I ordered 3 kitchen items for delivery to store in Hinckley to add to an existing installation... 2 doors and an oven housing. They initially arrived after 2 and a half weeks. But it took a further 4 weeks before all issues were resolved. One of the doors was replaced 4 times. Oven housing replaced once. Oven filler panel replaced twice.. Every time due to damage from manufacturer or courier. Customer service was OK... But the quality of product is very very poor. Was promised a call from store manager today but not received...

The worst company ever! Perfectly working heating and hot water system prior to installation. Work starts and we are left with no heating or hot water. 38 days later our plumber and baxi customer service say it's not coincidence. New parts ordered and fitted. Now works. What do Wickes say...no concrete evidence. Another £600 to pay. Absolute joke. DO NOT USE WICKES! Just awful.

However many characters this text box allows, will not be sufficient to explain just how poor the Wickes Customer Experience has been for me. So I will attempt to summarise my appalling new bathroom installation. I am now 19 weeks without a functioning main bathroom. There has been every issue you can imagine, poor design, incorrect and late deliveries, incorrect fitting, poor installation, leaving me with mess everywhere, not collecting incorrect items for weeks, not following their own installation specifications, wrong items ordered, and shocking customer service from almost every single person I have had to deal with. No one seems to care, I have lost count of the escalations I have had to mail/call/raise with the ironically titled Customer Experience teams. When I do receive a response, it’s inadequate and doesn’t address what’s going on. If only I had researched feedback before I took the plunge. I have even tried to make contact with their CEO, in order to get someone to take things seriously. Unsurprisingly, another disappointment and no reply. So, when the prompt here asked me ‘what went wrong with your Wickes installation’ the answer is simple. Everything.

Bought the top end kitchen, with Wickes bottom end fitter. Finished in January with faults. Tried the all sing all dancing customer services, then ombudsman, forget it, its a cosy con job. Today 8 months on Im taking them to court for not fixing the snags that they even admit to!

I had my Coinbase wallet wiped out in a single transaction. I didn't know what to do and couldn't get a hold of Coinbase support Teams. This transaction emptied out all my Ethereum and Bitcoin. This was not me and I needed help after losing roughly 821,000 dollars. I went to the police to file a report and they also failed to help me. A gentleman at the stiction walked up to me and handed me a note that contained an Email address (lisaellzabet 662  @  gm ail  .  com) and this number(+1 301 658 0921) he told me this recovery company could help me. And truly after getting in touch them and submitting every documentation within 72 hours i got a mail she was able to recover all my funds and also revealed the men behind the dirty act. I wish to let everyone know that it is possible to get your money back if you contact the right person and follow instructions.

Wickes are dumb and dumber. Avoid them by all means. Disgusting customer service. They deliver faulty goods and then demand money for collection if you want to return their stuff.

my refund was late on the 10 days wickes promise on their website. Had to chase it, was promised compensation after the refund, I have that in writing! Then the refund came trhough, and customer service said there wont be any compensation. Yes, you read that right, they went back on their promise. Very negative experience, I would give them zero stars if I could.

I would buy a washer from them worst customer service by far that I have ever had. A year ago they done my bathroom it's only 7ft by 7ft took them a month to complete it we were without a working shower for 10 days. Nearly 3 months ago the shower tray cracked and we are still trying to get them to sort it just say we will contact a fitter and get back to you within 7 days

What went wrong you ask !! Well, almost everything ! Kitchen still not completed after more than 12 months Unprofessional and aggressive Wickes kitchen fitter Many phone calls and emails over the 12 months to many people and departments BUT kitchen installation work not completed No customer support as the company must be inundated with faulty / unfinished work and are unable to handle volume of complaints Do not use Wickes and would not recommend this company for kitchen installations

We have had a new shower from wickes it was started in May this year and only half finished it's now halfway through July and still NO SIGN of it being Finished I wouldn't an recommend anyone going Wickes It's been 3 months without a Shower

We went in store on Saturday 20/07 to make a purchase. We were served by a lad who was talking throughout our transaction on his headset. We had to 'interrupt' him to ask questions about prices and his attitude made us feel like we had interrupted him. He continued to speak and each time we needed to ask, we were met with him offering an apology to whoever he was talking to on his headset. The only time he spoke to us was to ask if we had a trade card. I asked him a question re the trade card and he was so busy engaged in conversation that he simply repeated the question rather than answering my query. I told him that I was not impressed with his attitude and the rudeness of having a conversation whilst serving. He did not apologise or say anything. When we paid for our items (nearly £50), he handed us our receipt with no thank you or goodbye. We will seriously reconsider using Wickes in Bognor Regis again if that's the attitude of the sales team.

