“We cannot fault the service from The Woolroom, delivery was prompt and the footstool very well packaged, however the "Hairy Cow" foot stool is very small ( measurements are there but make sure to scroll down the info ) and was returned. The Woolroom refunded our payment, in full, very quickly. Apart from being disappointed it cost £16.00 to return so make sure the small size is acceptable before purchase.”

“I ordered a wool topper which was very promptly despatched. It makes the bed very comfortable and inviting. My only quibble is that the straps which hold it down are a bit short. However the topper itself is excellent.”

“We bought pillows, all season duvet and mattress cover. The pillows are great - a bit lumpy at first, but I've got used to them and their very comfy now. The mattress protector is brilliant, I don't even notice it. My problem is with the all-season duvet. It's a little too stiff, being two duvets, and so every night it rotates inside the duvet cover and the poppers unpop. I find myself having to shake it out every night to get it to straighten, otherwise it's ridiculous and gets stuck. I think if was just one duvet, it would be fine, so we wish we'd just bought the warmest one. However, on the allergies. My husband would sneeze every morning without fail non-stop, but this has stopped since having the wool duvet, pillows, etc. Definitely sleeping better and we're warm enough.”

Dear Customer, we're so glad to hear that our bedding is helping with the allergies. I wanted to write a quick not to reassure you that the duvets do soften up with time. When they're brand new they're full of combed layers of wool, with use this wool will relax and hopefully prevent further movement inside your duvet cover. Also with this softening, the duvet will mould around you a little better which tends to help the duvet feel that little bit warmer. We hope you'll continue to see improvements in you sleep. “Delivery prompt but unfortunately the van driver absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke , which was very off putting! I was worried for the contents of my package, but fortunately all was well as the duvet was well wrapped and inside its own fabric bag. Loving the wool duvet in (approx) tog 9, after two weeks use. We are very warm and snug under this duvet but not waking up sweaty as I did with a goose down duvet. The weight is lovely. You are aware that there is something relatively substantial over you, but it is not too heavy, somehow giving the impression of comforting. Some people have commented on smell. There was a faint smell of lanolin for a few days, certainly not unpleasant and now disappeared. Perhaps pop outside for a few hours in fresh air if concerned.”

“The duvet is a little large for my duvet cover so I have to curl it at the edges. The duvets are also lighter weight than expected so I added a blanket so it wouldn't feel so gappy and chilly underneath. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. I haven't woken being too hot in bed, as I did with my previous bedding, which was the reason for buying wool products.”

“Ver well made, but unfortunately sizing completely wrong, size 7-8 was more like 9-10. Also the sole was made of felt (like the rest of the slipper) which made them incredibly slippery and too risky to wear on the wooden floors in my house.”

“My sons are enjoying their quilts. They have the thin summer ones and extra blankets for the winter. Its a welcome change from one big quilt that gets kicked off in the night. One of the quilts has now gone through the wash on 20 degrees, with the special wool detergent then tumble-dried on low and it has come out well - fresh and clean and just as warm. We got the classic quilts which, at a sale price, I considered good value. I expect them to last and still look good for at least five years or longer.”

“The quilt was all it said it was. I do sleep better, although I still get a bit hot...... but that's my age! It did smell of sheep, but after a couple of days that went, it wasn't unpleasant, just sheepy.”

“I didn't get a confirmation email for my purchase, but the website showed that the order had gone through. The courier tracking service is very good, and means you don't have to waste a day waiting for the delivery. I bought a wool topper, which is thick, and very good quality. Would recommend this company.”

“The service I received was very good and the delivery was very quick as well. The only reason why it is not full marks is that my name was not written on the parcel. I had it luckily delivered to my work address and they signed for it but we had to go through a great deal of searching for the parcel as only the courier number was written on it but no name. Would I had delivered to my home address it would have easly been lost. I would order again but can I be sure the next time my name will be written on it.”

“The blanket looks lovely and is nice and leight, the only slight disappointment is, that from the description I had expected it to be softer. Delivery was great with confirming the delivery date and asking for instruction like handing it in at neighbours or leaving the paket at a safe place.”

“The rug arrived very quickly, it is a gorgeous colour, lovely feel to it too. Not quite as thick a rug as I had imagined but I am very pleased none-the-less. Would recommend, especially for bedrooms.”

“We use a summer wool duvet throughout the year so decided that this would be good for the summer. It felt very thin when it was packed but has bulked up a bit. It is warmer than I thought it would be, but cooler than our original summer version. There are nights when I still revert to just a sheet - but my husband finds this OK. I'm glad I bought it but wish it were just a little bit thinner!”

“I love my super-light wool duvet! It's perfect for these warm summer nights, and feels really luxurious. My only quibbles are that it doesn't seem to be the same size as my duvet covers, and that after I placed the order I heard nothing until the parcel was delivered - a dispatch email would have been appreciated! But overall, I'm very happy, and will be coming back for a pillow soon.”

Dear customer, thanks for the great feedback. On the size issue, please could you measure in cms, the length and width and get in touch at info@thewoolroom.com. If there is a big size problem we'll see what we can do. The other thing to watch out for is a miss-sized duvet cover, which is less noticeable with a feather/down/synthetic duvet. “The order was received very quickly. The cot bed duvet feels more like a cover than a duvet and isn't really 'huggable' as advertised or like the other wool duvets we have for ourselves / our older child. Initially, we thought it wouldn't be right for our 2 year old, however we have discovered it is actually perfect as it doesn't swamp him and makes a good transition from his wool sleeping bag. First night in his 'big boy bed' last night and he slept through so obviously comfy and warm enough.”
