My order for various items was placed on the 12th June and anticipated to be delivered 1st class standard. Some 4/5 days later; still waiting, zero information. When I made contact ;was informed that some items were unavailable to despatch, but when supplies were available my order would be despatched. Why was I not informed and why were the available items not despatched with an appropriate explanation. Further delay ensued until the entire order was cancelled on the 24th June due to nil progress. Terrible service; appalling attitude.

We're sorry that there was a delay to contacting you about the out of stock item, and that the item was not restocked as soon as we had hoped. We are always happy to ship part of an order ahead if asked to do so, but this will not be appropriate in all cases.

We bought the pump to inflate out new tent. Out of the box the pump had the green 'fully charged' light on. We took it away with us but the pump only managed to half-inflate our tent. Instructions stated that it takes 15hrs to recharge. Luckily we were rescued by the farmer with a compressor. We sent it back for a refund, and bought a compressor.

While the pump may have partial charge from the box, it is always recommended to charge fully before use for best performance.

Got an email call to say it wont be available until middle of june as out of stock. Decided to cancel and go elsewhere sorry.

While the majority of items displayed as Out of Stock can be restocked within a couple of weeks (sometimes less), this specific item was subject to a nationwide shortage due to the supplier having a prolonged production delay issue. We're sorry to lose your order with us, hopefully you have been able to successfully locate the item elsewhere. Ordered outwell coolbox, paid extra for delivery due on Wednesday, it is now Thursday 13.30 still not arrived. On the way to camp site, no coolbox. Sandra Panton

Hello Sandra, We're sorry this hasn't reached you yet. The parcel was shipped on time with a Next Working Day shipping service, but has been delayed due to a logistics issue with the courier. These were not the cheapest jerrycans on the market, but the size was what I needed. When the item turned up it was not the size specified

Slow to send item,no communication as to when sending item.Bought similar item from another supplier and it arrived next day. If they can can do it why can;t this firm.

paid for item paid for postage then told the price has been put up not my fault they cannot get there pricing correct I will be inquiring to see if this is legal as i had already paid for the item on the web site

The item which was ordered is delivered directly from our suppliers as a dropship item (as an F45 awning makes for a very long package which requires specialist delivery). Unfortunately, the colour which was ordered is no longer available from our suppliers, as such we were unable to provide it for you. This colour was briefly available at a clearance price. It is still available in other colours as advised, but these are at a higher price, as advertised. We did offer to lower the price for an alternative colour as a special concession, and we are happy to hold this offer open for you should you change your mind on cancellation. I placed an order for a camping chair shown as in stock Order 141663 I then recieve an email stating it is not in stock. That leaaves me chasing around to find out if you have taken a payment, refunded my payment or never taken a payment. As it was the first time of placing an order with you I am bitterly disappointed.

You can rest assured that we will not process a card payment for goods until the order is confirmed as ready to ship to the customer. In the event that a Paypal payment is sent to us, we would process a refund immediately upon order cancellation. We're sorry we weren't able to fulfil your order on this occasion: this was due to a stock level update delay at the time of ordering. We're always happy to recommend a similar item as a substitute, or to order further stock from our suppliers, which usually will arrive within a week or two.

Web site is easy to use and ordering was really straight forward.unfortunately i still haven't recived my order 155186 (uk mail). Uk mail has given me 3 different delivery times on 3 different delivery dates this week...Still no chair..so i have to say taking in consideration the company you use for delivery..The whole experience has been poor.

I ordered a 3-way camping fridge and checked out as a guest. I have had no email confirmation of the order. Six days later the money had been taken from my account. It is now eight days later and I still have not received any notification of my order and the fridge has still not arrived. The fridge is also showing on the website as in stock.

Hello, We're sorry that your experience of World of Camping has been negative - please note that the courier has attempted to deliver your parcel yesterday, and the parcel is out for delivery again today (Thursday 28th). This is in line with the estimated delivery time, taking the bank holiday weekend into account. In the majority of cases delivery is much quicker than this, but at peak times some delays are inevitable where a non-premium delivery service has been selected. You should have received a confirmation email, but we do find that sometimes these messages can be diverted into junk mail folders by email systems. Please also check the email which is associated with your Paypal account, as this will also be used by the courier for tracking and notification purposes. If you will be unable to receive the parcel today, we recommend calling UKMail to advise them of a more suitable time for you. I bought a variety of items from world of camping and have found the overall quality of the products supplied to be sub standard. 1, Item Number 6050. The camping grill/stove broke the first time i used it with the feet falling off and one of the heat adjusting controls coming off in my hand. 2,Item Number 2617 The LED lamp's bracket broke off the first time i hung it up. 3, Item Number 892 GREEN The kettle's whistle came detached from the lid the first time i used it leaving it broken. Overall i found all the products supplied to be of very poor build quality.

