Love the ease argos have made ordering online and collecting in store hassle free,quick conformation,ease with just using a code you receive instead of providing id etc which annoys me at other stores.receight of purchase to your phone and the simple thankyou for your order which other companies over look and send you items you don't want to buy many thanks

Where do I start the orders where they took money and no order went through or the horrendous customer service. I ordered some toys as online was 20% off with toys20 code and I also was emailed a £5 off online voucher if soebd icer £40. I was unsure if would work together but thought would try. To my joy they did so got great bargain on couple of presents for my children. Payment went through but i dudnt recieve order number email or text and my account did not show order. I gave it 30 minutes incase delay. I checked bank and money was being held pending not once but twice!!!! After a long period of time of trying get through on telephone I finally got through to the worst representations I think I have ever encountered from any company I have ever dealt with. He told me was a ghost order so is not actually order as no order number sent. Asked why money taken then not once but twice? Had no reason just something which happens all companys. Said is likely after went through item was then out of stock . I said that is not true as items were still in stock I could place new order I'd wanted but only difference now is wont except both discounts. I said was more likely argos did want honour the discounts so didnt process. He suddenly very dumb said if were excepted be applicable asked him trace order said cant pressed well csn as will be bank transaction with my details etc..... then I was lied to told no way they can trace a payment . Told me ghost orders very common and nothing suspect and argos do no wrong. I suggested if case why with all millions this fixed on websites to not occur. I further asked as no order when my money returned as holding twice he replied not actually been debited only pending so be returned automatically in 48 hours. I asked if was true being a friday as weekend or would have be working days. No no be 48 hours there system automatically cancels it. Argued wrong should be instant take money no order went through I cant purchase toys I wanted as they took all my spare money ! Asked to have details of complaint department as I felt not good enough and if complained argos look into stopping this happening anyone else . He advised myself argos do not have anyone to complain to only him at customer service. No email no address. I told him that was ridiculous all companys have to have complaints department same as they have be accountable to some sort ombundsman? He repeated this was untrue and no complaints department or legal obligation to have one! After realising I had been speaking to a compulsive unhelpful liar I rang my bank. Who firstly confirmed yes funds pending i explained situation and they confirmed firstly that argos could find transactions and cancel with details . Lie number 1. Told me if has been cancelled automatically as he said that bank would pit money straight back in for me but advised in experience they not automatically cancelled and can take days. He said when cancelled takes 10 days to return. So 48 hours lie number 2. Bank checked transactions and had not been cancelled so they could not return funds for me incase I was lying and had actually recieved order number and goods. I do understand this. To further help me to get money back asap they said if I rang back argos and got them cancel their end and explained to me how they could with bank details authorized codes etc and is done when genuine mistakes happen then bank would honour and return money straight away and make me wait 10 days. I was concerned as being charged twice large orders with payments due leave bank I could become overdrawn. So more lies argos 3 that not automatically cancelled they will hold money ages. Friday afternoon I could not get back through argos to help. For reference my mother then ordered the toys perfectly fine using toys20 code but not with my other code. Confirming argos deliberately didnt prices order as were refusing honour discounts and the lie number 5 that was because was out of stock proven. This is disgusting horrendous underhand and how they don't help give you money bank and lie lie lie is disgusting sad as i will not shop with them again . When i had issue Anazon when item genuinely became outstock they reversed charges instantly. So no such thing as cant is clearly wont. Argis you deserve go under it's not so much the ghost order but the lies and not helping appalling customer service you will lose your customers. But you wont know will you as apparently noone can complain as no department for complaints in the company.

My delivery time slot was at 2pm-6pm they tried to deliver my things at 1.30. I was not in till 2pm. They refused to come back during my time slot They have let me down massively. I comtacted then 2 days before my delivery to confirm the delivery time. I was told it would not come before 2.30. They lied to me. They have let me down so badly that I will never shop with Argos again.

Bought a cooker within 7 months the oven stopped working rang to report it now two weeks later still not fixed they are telling me the part is out of stock no time frame as to when it will be fixed I will never buy white goods from argos again

No customer service , no respect for the customer. Management was laughing and giggling behind the counter , not giving out orders. How dissatisfing is this ? Only members working are the employees i.e advisors at argos. I feel so disappointed in this store . I wont be shopping here again and i will be contacting omnibus about this issue and further action will be taking to deal with the behaviours of the managment team. The management team would talk to other customers who were talking about their personal lifes in a public places still continuing to laugh and giggle . Which is also disappointing. I will not shopping at argos Teeside park ever again .

