegial, pleasant and greets many members by name. She always has a smile on her face. Kayla makes you feel special. She has a way of making your day brighter. Highest praise to these unique ladies.

This is the most evil company on earth. I developed a health issue in 2020. I attempted to negotiate a solution with them, and they refused. I kept trying to work something out with them, and now they are suing me. I've been in constant contact the whole time. I answer every time they call, and I have given them over $5000 since I've been sick. I wish I had never met them.

Had yet another fraudulent charge on my debit card and of course was told I had to wait 7 to 10 business days for it to be mailed I immediately got forwarded to a different part of Customer Service to ask if there was anyway to speed up this process or to get one printed in a branch and I was told it was not possible I would have to wait 7 to 10 business days. I already anticipate this being a ridiculous process as the last time that I got a fraud charge on my debit card I waited 11 business days and they still could not explain why it hadn't arrived in the mail yet so after waiting Nearly 3 weeks with a ton of back-and-forth I went into the 103rd St branch where I had originally spoken with a teller about the card being mailed out and upon looking at my account and seeing that I had in fact been waiting over three weeks she told me to hold on and that she would print one out . So I am confused can they really print them out right there at the location (obviously) but apparently you have to have waited some ridiculous amount of time or received horrible customer service/experience with them in order to get it printed in the location. Just ridiculous, obviously they can print them out at the locations they are just being cheap and/or lazy and it is causing the valuable customers (that are the reason that their company is up and running) inconvenience and hardships. VyStar obviously does not care at all about their customers and I cannot wait to take my business elsewhere.