Camping equipment is designed to be of light weight, as portability is a significant design parameter for the intended use. Inevitably some items will be more delicate than others, and this will be reflected by the price of the item. We consider that it is important to offer a range of products which include extremely high specification goods ideal for those looking to invest in long-term kit which will last for years, in tandem with simpler products which satisfy basic requirements for short-term needs. However, if items have a production fault or fail in some way which is not caused by improper use or excessive weather conditions, we are always happy to replace or refund, or indeed to help in any other way we can.

To start it was all going well and seems a good online company, then when the items were to be delivered I kept getting texts from the delivery team stating that they couldn't deliver today. Were these items actually in stock! Still not received all items.

Hello, The messages you have received are from the courier UKMail, and not from World of Camping. Our impression is that we have sent all the items ordered out to you, in two separate parcels (as you placed two separate orders with us). these were shipped two days ago and at least one of them has been delivered today. Please contact us on 01209 203220 or at sales@worldofcamping.co.uk to let us know which item or items you have not received - we can then investigate the matter and put it right, if one of the parcels has been delayed or otherwise lost in transit. Items ordered were out of stock, but were still advertised on the internet. Money was debited from my account, nevertheless. Even after I had been sent an email saying the items were out of stock, the advert remained on the internet. Because of this error, I had a total scramble to get the things I needed for my holiday.

We're sorry that you experienced inconvenience on this occasion. One inevitable effect of offering a very wide range of goods is that some popular items will be out of stock from time to time. However, we are constantly ordering and receiving new stock, so there is seldom a long wait for such items, and these will be displayed as Back Ordered at the point of ordering. We don't take card payments until goods are ready to leave us, however if we are sent payment by Paypal this is outside our control. World of Camping

y email me that thing are not in stock and expect people to wait 2 to 3 weeks lol, y not just substitute items such as toilet blue with an email of substituted item. happy days. no going round trying to find the items from else where.

There are often good substitutes available, especially for toilet chemicals, but we must confirm any substitution or alternative for approval, as it would be unethical not to do so. Ordered an item for overnight delivery. Had to chase dispatch notification and was then let down by the carrier ie. the item did not arrive the next day and I was left without it for a weekend family camping trip. Will look for a company with better customer service that uses a reliable carrier in the future!

We're sorry that your order did not arrive in the expected time frame - unfortunately with logistics and transport, things can go wrong sometimes, although this is only in a distinct minority of cases. Our standard practice is to provide tracking info at approximately 5pm of the day of dispatch, which is what happened on this occasion. As detailed on the website, there is also a cut-off time of 1pm for next-day delivery for practical reasons - although we do try our best to get orders placed later than 1pm sent out if we possibly can. No courier is 100% perfect, sometime for reasons beyond even their control, and it does look like you were let down this time - on behalf of our courier we would like to say sorry for this.

I paid for next day delivery but received a message it would not arrive until Monday. When I tried to call the phone number given I waited so long to be dealt with the call was automatically terminated. I called again to be told there were 23 callers ahead of me. The items ordered were for use on Sunday, tomorrow, at a charity event but they are now forecast to arrive a day late and on the very day the Tour de France goes through our town so I doubt they will be delivered then as promised. I shall not use your website again and I shall tell all my friends not to do so either.

Thankyou for your order which was placed late on the evening of Wednesday 02/06/14. We sent this out on Thursday 03/06/14; however, the service you selected when ordering online was not the Next Day delivery option, but the 2-3 day delivery which is less expensive. Fortunately UKMail (despite having an admittedly disappointing phone line at present) were able to deliver on Saturday morning, based on the tracking for your parcel. It would help if your website could reflect what you actually have in stock so as not to waste a customer's time in choosing items that turn out to be unavailable, and then alternative choices which also turn out to be unavailable.

Inevitably when running a large range, not all items will be in stock at all times. However, at the point of ordering, you should see this message if ordering any out-of-stock items: "*We are currently awaiting for this item to arrive into stock, we will reserve this item for you and a member of our team will call you shortly."
