“We got a transfer from Athens Airport. Although it was hassle free I didn’t expect it to be in a general taxi that I could have hopped in myself at the airport . I did wonder if we had paid more for something we could have done ourself just as easy at the airport”

“The only reason I have rated this “good” and not “very good” is because of the transfer we had in Prague. We have used Welcome for our transfers in Prague, Barcelona and Lisbon as well as a return transfer in Prague. They were all really good experiences except for Prague where our driver was surly, didn’t speak to us at all and when we arrived close to our accommodation, just basically left us to find it ourselves where the other drivers have shown us right to the door.”

“Landed at the airport late night and after opening my phone to text the driver we discovered our ride was canceled (then we also saw a refund email was sent to us while we were flying). We were with two small children and were very upset about this unexpected cancellation. We grabbed a regular taxi instead. This was very disappointing and I would have expected them to find an alternative driver if they had to, but they didn't. Instead Welcome Pickups offered to pay our trip back to the airport at the end of our vacation (in addition to refunding us for the first trip we had booked, of course), if we booked it through them, to which we agreed only because it was free. The driver got delayed in pick up time apparently due to a late incoming flight - and was eventually late to pick up by 50 minutes - which again was very troubling to say the least. So far we have all the reasons to give a very poor grade, but eventually we decided to rank them as 4 stars because both the driver and online support were very nice and helpful despite all trouble, since the ride itself was comfy, relaxed, and safe, and since the compensation (about a 50 euro worth ride to airport) seemed overall adequate. I am not a 100% sure I would book with them again, but given the above and how nice everyone was I might give Welcome Pickups another chance next time.”

“Everything was good in our transfers in Tel Aviv. Both drivers were polite and cheerful. The second one kindly offered water and some candies to us compare to the first one. Moreover the second driver patiently fulfilled every request for the leaving time to the airport. In the first arrival in Tel Aviv our flight was delayed and border control took lots of time because of specifics on the Israeli passport control. The driver came to the airport a little bit earlier and he had to wait for us. So, we had to pay in addition for waiting. Even more, it was other driver. I suppose you need to think through the moment. Because then in any case we have to pay for extra time due to the peculiarities of passing the Israeli border because we don`t have an opportunity to pass this procedure faster.”

“We were a family of 2 grown ups and 2 children aged 1 and 5, and I informed Welcome Pickups about this. When we were picked up from the airport the car had a baby seat for the youngest, but nothing for the 5 year old. On the return trip from the hotel the car had no child seat at all. We are used to better security in Norway, so I deduct one star for that. Both times we booked a sedan, but were picked up by a mini bus, only for us, for no extra charge. Thumbs up. Drivers were nice, helpful and careful both times. Price was very good compared to the alternatives considered. We didn't really know where to look for Welcome Pickups at the airport, but they found us, so no problem.”

“Great to know a transfer was waiting for us upon arrival in Barcelona. It turned out to be a Barca taxi anyway with a complimentary bottle of water! After using the local taxi service of several days we reverted to using them for airport and port transfers as they were readily available, reliable and in almost every case, just as clean. Much cheaper too. Seemed we paid for the bottle of water in the first instance!”

“Both pick ups were on time, the drivers were helpful and pleasant and it was good to know that they would be in the airport waiting for me. I received a text saying they were there and had no problem seeing the driver when I excited the arrivals. Costs a little more but you pay for a prompt service in a very clean and comfortable car and a easy journey to your hotel/airport”

“Thought the pick up would have been at the door and not in the carpark quite a walk away. Also we didnt get our bottled water as promised and were all very hot and thirsty. He said it would be warm in car but should have provided a cool bag. Surely its always hot in madrid/”
