Horrible service at the Doncaster frenchgate store. The coloured lady on tills is rude and aggressive and speaks to other staff with a really bad attitude she’s awful I’d hate to work with her. The young girl with red hair was lovely and the coloured lady just nasty

Awful company. Meant to deliver between 7am and 6pm yesterday so took a day off work. Then get a text saying it willl be late up to 9pm. Then it didnt turn up. Some rubbish about the driver being sick, they first tried to say they had told me then quickly retracted that when i called them liars. Now wont go the extra mile to get me a delivery slot where i am at home as i cannot take an extra day off. Absolute rubbish.

complaint concerning your manager at the Spalding store. An atrocious bully of a manager bringing Argos into disrepute and refusing to comply with consumer protection laws. Had a few problems with this same jerk of a manager in the past. The staff are terrified dealing with the chump. Latest incident we bought a kiddies rocket, great item but made of polystyrene and obviously broke on first use. It goes up it comes down its hardly rocket science. manager accused us of lying and said it was broken through abuse. We shall now be making an official complaint to Argos head office about this bully and also trading standards and if required the small claims court. We will also be boycotting Argos after 20yrs of shopping there because they honour their obligations, or used to. Another great British brand going to the dogs. There is ZERO complaints process for argos and customer services dont answer any emails. Best try complaining to their owners who are now sainsburys.

Bought a day bed - only half has been delivered. The service is the worst I have ever experienced. 6 weeks on and after numerous phone calls, 4 day off to receive the rest of the product the issue remains unresolved. Everyone on the phone is restricted, escalation is difficult, managers are unhelpful and all I am told is you have 2 options continue to wait or take £50 off to close the matter. I have asked to speak to more senior managers and have been given the PO Box number to write to -wow. In to day's age to write to a PO Box. I was finally given a email address to which I've written twice with no result. Also placed a review which was not published because Argos policy is not to comment on their customer service. Would not recommend Argos to anyone.

I have bought 2 things from this store costing £400 altogether items broken and malfunction and they refuse to even change and gave numbers to get in touch with manufactures everything in argos these days brake and even with a 12 months guarantee they won't change an item that's broken in 1 month after purchase I'd advise people to stop shopping in argos because it's a joke and they are ripping people off with dodgy products and flat out refuse to change argos use to be good but these days they are robbers and never again am in shopping in any argos store and I strongly advise others not to shop at argos go somewhere else also the customer service team are arrogant and rude and refuse to help it's a joke and is discusting takin peoples money like this and refusing to have anything to do with broken items

I bought an Atlas Grey Gloss CORNER unit from Argos. Took the day off work and hired a joiner to put the wardrobe together for me as I can’t do things like that. The joiner soon realised that a lot of the pieces were missing so I called Argos Customer Services to find out what was going on. I spoke to a man called Jacob who was very obnoxious and rude. He refused to give me his surname and demanded that nothing could be done as the corner wardrobe wasn’t a corner wardrobe as advertised and that there was nothing he could do. I asked for a full refund and that will happen once they collect the item back. I took a day from work, paid a joiner and had to deal with an obnoxious staff member. Do not order from Argos!! Absolutely shocking customer service!! How they can advertise a corner wardrobe and not send that is beyond me. Turns out someone else has had the same issues as me as they said that I’d already complained on the Tuesday but I didn’t because I only received the wardrobe on the Wednesday. That must have been another customer.

ABSOLUTLEY SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETURNS POLICY, Argos do not care about customer satisfaction. I purchased a tv and it was faulty, returned it and got an exchange no problem. However the same make and model tv had the same fault, I called Argos to tell them about the fault and was told to return the tv, and i would be entitled to a refund or exchange. So I returned it again, this time to be refused a refund or exchange, because it falls out of their 30 days return policy. I was then told my only option was to have them send it away for repair, and this could take up to 16 days, 10 days later I've heard nothing, not even an update of any kind. I have made several calls expressing my dissatisfaction with all of this, and have been continuesly told different thing by Argos, nothing has been resolved, all I wanted was a refund on a faulty tv that was only 2 months old and well within warranty. You DO NOT get the same customer rights at Argos as you do with AMAZON or ASDA and other retailer's. Just remember if you purchase something from Argos and it is faulty or developes a fault, it is not as simple as returning the item like at most other good retailer's. They do not care about their customer's, and I will not be buying from Argos again, and would seriously advise others not to.

