“Our driver was waiting for us as we exited airport luggage area despite our late arrival. It was very helpful that we had seen a photo of him, and he of us, prior to arrival. He had been born in US and lived there a number of years so had an excellent command of English. He supplied us with cold bottled water for the drive to the port, which was much appreciated. He was very helpful in suggestions of what we might want to see and do while in Athens, and gave us good tips on costs and access to sights.”

“The booking online was easy and straightforward. The named driver was waiting for us at the airport and drove us straight to our hotel. On our return, our driver was just as efficient, waiting to meet us at the appropriate time. Well done! The service provided through Welcome was excellent and we will definitely use it again.”

“Our driver was on time, friendly and pointed out the sites. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because I bought a prepaid SIM card from the company and the time I went to use it for a local number in Greece, it didn't have enough money on it. Not sure what the point is to buy a SIM card for $10 that doesn't have enough on it to work? Otherwise, very happy with the driver service”

“My experience of this company was nothing but positive. Clean cars, friendly drivers who drove responsibly. Excellent communications - a text from the driver to say he was waiting - extensive pre-journey emails confirming. I would not hesitate to use them again.”

“Thodoris was friendly and excellent. He patiently waited for our plane arrival even though it was late due to the air controller strike. He communicated with us very promptly with email. He also had water prepared for each of us in the car.”

“Finding a reliable taxi can be stressful when you first arrive at any airport and Welcome Pickups were a superb solution. We used them when we arrived at Athens airport and again when we returned to Piraeus from Syros. Both drivers were extremely helpful and polite. The customer communications prior to our trip were first class. I think it is a great service and just wish that all cities had a similar company. A great welcome to Athens!”