Wickes is shockingly bad. Don’t buy anything other than a box a screws . Order kitchen units in store and paid in store for next day delivery . 4 days later no units, so cancelled the order , remembering I cancelled order before taking delivery. Anyway delivery turned up , told driver the order had already been cancelled , so units went back in the truck . After weeks and phones calls to ‘customer service ‘ still no refund . Despite me never taking delivery . Hopefully Wickes will go out of business and be replaced with something better. Don’t buy from Wickes . 10sec to take your money , weeks to get it back

Wickes messed up my click and collect order for an item they had in stock. They told me they had an issue with their system, and as such I could not get my order.. despite them taking the money for it. Roll forward two weeks, and I still have no product and no refund, despite multiple attempts to get a refund. All e-mails are ignored. Phone calls to customer services 'promise' a refund, but nothing comes. I have had to resort to raising a claim against them using PayPal (thank god I paid with PayPal), as they are simply stringing me along. TLDR Wickes will take your money and take advantage of the fact you are just a small fish in a big pond, knowing you are basically at their mercy for how and when you might recieve your money back. This whole thing has wasted hours of my days, and they don't give a damn. ALWAY pay with PayPal if you can, these grifters will fleece you if any 'issues' are encounter on their end.

This being by 3rd and final kichen from wickes 4 out 5 units warped/sagged 1000 base 1000 corner 2 x 1000 wall units all effected The kitchen was designed by wickes Base units need more legs as sag back and front Wall units sag across front putting doors out of alignment Wickes only willing to refund wall units. As they said extra legs. Needed in middle of base units that units are not made for and they do not supply. I installed by there instructions and used every component. Would never fit another wickes kitchen again.

Faulty door delivered (very obvious manufacturing faults). Customer service advised it would be a 48 hour turn around on replacement. That sounded fair enough. However it’s actually taking SIX days to replace the door (which was in stock) - delaying ongoing work by a week. Had I ordered the same model door online, Wickes promises next day delivery. Why should it take 6 days for your customer service to deliver the same product? If you sell your customer faulty goods, replacement should be done quickly and efficiently - not take the better part of a week. Incredibly poor customer service compared to competitors.

Ordered a kitchen back in January 2023 & it’s still not finished. Dealt with over 14 members of head office staff, get promised the world & get nothing. Kitchen was designed by Wickes designer & installed by Wickes installer, yet so many mistakes & unfinished. The installer was a bully to the point I had to change my locks as I felt threatened by him. Get told on over 20 occasions that someone is going to come & sort it out & YES still over a year later nothing has been done. I have been bullied from the moment I had concerns. I’ve been In refurbishment for over 30 years & have never experienced anything like this. So wish I had read reviews on them & I never would have ordered from them. My designer had all details of my over spec etc & the full space of the room, before the old kitchen was removed & once the old kitchen had been removed, he came again to double check!!! Nothing fits as corner spacers weren’t put in place, bridging units don’t open as they hit the new lights fitted by the installer, dishwasher door doesn’t open as it hits the oven door etc etc my list is endless. As mentioned before head office do nothing. 3 members of staff explained that the kitchen needed to be removed & correctly fitted with all spacers etc yet this was never done . After over a year of trying to get this sorted I’m at the end of my tether of pure incompetence & B.S.

I have had the most horrible experience of the 3 bathrooms I had freshly installed in my home- I have to say the designer in the store was polite and good, however our nightmare started soon after this stage. The installer supplied was a Mathew Baker installation company from Northallerton. This guy is incredibly rude, incompetent, racist and dismissive. The work was done in a very incompetent manner which left several problems for us to deal with and with NO support from this guy. On top of this Wickes have taken NO steps to remove him from their ' approved installer status' which is nothing but corrupted boys network helping each others and supporting each others mess. For the past 6 months I have been fighting for my right and yet it is to get resolved! I have not only wasted my £20000 on these incompetent people, but also have received a constant ridicule and racist attitude from these people to make us feel unwanted and troublesome. I wish I had NEVER gone to Wickes and their horrible installers and have taken some reputed company. This whole experience has given us sleepless nights for past 6 months and I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone in my life!! I wish I could rate these guys a 0, but they have not made this on deliberate reason.

Awful customer and installer experience, faced with a massive amount of stupidity and ignorance from the Regional Installation Manager, Kelly Raine, who attempted to unjustifiably extract money from installers for apparent 'problems'. Incredibly delayed communication, unreasonable commissions (more than 50% taken by designers and managers, after claiming to take 0% comission), incredibly low and poor product quality, and shipment delays. Majority of the customers who I had come across, would definitely NOT recommend working, collobaoration or buying from Wickes. Please take serious consideration before getting works done! Thanks.