Please don't ever collect the Argos card it is used to reap you off your hard earned money especially if you are the type who don't check your balance regularly. I was charged £32 extra for a £85 balance which I actually paid two days late according to them but for bank delays. I am paying them off asap and shedding the stupid card to pieces.

Bought a pair of beats by dre head phones two pair costing me £200 on a deal, on getting these and finally trying them out a couple weeks later i find the product of poor quality for the high price, the volume is not good at all and very low when at its full, i could still hear background noise over them when in use i found it very frustrating with my mental health issues to use and wanted to return, but due to being used and being just a week outside the date for returns im refused this which i find an outrage, i explained i took the time to complaint to who i thought i had to go to about this issue and went to beats who ended up ignoring my messages and emails i then tried to speak to apple who found out have bought them from beats, i tried to talk about the issue and they ignored me too, when i finally gave up and found my receipt which i couldnt find it at the start of it all and wanted to return them and save the frustration and disappointment. but in trying to do this ive been refused and pushed away like my custom means nothing. this is not my only issue ive had in past with argos so this kind of adds to things and makes me no longer want to shop there. i have mental health issues and this is effecting my autism and Asperger's, i tried to raise complaint about this with argos and they dont want to know and have brushed this to the side not wanting ton resolve it forced to seek 3rd party help. ive lost a lot of faith with argos recently and think they have gotten bad lately, ive had many returns due to faulty products had complaints about how i was treated in store on occasions, ill be staying away from argos now. they have taken advantage of a vulnerable person here and this is whats made me cross. they dont seem to care less i have mental health issues which can impair how i act and go about things daily.

I've been a loyal customer now for 10 years plus using the Argos store card, and by error for the first time I missed my payment by 9 days, consequently having a heavy interest added. My request to have this waivered due to loyalty and value of purchases made was dismissed instantly with a well its your fault, so tough luck. I escalated and now after 3 emails over a month and no response finally called today and got through to Rachel who has lied regarding receiving the emails stating she only received one and was just getting around to replying! Understand my error, but expected more from such a big company, but maybe that's where the big boys are failing and falling from our high street, as the service is not to the level you'd expect. Paid now and closed my account, so taking my business elsewhere.

Argos failed to deliver my mum's order THREE times. THREE times! She waited each time, and no one even informed her that the item wasn't going to arrive. How is that possible? She's wasted 2 days waiting for her items. Only good thing is that it's quick to get through to Argos on LiveChat, but it's completely pointless at the same time because they can't solve the problem. The only thing they suggest is rebooking the item! Well.. there's no 4th time lucky here. Statistics would suggest that the 4th time isn't going to succeed either. 0% success rate. 1. Why is the item able to be rescheduled when it obviously can't be delivered? 2. Why aren't we informed when the delivery fails? 3. Why can't the help desk do anything about it other than suggesting rebooking it for failure again? 4. Who's going to compensate my mum for her two wasted days? 5. We needed two emergency guest beds which we now don't have. What do we do? Thanks for nothing Argos. Suggestion to everyone: Don't buy from Argos unless you don't mind the items never arriving. Your very specific 3 hour delivery slot means nothing.

Fridge Freezer - crack on door. After trying every avenue to get through first by phone then by chat - i was referred back to a telephone number for white goods that told me i needed an authorisation code and put me back on hold and in cues for the same number that was for TVs Tec-support and more passing the buck. 1 HOUR later a gentleman finally helped my and called me back to say that Argos would not deal with any fault claims on an item 7 months old and i would need an independent report - as it was cosmetic. Cosmetic when the most used part develops a crack - i don't think so! Well done Argos for wasting my Saturday morning..

Argos home retail Group. I took out a loan in 2004 they tried to tell me that I decided to take advantage of the repayment protection insurance. As this company wasn’t regulated until the 14th of January 2005 hey are happy to refuse upholding complaint. has no evidence of me deciding to take this product on I believe it was just added to the policy. Tried to tell me that I had 30 day right of cancellation which I did but this was given to me after sale which is standard practice with PPI This was offered on St Andrews insurance paper work. As I cannot take resolution through the financial ombudmen service it is now being referred to a Small Claims Court in due course.

Appalling service and follow up. Waited all day for a delivery of a unit for the kitchen, it did not arrive. No phone calls,no text nothing i rang they said the van had a transmission fault. They said they would deliver up to 10pm when I rang. That did not happen.. Rang the following day early to find out when it would be delivered they said in 6 more days and that was my only choice. The person I spoke to said I was moaning. I asked to speak to a supervisor he said they wouldn’t come. Still waiting for the item. !!!!!!
