DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM ARGOS We placed an order yesterday and paid extra to receive it on the same day! We waited all day at home and didn’t receive anything then had to phone Argos today to see where my item is and they said we delivered it to you and we’ve got your signature. I explained over and over to them that I haven’t received the item and asked them to pick the item up from where ever they left it and they said we delivered to yourself and we take our drivers word over yours. I managed to chase the item out myself and found it way further than my house in a completely different address. I asked for the person who received my item to write a note to prove they received my item not me. Where argos was so sure that they sent it to the right address and they were very unhelpful and gave me such a poor service! I felt rubbish and never would buy from them ever again!! Their customer service is very rude

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Argos Stores The issue that I have experienced was: We purchased the robot hoover on the 12 of jan it is not working correctly and my husband returned it to Argos in morecambe. He spoke to Vicky Good who was rude and suggested that after trying it in the back for 2 mins that there was nothing wrong with it. Obviously she is not an engineer and we are the ones that have attempted to use it. We wish to return it. It occurred on: 19/01/2019 We want a refund and an apology from Vicky Good who accused my husband of lying.

Not generally a great fan of Argos - had some poor experiences previously, but have to speak in praise of the staff at the Bangor, N Wales branch. There was a pleasant, calm atmosphere there and when I had to return an item they listened to my explanation courteously and sympathetically and without question provided a refund. It makes all the difference to be treated with respect and even smiled at - other branches should take note!

Went online to purchase a watch for my son for Christmas. I had a gift card typed in the code and went on to pay the remaining balance, then the website crashed. But payment had processed and for some reason charged me twice. I had no confirmation so the booming didn't go through despite them using my card and taking money from my bank twice! So I'm left with a voucher I can't use and I'm money down with no watch. Called them and they said someone will get back to me within 24 hours to refund the money taken from my bank and send me another gift voucher. After a week I called them was on hold for 35 minutes then the lady said someone would call me back that day. Nobody called back. Called again 3 days later to be told the same , she had emailed the refunds team and they would call me back. They did not! Iv been waiting over a month now, no calls, no refund. Absolutely disgusting, bad customer service, and theifs. I won't be shopping at Argos anymore.

Ordered a wardrobe that was damaged when it arrived. Delivery driver did not stop to check it despite pointing out the damage to the box. I did an online chat and the person offered me a replacement the next day but simply refused to offer me a 2 hour delivery slot so I could be there to take delivery. Despite me pointing out this was solely caused by Argos and I had waited in, and maybe a little extra customer service might not go amiss, as I was not asking them to do anything other than delivery within a certain time frame. I now have another week to wait for my item. Motto of this story, if it seems cheap there's probably a reason for it !!

Nothing is ever available for delivery in my area or in store in all the argos' within 15 miles of me. I wouldn't mind but I don't exactly live in a remote location, I must have tried to order at least 15 things and 1 has been available for me to buy.

Not even worth the one star I have to give to write this. Bought an iron in october 2017, not cheap at £59.99 but you would surely expect it to last longer than 15 months. Take it back to the shop, no interest, "nothing to do with us, contact the manufacturers". I thought my contract was with the shop who sold me a product which to my mind should last a bit longer than 15 months. Called the manufacturers and they were even less helpful, so whatever you do DO NOT BUY A BREVILLE DIAMOND 3100w STEAM IRON FROM ARGOS. Always check other stores, even if the initial cost is a little more, if something goes wrong you will probably get more sense and sympathy.

Disgusting service from argos online. I ordered a fridgefreezer for my 89 year old grandma. The first delivery they said they couldn't get the van up the street even though when I ordered from Currys a few weeks later they parked there van at the bottom of the street and wheeled the fridgefreezer up. So I don't know why argos delivery men couldn't of done that?! The second time I waited 3 hours for delivery to be told they couldn't deliver and it would be the next day instead. The third delivery was the worst Even though they are meant to ring a nour before delivery, they rang 40 minutes before saying they would be there at 9.30am I told them it was my grandmas house and that I was on my way round, I got there at 9.20am to see Argos driving off up the street. I went into my grandmas who is 89 years old and gets very confused she said she had Told them she didn't know about a fridgefreezer so they had gone! I rang them straight away and they wouldn't come back even though they where round the corner. They then put the phone down on me I rang again and they just kept putting the phone down. I rang argos Direct and they kept putting me on hold then cutting me off this happened about 10 times. They left my grandma without a fridgefreezer 2 days before Christmas! Ive never had such disgusting treatment from a big company before. I cancelled my order and will never be ordering from Argos again.

