I was looking for a 24 inch television. Your website is not up to date ,So you have just lost a customer. Looking for some help with a purchase you are not interested. Glad that you can afford to lose customers. not be using this website again. Your website is rubbish. Tried phoning this company yesterday, they cannot even pick up the phone. Disgusting customer services.

Ordered and paid for a new laptop only for the order to be cancelled by Agros 10min later. Had to wait 7 days for a refund which included £50 worth of vouchers which were now useless to me as I needed the laptop immediately. Customer service unable to help. Gave up with Agros and ordered from Curry's and all good. I wish I'd have selected Curry's vouchers now! £50 out of pocket and lesson learnt I won't use Argos again.

Put items in trolley in stock, went to pay items out of stock!!! Shambles. Won't be buying from argos again! This company won't last very long in today's competitive market.

Sent a faulty dining table, then sent wrong replacement part. then sent said the item is out of stock so having to sent it back despite having half built it. Supervisor refused to speak with me and the person on the phone had a "everything is too much trouble" attitude.

This shop was used to good quality and if the product broke or was low quality you could return it with no issue. Now the quality of their products is very low. Children bike (purchased in December 2021 for christmas gift) is literally falling appart, all pieces are wobbly, steering wheel is unstable, little pieces falling off and Argos wont accept return. Their supplier shifts blames on customer (they say the boke is well worn...3 weeks after purchase... what 2,5 year old can wear off bike after 3 weeks???). It wasn't cheap either, over 100 pounds. Very poor quality service, awful product quality, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!

Failed to deliver my pre order on release date despite their pre order promise to do so. Very disappointed, item now 2 days late. Live chat offered no recompense or help other than "it's with Royal Mail now". Delivery on time is YOUR responsibility!

Ordered a dining table and 4 chair cost £400. Item is poor quality. I arranged a return via chat and was told the item would be collected at 11am the following Monday. The driver showed up early at 7am but wouldn't wait. I was told someone would call me but no one did. Went on chat again, the cs said they don't have access to the trasport dept. Called but put on hold for too long. Tried chat again and when I expained the situation they cut me off. I rang the cs number again, the woman again said they don't have access to the transport dept and I was told they'd call me back. No one called. I called argos again, I explained to some lad who sounded half asleep, that I wanted to arrange a collection. He put me on hold while being transfered, 20 minutes later spoke to someone else who said they were customer services. She then put me on hold for a further 10 minutes whilst being transfered. I explained again the next cs agent who then put me on hold and I was on the loop back to the start were i was being asked automated questions then got cut off. I've been trying to arrange a collection for the past week. What is so difficult about arranging a collection at the correct time given? Why do the customer service agents not have access to the contact details of the transport department? Totally incompetent, you've wasted my time and I am determined to return this order. Following this review. I was advised to contact argos via facebook messenger and a cs advisor assured me a collection was booked in today (Thursday). However, they could not give a timeslot apart but was told i'd have to wait in between 7am and 6pm. I waited 10 hours and no calls or text. No one came. So it took 10 days to book a collection and wasted 11 hours of my time waiting in. Totally useless. It's now been passed to the resolution team and may not be resolved until next week now. It shoulld have been resolved 10 days ago.

# AvoidArgos .... My advice is, do not get an Argos Card ! Why ? They charge you £12 if you miss a payment, even if you tried contacting them, they effectively call you a liar and refuse to remove the charges. 40 years a customer, never again Argos are a disgrace in my opinion, if i could rate the company a minus score i would. #AvoidArgos

Online ordering is awful. 'In stock" is pointless. It's means there's one, SOMEWHERE. Usually 100miles from the nearest town. Can deliver to one post code but not another? Need a better delivery system. Told online to 'order in your local store' - that staff in my local store had no idea how to do this. Website is poor and glitchy. Staff in store however have always been very helpful.

PayPal card !!!!! LUKE decided to come intimidate me with his aggressive, unprofessional approach with his chest out showing who's in charge .. BADBOY will get him self in trouble if he acted this way outside. No SIR no nothing , just are you waiting for a refund I said are you talking yo me he replied who else do you think I'm talking too ... need to act your position with professionalism and at times give an apology , but let all your staff know there is NO PayPal cards ..

You need a good clear out with rude and bad mannered staff who lack excellent communication and listening skills, does Argos employ inexperienced staff members that only know how to say no, they have no experience in dealing with customers who need to return an item that is faulty, have no general knowledge of there own terms and conditions and like to make stuff up in there little peanut brains, if a customer wants to return a faulty item they have the right to do so, can’t say just because the box has been opened you can’t return it, the disturbed staff member who looks miserable and lacks confidence didn’t know what to say after coming up with ridiculous statements, his breath was really bad behind the mask, smelled of saliva mixed with faeces, the staff member was talking rubbish so it explains why his filthy mouth was smelling, people like him that makes Argos a nightmare , either Argos steps up and trains it’s staff properly or shut down your stores, no good hiding in Sainsbury’s now or is this ur last move before you actually shut down your stores , if you can’t sort ur staff out then I hope omicron puts you out of business !!!

Yesterday the delivery man from Argos delivered 3 big parcels when there was actually 5. When I called him to ask him were the other 2 was he said its not his problem to call Argos. When he delivered them I was at work and my husband was at home with our 3 year old. The driver called me at work and told me to come down and help him take the boxes to our flat on 2nd floor (lift available) I told him I was at work and my husband can't leave our 3 year old unattended in the flat its against the law. He became rude and aggressive and started threatening me telling me he will leave my order on the side of the street. When I explained to him not to do that since I paid for them £350 +order) he said that wasn't his problem. I literally begged him not to leave them on the street and my son needs his new bed, he has eczema. Again the driver told me its not his problem. I explained to him if he was unavailable to deliver heavy goods why didn't he organise with his manager to have 2 delivery man? I told him my husband did not sign up for this job and he cant leave our 3 year old unattended. The delivery man just wouldn't understand and continued threatening me. I feel bad for my 3 year old he was so excited about his new bed only to be disappointed since 2 parcels (part of the bed) was not delivered and on top we threw his old bed away. When the driver delivered the 3 out of 5 boxes he was rude to my husband, mouthy and he was in a great rush to leave when my husband asked where is the other 2 boxes, the driver didn't response, just left.

I purchased some furniture for delivery 2 weeks later, which was today. Argos has refused to uphold their end of the deal by delivering any of the furniture to me, and they have also failed to refund my money. I do think I am entitled to receive either my money back or the furniture I paid for. The manager I spoke to (Jacob) was rude and hostile from the beginning and he seemed to take great delight in telling me that there is literally nothing I can do about this, and I will just have to wait until they are ready to give my money back to me. He seemed to really enjoy the thought that I have been put in a difficult position where I won’t have any furniture over Christmas, and no money to buy any from somewhere else. Also, Jacob told me that the only way to escalate my complaint is to write a letter to head office and send it via the post, as they have neither an email address or a telephone number! I don’t know what kind of a service Argos is attempting to provide, but I think it’s safe to say they have failed.
