A friend asked me to look at this unit as he couldn't fathom it out. He had put it together as stated, but this unit is of such poor quality and to have a larder / oven housing made of such thin material (15mm) is very poor for the price (£95.) He couldn't return it as I suggested as he had scratched it badly. In the end I dismantled it and and purchased a thicker (18mm) board. I used the old unit sides as a template and surprise, surprise it was perfect. My advise is that if your going to have a kitchen of any type make sure you else where or at least go for 18mm minimum thickness for a more solid stable frame work

I really cannot believe that a 'national' DIY store can sell wood of such an appalling quality. Task 1 - find a piece of wood that is not warped? Task 2 - find a piece that is not so full of knots that is usable? Task 3 - not lose the will to live before you give up in despair, sorting through a load of fire wood before you kick yourself for not ordering the product from a proper wood yard (at less cost) - but then it was a Sunday and you wanted to get the job done for Monday!

Thanks for wasting my time---twice ( I run my own business and time is definitely money) .. Went to buy toilet and cistern - after showing customer your catalogue and taking them to local branch - they chose one off display and I took em home - when job was due to start I went down to fetch the gear required only to be told " we don't stock that one anymore" I pointed out it was on display in store and also in book but was informed it was no longer available and the display model ( complete with price ect) was also not for sale ??? Back to square one with customer and half day wasted ! A month later took another customer to pick some new Taps for suite I'd purchased ( very nice display by the way ) all looked so good it took ages for them to choose - and yes you've guessed it ...."end of line ! We don't sell them anymore " !! And just to really take the Micky the toilet was still on display Just a suggestion but if you want to sell items from your very professionally displayed stores, it could well be a good marketing policy to actually keep the displays up to date with what you sell ! Thanks again for the wasted time - my customer eventually got her second choice on both items from b&q

Now don't get me wrong, I like Wickes, but when it comes to delivery it lacks a hell of a lot, I ordered a larder unit 2 décor end panels of course the doors and a length of plinth,,,Now this is for a global company that I work for with loading bays ,and warehouse facilities etc., The driver(probably agency) decided to lean all the said items against a lamppost at the front of the building then walk maybe 8 mts to the intercom and tell our girl in the office, "Kerbside delivery" and then walk off,,,,And to top it all the plinth I ordered should've been 2.6mt long he didn't seem to think it looked good at that size and as it had been snapped into 1mt(ish) bite size pieces, Not all the drivers are like that , but this one ,,,,,Well!

I ordered 3 kitchen items for delivery to store in Hinckley to add to an existing installation... 2 doors and an oven housing. They initially arrived after 2 and a half weeks. But it took a further 4 weeks before all issues were resolved. One of the doors was replaced 4 times. Oven housing replaced once. Oven filler panel replaced twice.. Every time due to damage from manufacturer or courier. Customer service was OK... But the quality of product is very very poor. Was promised a call from store manager today but not received...

Absolutely appalling service from start to finish. Two missed deliveries with no explanation, followed by two more separate deliveries because the order was split—again, with zero communication. We never received any terms and conditions, and trying to get answers was met with rude, dismissive customer service. The staff showed no empathy or understanding and seemed completely untrained or indifferent. The compensation offered was frankly insulting considering the level of inconvenience caused. Emails were met with delayed or no responses, and it seems like picking up a phone is beyond their capability. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t even buy a paintbrush from Wickes again. No idea how they’re still operating with this level of incompetence.

Avoid buying a kitchen from this company. They have taken 155 days to complete the delivery of a £25k kitchen. In that time we have been sent wrong or damaged parts. Promised delivery days have not happened and then parts have turned up unexpectedly. All piecemeal. Impossible to get through on the phone so you resort to emails which take days to get a response. They then offered a paltry amount of goodwill which did not even cover the extra fitting costs i incurred through multiple revisits never mind the fact our kitchen was 5 months late being finished. I even messaged the CEO over Linkedin and he did not have the courtesy to acknowledge

The installation of shower was done extremely poorly – the sealing was so bad that mould is now growing everywhere inside and around the silicon. Even after Wickes admitted it was installed incorrectly, they have been unresponsive for months. The problem still isn’t fixed. On top of that, the wheels keep coming off the rail, again due to shoddy installation.