I returned a jumper which I used my 9.99 voucher when I spent over £100. Said to the lady when I returned it that I paid by my voucher, so she said I would receive a refund within 5 days. Heard nothing and done a live chat. Apparently you don't get a REFUND on the voucher. Well if that was the case why did the staff member tell me I did and I wouldn't have returned it to argos and gave it away to a homeless person or charity. Need to train your staff ARGOS on the vouchers as they are a big part of your promotion. I only bought the tablet from you to get the voucher. Lady who returned my item wasnt very pleasant either. It would have been zero stars if I could and won't be shopping in there again.

Worst company ever. I never been treated so poorly, rude and worst staff I ever met in my life. I bought an item which was faulty, I wanted a refund. They didn't want to refund me the money or exchange it, saying that was my problem. I been through hell in order to get a refund. Don't buy anything from Argos.

YET AGAIN I find that my local store does not have the item I wish to buy (816/2816) despite it being highlighted in your literature. None of the surrounding stores have it either. Why advertise items when you do not have them in stock?

Item ordered online to the one of Argos stores. I was waiting long time and after that PayPal sent info that Argos refund my payment. I visited the relevant store a few times, even the last day when the delivery was planned. Always was informed that there is nothing for me and I need to wait for email with delivery confirmation. I did not received any email from Argos. They just cancelled my order as they said the collection window for it has been closed. Item never arrived to the store. I contacted Argos via live chat. They said that I should go to this store and ask them what happened and I can make order again. If similar situation will occure again I can contact the again. No more shopping at Argos. Waste of time.

placed order on the 06/01/2019 received confirmation receipt telling me item will be delivered on the 07/01/2019 between 7am and 6pm. Great booked day off work told my daughter when she comes up next weekend she will have her new bed. (wrong thing to do will not fall for that one again} sat in waiting then about 1pm contacted live chat as i needed to pop out to confirm that driver will phone me an hour before delivery only to find out there is no order. So after getting passed from one to another was told to contact this number 0345 640 2020 got through to be told what i already knew asked to speak to a manager to find out what went wrong, was supposedly being put through when i was hung up on. Great so phoned again { plenty of time on my hands as i took the day off} finally got through to manager where i did get my answers. Money had not been taken so its stuck in the middle of nowhere for the next 7 days at least, i will not be getting my item unless i reorder {which i am going to have to do as i promised my little girl} even though i had received my receipt confirming delivery. So i am going to have to take another day off this is turning into a very expensive bed. Beware when you order online your receipt confirming delivery etc is only a generic email [so i was told] the only way to be sure your order is coming is to phone.

I would have put zero but it would not let me. My partner was given a Argos gift voucher onnn 27th December which ran out on 1/1/2019. On the 30th of December we went to Argos, in Sainsbury’s Newcastle under Lyme staffs. She chose a pair of gold earrings. They told us they would fetch them in from Argos , Festival Park stoke on Trent . We passed her the voucher and a £10 not to cover the additional cost. She told us it was ok and pay when we collected .we went to collect on the 2/1/2019, amazingly the same girl said we were too late as the voucher had run out. I stated that she had not let us use it on the 30th which was when it was still in date. Straight away I rang customer service, after a long debate customer service agreed to reimburse £10, which was the value of the voucher. She told me to ring back in 3 days to ensure it had been done. So 3 days later I rang your customer service, to my shock he said it had not been reimbursed and he would not do so, eventually I got him to put us through to another dept . I got the same attitude that it was out of date, again I told them it was use prior to the date . They said no transaction date could be found so I said what about the text we recieved saying we could now go pick it up , he checked the number and agreed that was correct. Again I asked that we should be reimbursed. He replied that Argos were not obliged to do so. So I said, not obliged means you can buy you will not. Obviously we got nowhere and that’s why I would give you zero not 1 if allowed . ,ms MA Apostol
