Had a live chat about an item I wanted I also asked if this item was in stock they said yes , 3 days later I rang to ask about these items and was told out of stock very annoyed as could have ordered from someone else now item has discontinued ,but still accepted my money , won't be shopping again

Hello We're sorry to have misinformed you about the stock level; although it's possible that another customer ordered the last unit in stock before you placed your order. As you used a card for your order, no payment was taken, as this isn't normally done until the parcel is confirmed ready to ship. Kind regards, World of Camping

Very poor. Ordered on line, purchasing process went smoothly and item clearly in stock. Email received to conform this. Free delivery due 3-5 days. After 4 days, I phoned for an update on progress. Told it was out of stock and offered another self inflating mat which I didn't want. No communication prior to this and a weak apology with a the reason being a 'major system failure'. Not impressed and won't be using again.

the item I ordered was out of stock, however my payment was taken and I was told someone would contact me, no-one did and no-one has replied to my e-mail, Not good enough !!!

I was very disappointed in the service I waited 5 days for some form of communication ie goods dispatched etc then i sent an email asking about delivery date NO response proceeded to call customer services only goes to answer phone several times no response to the messages i left I have now discovered 6 fays later goods are out of stock This mow has given me a problem as i required them completely dissatisfied

Hello, Unfortunately the goods ordered were not in stock when the order was placed; this should have been made clear at the point of ordering, and we can only apologise if this was not the case. The Dometic RC1200 Absorption Cooler I ordered claimed to be in stock on the website. But three days later after placing the order I was called to say it was not in stock. Si I had to cancel the order and get it elsewhere. The refund was done quickly, but I was very disappointed that the web info was incorrect - pretty poor show :(

I ordered on 13th July- guidelines say delivery within 5 working days - today is 22nd July that's 7 working days- unreliable- no apology. This review of purchase request was received days ago. I don't recommend buying from world of camping as item not received.

We shipped the parcel on the 16th on an upgraded service - however, it seems that the courier mislaid the parcel before relocating it, scanning it and delivering it on the 22nd. Please accept our apology for the delay to receipt of your order.

Ordered item with next day delivery. 12 days later complained and instead of shipping it as soon as possible they told me it wasn't available. Waste of time and incorrect availability. Received refund but bad experience.

Ordered 2 different pairs of folding chairs. 1st email from you said that you didn't actually have the smaller pair of chairs in stock even though the website said you did, so had to re order for a different colour for those 2. Then, 2 days later, you say that you haven't got 2 of the other chairs that I ordered, even though you confirmed that you had. All of the chairs were due 2 days ago, which I still haven't received. I am currently waiting on an email confirmation to let me know if you are going to URGENTLY send me my 2 different coloured chairs plus only 1 of the 2 other chairs. I was planning on using the chairs today but this catastrophe of organisation has left me chairless for my weekend plans. Not impressed.

I still have not got my order and today cancelled same. I was told it was out of stock but it is still being advertised on line as in stock, i have not received a reply from my e-mail I sent and it took me 2 days to get a reply on the telephone would not recommend this company at all.

Item ordered on 5th July. Wording online is deceptive saying 'item is out of stock but one is on order and shall be reserved for you' only to find the following day when customer services called that this wasn't the case and will in fact be ordered the following day. Was given assurances that it will arrive within 10-13 days (we depart on 23 July). Calling and emailing is futile and after no response have demanded a full refund. Shocking shopping experience and customer service, will never order anything from this incompetent company again!!

My order for various items was placed on the 12th June and anticipated to be delivered 1st class standard. Some 4/5 days later; still waiting, zero information. When I made contact ;was informed that some items were unavailable to despatch, but when supplies were available my order would be despatched. Why was I not informed and why were the available items not despatched with an appropriate explanation. Further delay ensued until the entire order was cancelled on the 24th June due to nil progress. Terrible service; appalling attitude.

We're sorry that there was a delay to contacting you about the out of stock item, and that the item was not restocked as soon as we had hoped. We are always happy to ship part of an order ahead if asked to do so, but this will not be appropriate in all cases.

We bought the pump to inflate out new tent. Out of the box the pump had the green 'fully charged' light on. We took it away with us but the pump only managed to half-inflate our tent. Instructions stated that it takes 15hrs to recharge. Luckily we were rescued by the farmer with a compressor. We sent it back for a refund, and bought a compressor.

While the pump may have partial charge from the box, it is always recommended to charge fully before use for best performance.

While the majority of items displayed as Out of Stock can be restocked within a couple of weeks (sometimes less), this specific item was subject to a nationwide shortage due to the supplier having a prolonged production delay issue. We're sorry to lose your order with us, hopefully you have been able to successfully locate the item elsewhere. Ordered outwell coolbox, paid extra for delivery due on Wednesday, it is now Thursday 13.30 still not arrived. On the way to camp site, no coolbox. Sandra Panton

Hello Sandra, We're sorry this hasn't reached you yet. The parcel was shipped on time with a Next Working Day shipping service, but has been delayed due to a logistics issue with the courier. These were not the cheapest jerrycans on the market, but the size was what I needed. When the item turned up it was not the size specified

Slow to send item,no communication as to when sending item.Bought similar item from another supplier and it arrived next day. If they can can do it why can;t this firm.

paid for item paid for postage then told the price has been put up not my fault they cannot get there pricing correct I will be inquiring to see if this is legal as i had already paid for the item on the web site

The item which was ordered is delivered directly from our suppliers as a dropship item (as an F45 awning makes for a very long package which requires specialist delivery). Unfortunately, the colour which was ordered is no longer available from our suppliers, as such we were unable to provide it for you. This colour was briefly available at a clearance price. It is still available in other colours as advised, but these are at a higher price, as advertised. We did offer to lower the price for an alternative colour as a special concession, and we are happy to hold this offer open for you should you change your mind on cancellation. I placed an order for a camping chair shown as in stock Order 141663 I then recieve an email stating it is not in stock. That leaaves me chasing around to find out if you have taken a payment, refunded my payment or never taken a payment. As it was the first time of placing an order with you I am bitterly disappointed.

You can rest assured that we will not process a card payment for goods until the order is confirmed as ready to ship to the customer. In the event that a Paypal payment is sent to us, we would process a refund immediately upon order cancellation. We're sorry we weren't able to fulfil your order on this occasion: this was due to a stock level update delay at the time of ordering. We're always happy to recommend a similar item as a substitute, or to order further stock from our suppliers, which usually will arrive within a week or two.