Horrendous customer service and after sales care. Ignored for weeks/months until I was forced to copy in the CEO to get some acknowledgment to our complaints.

Be careful where you get to the checkout,I was overcharged £31.00 on a small bill of £56.00,I was told it was due to the cashier having big fingers when covering up the bar codes in front of them.I accept human error but for goodness sake…..

I was promised delivery on Saturday because I work Monday - Friday. I ordered everything from Wickes because I wanted everything in one delivery from one place, without continuous deliveries from different stores. The delivery arrived on Saturday (3.05) but incomplete. They promised to send another one but already on Friday (9.05) - I had to take the day off. On Friday, only one thing was delivered to me. Nobody told me when the rest of the things and I still don't know. And I'm waiting for the kitchen counter. I can't finish the kitchen, I have to take additional days off (nobody pays me when I'm not working). The manager of the point where I ordered the kitchen also doesn't know when the counter will arrive. In general, Wickes is, in my opinion, an unreliable company that doesn't respect customers' time. If I had known that it would be like this, I would never have ordered a kitchen through them. Waste of time and money.

I bought a kitchen worktop ftom wickes 7 years ago. Now there are cracks around our hob, we sealed edges with pva glue as recommended by wickes an given a 10 year guarentee. Now I try to claim under the guarentee they won't honour the guarentee fro Sheridan. So the guarentee is worthless, I will now have to take them to court. I recommend you go to a more superior supplier like Wren , as the Wickes guarentee is worthless.

Placed an online order for a large quantity of tiles (3 pallets). Arrived next day. Realized ordered wrong tiles. Have now been waiting for over 1 month for them to be collected and refunded. Wickes have arranged collection 7 times now, each time failed to turn up and apologized. Tiles have remained on the driveway awaiting pickup for a month (covered). Still no resolution despite now escalated to customer care team. Total disregard to the distance selling regulations (next step Trading Standards). Would strongly advise you don't place any on-line orders with them.

I would give zero stars if I could. Twelve weeks into a bathroom refurb that should have been ten days. We have a disabled child and not had a bathroom for twelve weeks and have no other washing facilities. They left us with dangerous electrics and there is no end in sight.

Wickes give great service until they have your business. The service post is shocking, the quality and install poor and I suggest you spend elsewhere. I have emails and images that support all comments made and will update if Wickes ever bother to reply.

I wish there was a 0 star option. If you're thinking to get a kitchen from Wickes DO NOT BOTHER!!!!!!!! This is the worst customer service ever. 1 month from the kitchen delivery the issue with missing parts have still not been resolved. At no point did anyone from Wickes ask if I've received everything in my order or apologise for the poor service and lack of action in resolving the issue. I have been in store twice and emails back and forth to request for the item to be able to put one of the cupboard together but nothing. No care taken at all. There is no system, no effective communication between staff or their teams as seen. The kitchen quality its nothing to what they have in the showroom. Totally different, and same as IKEA flat pack. But at least IKEA can pack properly their items and you get everything to be able to put the together. For a kitchen that is £13,000 to not get any responses or trying to resolve the issue to ensure customer satisfaction is appalling and disappointing. I was only chased with emails and phonecalls until I purchased the kitchen after that they no longer if you get a kitchen or not as they got the money! Don't waste your time and get stress, it's not worth it. Do your research before!!!

AVOID!! ordered goods for a project to be delivered on a specific day. They were not delivered and received a message to say would be delivered a few days later still not delivered! . No help from calling customer service. Delivery never attempted. Two weeks later I am still waiting for it to be dealt with and a refund issued despite multiple emails. I don’t usually write bad reviews but this has caused so much inconvenience and delays with our project

Absolutely appalling experience to date. Wickes sold and fitted my new kitchen including Metis worktop. Despite the worktop cracking three weeks later on Dec 13th we are still awaiting a replacement. This week the worktop cracked again and is now unsafe as the cracked area is unsupported and Wickes are now requesting a visit from the installations manager before replacing but the installations manager does not respond. Left with a cracked unsafe worktop in a home with young children - beyond frustrated and concerned that a large company like Wickes have such low health and safety standards!

Bought some waste pipe and asked sales assistant if she could cut it in half so it would fit in my car. She said she couldn't because of health and safety, I then asked if she I could borrow a saw, again she said no because of health and safety! Wicks are absolutely pathetic in their customer service attitude