My friend and I visited the store at the Salford Retail Park. My friend Linda wanted to return an online purchase but could not access her email as confirmation of price. To be brief 4 members of the staff Ben, Nathan, Angela and Leanne came to our rescue! I told Ben he was like a Ghostbuster he was that fast sorting it out, he is so computer literate! Leanne went upstairs to access a system that would give her information and Angela kept us updated. Once sorted to full satisfaction, Ben actioned four kettles for my friend to view. ‘Speed’ should be his middle name. My friend consequently bought another kettle and a toaster to match. We are thoroughly impressed and delighted with the customer service given to us. You can see they are all proud to work for Argos and their skills both with products and customer satisfaction are second to none. Big thank you Argos and to the guys for making our day and also for giving us the opportunity of enjoying their fabulous company and expertise. They are four super individuals!

Don't order anything from Argos online. The Live chat is useless - they have no authority to assist , the phone queue system is just an exercise in frustration (2 hours on hold, still couldn't help) and writing to them didn't help either. Basically, if you place an order online and something goes wrong, you're stuffed and Argos couldn't care less.

Terrible customer service on live chat. I placed an order online and the website came up oops something went wrong. But it took my payment. I went on the live chat and was disgusted with the reply. Clearly customer service is poor.

Got an email from Argos saying that they wouldn’t be delivering the item I’ve paid for and could I rescheduled ! I called to reschedule by phone for yesterday and was in all day still no item or email .... never again 🤬

I had ordered 2 x3 seater 1x2 seater so 3 big packages 📦 2 of the 3 seater where brought in to my house then he wanted me to sign the delivery I said where my 2 seater he said no it not on the van I pick my phone up to ring Argos up then start shouting the other driver who was outside in the back lane called in by the name tattooed on his finger strange then he started walking 🚶‍♀️ out of the house 🏠 guess what him and his pal come walking in to my house with my 2 seater nice try pal this has been reported to Argos this happened in October 2019 I have cctv at my home how was he going to get away from this please be aware there are lots of nice Argos delivery 🚚 xxxxx

I ordered a TV on the 27/10/19, was to be delivered the next day 28/10/19 between 1900-2200 for it to have been cancelled due to ‘bad stock’ as it was explained to via live chat after it hadn’t been delivered! my main complaint is that i wasn't informed it had been cancelled via email or a text, horrendous service

No response to complaint even after trying all types of communication even by letter .Would of sorted it through credit card return but unfortunately past 120 dispute time line passed .Now putting it in the hands of the Onbudsman .

Big disappointment 👎🏼 I never had to deal with such a poor customer service department. Managers won’t even try to sort your issue or even pick up the phone. I spent 4 days on the phone trying to get in touch with one of them.They delivered half order to my new address and the other half to my old address because of a mistake made by one of their call centre operators when I added a new item. The customer service guy assured me he added the item to my existing order which had set my current delivery address.I also have a confirmation email with the order, both items confirmed for the same time slot, to my current address. He probably just made a new order instead of modifying the existing one and never confirmed that with me. There is no way for me to get that item unless I call a removal company and it won’t be cheap. The only solution they offered to me is to call the police for theft which it doesn’t make any sense considering the fact that they delivered the item to the wrong address.I never heard such a ridiculous thing and they don’t even try to sort a problem done by them. Customer service was incredibly rude and never pass me the manager on the phone. I thought this is a serious company, definitely not. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I bought an Item that I should not have paid V A T on but I was charged V A T |||||I was promised by Argos Nantwich I would get the VAT back but after 8 EIGHT weeks I have still not rfeceived it No more shopping for me at Argos

Will never order online from Argos again. Ordered a kitchen cabinet, waited over two weeks for it to be delivered and I had no choice of delivery date or time. Because I work I asked them to call 1 hour before delivery to arrange for someone to be there. I was told it's their standared procedure. Got a missed call at 1pm on delivery day, ran out of work to called back at 1.04pm thinking it was the driver but was connected to customer service asking for order number, by the time I went back into office and called back at 1.20pm. I was told the driver had left and I will have to wait for him to contact me and arrange another deliver date. After waiting over 2 weeks. Argos can't expect people to wait at home all day for their delivery. Very annoying.

I have heard so many compliments and actual arguments at Argos in Anlaby Hull it's ridiculous but I found myself in one. The customer service is diabolical, what happened to Argos?????? I will never ever shop at Argos again and neither will my family! I'm so disappointed in Argos, a company I spent thousands in over the years. Bad bad service.

Placed order, received updates and exact time of delivery. I met driver (Alan) at front door of our flat. He was really helpful and polite and made sure my family didn’t see the Christmas gifts I received. He made the whole delivery get a 100% perfect score from me. Well done

Very bad experience after my MSI laptop stopped working. I went to the store and they told me it's not their concern because the insurance policy with Argos is for only 1 year. Second year is covered by MSI which is a ghost. Terrible considering I went with my laptop exactly 1 day after the 1 year insurance expired. I explained to the employee that it stopped working days ago not this morning but... And two months now I wait for MSI service to reply and PAY MY ARGOS CARD FOR A LAPTOP THAT IS NOT WORKING
