“I ordered the deluxe pillows and they are wonderful. What I enjoy the most is that you can adjust the fill of the pillows to suite yourself. I also feel that I can breath much better. Great product!”

“I ordered the deluxe wool duvet - king sized - for our guest bedroom without realising that the few king sized duvet covers we had were actually not the same size! So - bought a new one that fits perfectly and now all good. My father just stayed for a few nights and said it was comfortable :) I bought the deluxe version as it was machine washable - however it's so large I don't think it would actually fit in our machine! So probably should have gone for the slightly cheaper dry-clean only option... The Wool Room delivered very quickly and provided excellent tracking options - all in all a painless experience.”

“I bought a duvet and mattress protector (already have pillow) for my husband who has a serious asthma related condition called ABPA. You can Google this or just think in terms of allergies like dust and mould for starters. Basically, he has noticed an improvement in his sleep since converting to wool. We use bamboo bed linen to good effect also. A good nights sleep is important especially for those with health issues and I am confident in saying that the wool experience has made a difference for both of us.”

“So disappointed with the duvet as it's too hot, even though it's the lightest. But it's very comfortable and breathes quality. (The heat has to do with my own hormonal problems so this was a final attempt to find a duvet that wouldn't overheat!) I've gone back to a light blanket with other layers, to my great regret, as I love duvets and am desperate for an exceptionally light one.”

“I bought the summer weight "luxury" wool duvet. I sleep with the window wide open, and in this cold weather it is been warm enough for me with a light blanket on top. I had trouble over heating under a goose down duvet, and this seems to be better. It is not noisy or smelly.”

“I've ordered several items and each time have been a happy, satisfied customer. I like the products and appreciate the tracked delivery. The web site is easy to navigate and generally works well. The only niggle for me is being asked to write a review before receiving the item and another time, receiving a despatch email well after goods were received. Let's blame that on the computer as it can't answer back.”

“We have tried two single all season duvets. My husband was not warm enough as he prefers and is used to an all season feather duvet in the winter. I think it is a matter of getting used to a very different type of duvet. I am prepared to continue especially as these duvets are suitable for allergy sufferers.”

“After searching the Internet for a wool mattress topper we decided to go for the Deluxe, due to its higher GSM (1000gsm) compared to others. It is really well made; the elastic straps are effective and the cotton casing nice and soft. Thanks to the topper, both my husband and I are sleeping better in the night, turning less frequently. I used to feel achy in the morning but that has really improved. Having spent a lot on a high quality mattress, we did wonder whether the topper would make a difference but it has. Would really recommend to anyone! Delivery was quick and efficient.”

“The Wool Room has been excellent. The product was what we wanted and was swiftly dispatched. The delivery courier used was very poor - delivered to the wrong address where it was rejected. (It cannot have been far from us as the post code was correct.) The response of the Wool Room staff was very good. They phoned immediately they knew it had been rejected; they got the courier company to agree to redeliver at the end of the round - sadly the courier company again fell down and took the item straight back to the depot. More phone calls... and the Wool Room arranged that it would be delivered that day from the courier depot. Bottom line: the Wool Room - excellent. The courier in use that day - ...”

“I ordered the deluxe wool topper and the wool mattress protector/enhancer to use together. They arrived really quickly in great packaging. The good - I love the straps to keep the topper in place, it's fairly thin but very soft and comfortable to sleep on. The protector has really deep sides which is perfect for our mattress and I'm glad we got it. The bad - the topper doesn't stretch to cover the whole mattress. It's a King, the mattress is a King, and I have double checked but there's about 1.5 inches not covered and I would fully expect a topper to reach the edges. I thought this would be resolved once slept on and 'flattened' a little but it hasn't and since I tend to prefer to sleep right on the edge this isn't ideal. All in all I would recommend, especially at this good price, but I am a little annoyed it doesn't fit better.”

Hi Sarah, Firstly, let me thank you for taking the time to leave us this review, the feedback is much appreciated. When our deluxe wool toppers are made, they're made to size specification and then we add an additional 5cm to try and make up for the slight, unavoidable shrinkage when filled. While we cannot guarantee it'll be exact because of the sheer amount of filling in the topper, we're confident that you'll be able to stretch out the topper to reach close to the edge of your mattress. When the product is packaged, it'll compact slightly due to the fillings, therefore what I'd suggest is getting some assistance to try and gently pull both sides of the topper in an attempt to ease it back into it's correct size. I'm confident this will help, but don't hesitate to give us a call if not. Thanks once again, Adam The Wool Room

“The duvet it's nice, light and warm. So nice to be together early in the mornings and have this comfortable duvet then I'm feeding baby. With merino wool sleeping bag he was awake more often then duvet. Room temperature time about 18-21 C. I think he was feeling cold in his cot bed. He is 6months but he weighs 10kg and he is very strong baby I always checking on him. I think he is safe and improves sleep.”

“I ordered a wool pillow and a bag of extra wool, having previously bought and loved a summer weight wool duvet. Unfortunately, however much wool I removed or added I just didn't find it comfortable. The wool compressed very quickly and I found it too hard. The Wool Room gave excellent customer service and I sent them both back and received a full refund very quickly. I will certainly buy from them again.”
