Stayed at the river way lodge, lodge was lovely and clean apart from a few long hairs I found on the floor and only saw them because of my little girl crawling. In the main bathroom the plug doesn’t work so bathing her had to be quick. Had a problem with the hot water, we rang as it was out of Hours and the man came round very promptly to fix the problem Evan though he was eating his dinner. Lovely staff and accommodation with a great location. would definitely stay here again.

Lovely rooms and staff a wee bit out of the way for business purposes

We had a lovely time but it would have been made better if you had acted on the requests made in the visitors book ie. brush and dustpan, additional baking trays and a dishwasher which actually worked properly. Pressure in the downstairs shower/toilet could easily be improved by fitting a “salamander ” pump and fly strips to counteract the flys from the stables would have made the score “very good”.

Very pretty views. Lodge was beautiful. Facilities could do with some TLC - swimming pool wasn't the cleanest. Overall nice stay.

The house was amazing, and the hot tub.

A fantastic location, excellent facilities, and friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately however our planned peaceful camping stay was spoilt by a group of guests staying in a nearby apparent. We had to listen to very loud music, football chants, shouting for most of the evening, despite them being asked on several occasions to keep the noise down, Pity!

Had a really nice week. The lodges are good but could be great with a little TLC, the bath side was cracked, bathroom cabinet mirror a bit rusty round the edges, coffee table really scratched, internet signal absolutely abysmal, don’t bother paying to improve the speed cause it’s still awful. I absolutely would come back but could be improved. Site is beautiful, hot tub fabulous. 9/10 but could so easily be a 10/10

Friendly staff, lovely room. Enjoyed our meals in the pub restaurant. Really needed 2 key fobs instead of 1, especially as they also operate the lighting on the room. Will happily return.

Lovely location and facilities, clean showers and everything you could hope for except - and this is a minor observation - perhaps open the restaurant an hour earlier for coffee?

Very friendly, quiet site. The Waveney Inn was great as I needed to order GFO and they sounded like they knew what they were doing (which isn't always the case when you say you are a coeliac). When food arrived was delicious and very affordable too.

We stayed in Burgh Staithe Spa Unit for 10 people which was very nice. It was however let down by a low level of maintenance to the outside areas. The chairs and tables and all the underside of the balcony above were covered in old cobwebs which would be easily removed and it was a shame it was lime this not to mention the grass needs cutting. There was also no BBQ facility which is a great shame for a holiday unit of this nature where it is to be expected that guests would want to BBQ during their stay. The cooker was very slow and also the noise from the WC fans from both within the unit and from the Penthouses above was very bad.

Very clean. Easy to launch boat, food in pub very good. Showers tidy, single occupancy in a square block unisex. Shower, toilet seating hairdryer mirror all included. Separate toilet block again clean and tidy. Small compact shop, open 9-6. Single track road with passing places for last couple of mile to site, a little difficult for large caravans. If on super pitch, don’t forget a long tv lead, if using tv Waste water electric and tv all on same post at rear of pitch shared between 2. WiFi, good in pub, bad where caravans are.

Our lodge was perfect, spacious, comfortable and clean. We all really enjoyed the hot tub. The staff were all helpful and friendly and we enjoyed taking a boat out on the broads for the morning. The site was fine, we enjoyed the quiet and countryside, lovely for the dogs but would of liked some more facilities for the older children, such as a football pitch, basketball court, bigger playground. The swimming pool hours were quite restrictive and it was smaller than we expected so this together made it difficult so we didn’t use it at all.

We loved this campsite! We travelled with another couple and teenagers for some days and on our own for the rest of the time. What a warm welcome, fantastic peaceful location and ideal place for exploring the broads and Norfolk. I can’t believe I’ve not found this gem earlier after camping all over for 20 years. I would prefer male and female showers as opposed to unisex but that’s just a small niggle and I would love to see an Adults only camping section.. !!

Good clean facilities. Remember in peak season you need to book the swimming pool. Waveney inn is good and reasonably priced. We stayed on Heron #4 pitch, it was fine but on a slope, if you are booking a Heron pitch make sure you bring some levellers!
