i am still waiting for my bathroom to be finished.Have no basin fitted due to wrong top delivered .now informed it will be the 24 th two weeks after the fitter arrived,not there fault but the stores .who completely ordered the wrong calour . this is our only bathroom and toilet in the house . Its been very stressful,not being able to wash properly .not so bad for me but the ladys in the house a nightmare .But wicks dont seem bothered but i will be looking for compensation i await a reply many thanks MR S Carrigy

I was promised next day delivery when I contacted the call centre to place an order as long as I ordered by 5pm. Later on at about 3pm I placed an order for 4 doors - not possible it will be now the day after ! I wrote to customer service to be then told ,to make matters worse , the delivery will be split into 2 ie at 2 different times. I contacted customer services to be given a unhelpful broken record reply . We can’t be responsible , we don’t promise anything etc It gets worse ...... the delivery may end up as 3 deliveries for 4 doors !, The local store has only 2 doors , another will have to be sourced and yet another door to be delivered from central stores. I have wasted so much time with something so simple . Not inspirational service at any level

Wickes came out to measure the kitchen and three bathrooms but when our builders came to fit the kitchen they discovered the measurements were 8 inches out, meaning part of our window was going to be covered by the walk-in pantry. Meaning this mistake has cost the builders time and is money and we have to cover the cost of fixing the designers mistake! Bathrooms got delayed twice and told that shower screens wouldn’t come until 6 weeks after the rest of the bathrooms! Furious! Wish we hadn’t bothered using Wickes!

Twice delivery cancelled. Refund for delivery was told by manager would receive today no surprise still no refund. Order had to be collected and wrong part sent and damaged timber. Management very RUDE. To be honest will never use WIKES ROUNDHAY ROAD OR SUGGEST TO USE. AS MANAGEMENT ARE INCOMPETENT AND HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. IVE SEEN BETTER SERVICE FROM THE CHIMPANZEES AT THE ZOO. IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE WITH QUALITY ASSURED USE SELCO BUILDERS MERCHANTS. AS WIKES IS GARBAGE.

Wickes hires contractors who install kitchens which is very unfortunate as they truly do not care about customer service. It took them 3 months to fit a simple kitchen as they kept delaying things and we ended up without a cooker for 5 months! All that time we had to use a camping stove to cook meals. It has now been 9 months and we still have not received the certificate for the electrical works. Having tried to contact Wickes customer services/ relations for the past 5 months, they never returned our calls or emails. It has been a true experience from hell. I would never go with Wickes again and would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Spent 20,000 on kitchen with supposedly discount of 4,000 and free fitting . When the fitter came round I've had a bill for 4,300 hardly free fitting and huge hidden costs beware when purchasing

Nightmare I brought a kitchen for my 72 year old mother from wicks and was meant to be delivered 13 feb 2018 received all texts conform del from Wicks and DX delivery service but never showed up chased up at cm services and told would now be next day. Eventually turned up in 2 parts one delivered by a young girl and needed help to carry from my 72 year old mother and the second del the driver hid damaged parts got her to sign and scarperd after several conversations with wicks Cm services that I assume must be in Scotland as everyone I’ve dealt with is scottish now a week later two more delivery’s and another no show delivery and more damaged parts it has to be said Wicks , DX delivery service and Wicks cm service you are a joke and don’t deserve to trade you take the money and bully

No delivery No sorry Ordered tiles and paid extra for timed delivery. Delivery didn't arrive when phoned they said I don't know why they were ordered from a certain store as they had no stock, explained i ordered and paid online not with any store. They said they would cancel order and return payment. No sorry!!!!!! I explained I had tilers waiting to fit the tiles was told by Tammy (wouldn't give surname) nothing they can do and to read there terms and conditions. will never use this company again.

My daughter telephoned to make an appointment regarding planning anew kitchen, after giving some brief information of what she was looking for the customer service!! reply was abrupt unhelpful and resulted in my daughter putting the phone down. Needless to say she will be looking elsewhere for her new kitchen you lost a her order and will lose a lot of others until you employ competent helpful staff.

Went to pick up small order. Staff overly zealous on ID. After loads of questions I thought I might be asked to take my shoes off and walk through X-ray machine!

Terrible service. Very rude, unprofessional staff at the store and delivery. They expect you to pick up your order from the van, as the driver cannot leave the vehicle, but will not let let you know in advance when they are coming. 30£ for that! Save your money, and time. Best to avoid.

Bought a toilet from them and somehow they have successfully designed so that you have to have the hand of a baby to change the seat. Bloody idiots.

Incompetent fitting. Only had kitchen fitted last April and endless problems with my kitchen. The two year workmanship guarantee is a pathetic lie. I've logged problems with my kitchen since Nov 17 and still no one out to address the issues I ve registered. Your fitters are incompetent. Your call centre agents including the complaints department are an utter disgrace and such unprofessional idiots. You 've ruined my kitchen and given me a terrible experience.

I purchased a hoover a few days ago and wanted returned because it is horribly noisy!!!! Literally we are not able to work with it without the ear protectors. They said that we can not return it because there is not original packaging!?! Who the hell keeps a big cardboard box thinking that one day it will be needed when something goes wrong!?!? Beware of buying stuff from Wickes!!!

Bathroom in a small flat. Approved installers charged in survey over £700 for a bath frame they said was needed to support the bath, pipework over and above what was supplied by wickes and £280 to remove the old bathroom and dispose of rubbish. When the job was finished and within days a leak in the basin because it was not fitted correctly plus w/c cistern not screwed onto wall. We then discovered instead of installing the bath panel they used a bit of cut down furniture panel [not waterproof] and when we told them to take it away discovered they had not put in a bath frame but claimed they had and we could not see it because it was behind the bath. Threatened to sue us if we did not pay the balance. Wickes customer complaints sat on the issue saying they had no record of the various E mails and calls we made. After months of attempts to resolve the regional install manager came and accepted all we had said was true and offered to get back monies we over paid and offered £150 for us to finish the install ourselves!! Customer services offered £150 for the months of worry they caused us and claimed the furniture ombudsman has been consulted by them and its fair and reasonable. This has been rejected by us and we now have to wait for the ombudsman to review our case. NEVER USE WICKES INSTALLERS OR IF YOU DO CHECK THE FIGURES THEY ASK ARE FAIR AND EXTRA COSTS ARE ACTUALLY USED UP.

Drove to the nearest branch of wickes (Westwood cross, Thanet) after seeing an item in the clearance sale was in stock at that branch. Got there, queued up and was then flatly told that no it wasn't in stock, despite it still being listed as in stock online, and that I was actually the 4th person to come in for it, and they'd been meaning to change it online. Somebody needs to get sacked.
