bought a 55invh TV which I hired a van to collect. Took it home and there was a clicking noise. Argos customer service told me to return it back to the store where they would replace. Other retailers would have repaired or replaced the item at your home. Argos don't offer this service which is shame because buying large items from them becomes to high of a risk considering that most Argos stores are deep inside town centres where car parks are quite far.

Awful awful customer service. Purchased a sofa in September 2015, the cushions have now gone soft and thin, despite "dressing" them every day. The worse part of the sofa was that underneath there is a foot missing and all that is left behind is a bent thick screw, the sharp bit has been exposed and scratched our engineered wood floor. This sofa hasn't been moved since it was delivered, but I decided to clean behind it a couple of days ago and that's when I discovered the problem. Contacted Argos who arranged for an Engineer to come out and he has reported back to Argos to tell them it's not a Manufacturer defect. How is it not a Manufacturer defect? There is a major part missing! And we have the proof and the bent screw. Going to have to go through more channels to get this resolved.

will never make another online purchase with this company , customer service is appalling , ordered a bed inc h/board , had botched delivery because they had an older phone no registered though we gave correct no on the order paperwork . that rapidly became the reason for delivery guys to be stressed , ending in incorrect procedure when signing for delivery , we were not told it was our responsibility to count items , of which one ( headboard was missing . result we were told later that we had signed for 4 items (only had 3 on the day) have been treated like criminals ever since ( no headboard received ) BE WARNEDmike Cox

Tried phoning Patrick branch in Glasgow! Wanted to amend a order to buy two TVs instead of one. Was on the phone for 15 minute's no answer, tried another two times. I have now purchased the TV's from currys.

The worst company to deal with. There customer service is non-existent. They do not read your emails when you make a complaint and fobe you off!! Argos should look at other retailers like John Lewis. The worst retailer

ref;15703834 I purchased a patio set 2 yrs ago, the description stated it was weather resistant, can be left outside all year, made from steel with ED coating and Rust Resistant. The patio set has now rust appearing all over as the coating is peeling off. I have sent 2 letters with photos of the rust stating I do not expect a full refund but some payment I can use towards another patio set as this is clearly a manufacturing defect. Your reply was I should get a written report from a qualified professional related to the product. I have tried several garden centres even a metallurgist and guess what, nobody will do this. I am very disappointed with Argos a brand I use a lot. John Alley

Received a prompt delivery today order made day before, paid extra as a fridge freezer is a must, the drivers just dropped the delivery, item not checked as was still in full wrapping,and went, as i was at work my son took delivery but there could have been a fault with it, when ordering products Argos states items to be checked and if not satisfactory you do not accept and the delivery drivers take away so my concern is the correct policy and proceedure as stated by Argos is not being followed through, and we should not have to dispose of the packaging, so hence the item was dumped at the door and left

I was at Doncaster Wheatley hall Road and I could not find what I was looking for so I asked a young lady lindsey was her name for help and she found wot I was looking for as my daughter has been in a car crash and will never walk again she pointed out all the home help in the book and found everything I needed one less thing for me to worry about she then went round and served me at the till so I wasn't waiting great customer service couldn't ask for anything better

Staff have no brain and awful customer service. Went Argos gallows corner, bought a steriliser. Lady serving says would you like to add bottles to that for £16. I replied are they the black ones? She replied the computer doesn't say, I asked what size are they? Her response, it doesn't say. I then said does it say the size of them, to which you can guess her saying, the computer doesn't say! I then said any chance you can find out? Her reply, no one will know any different! My response was, well I guess il say no to the bottles then thank you very much! Absolute joke!

waited two weeks for cooker to be delivered ...gave me a time of between 7am and 9am the delivery came at 7am without the cooker....I went on chat and the girl said this was just a provisional time and it could still arrive even though the delivery guy told me it wasn't on the load....11 I got a call to say it wasn't coming due to shortage of delivery drivers so we agreed on a refund which she said would be in my account within the hour it wasn't so again on chat to be told the refund wouldn't show in my account for 48 hours....I was at no point treated like a valued customer more of a burden I do not find argos customer friendly and will not be shopping with them again

Purchased a zoostorm computer when it arrived it was damaged inside parts moving about sent it back 13 days ago hear nothing since i will be asking for a refund now.a terrible service

I was very impressed with my visit to the Argos store in Runcorn yesterday. I bought a desk and the young gentleman who served me advised me that it was very heavy and cheerfully offered to take it on a trolley and put it in my car for me. Well done Tom and thank you!

The staff in the Hunters Row, Stafford store was most pleasant with exceptional service by the assistant Pat , who was extremely helpful. Quality products from a professional company.

Cost of item purchased in store was more expensive than online plus when I tried to contact store it was either automated or rang for 5 minutes and no answer

Firstly I had to wait a month for delivery, then on the day if delivery it didn't arrive I didn't even get a call to say it wouldn't be. Then after ringing Argos I was told it would be deliverd the following day , but it wasn't,then I was told it would be another week for delivery,, after explaining the inconvenience of waiting yet another week, I was told it would be delivered the following day only to be given the wrong fridge freezer. I only ordered the frost free fridge freezer from Argos as I couldn't get the one I wanted anywhere else. The one that was delivered I could have got over a month ago from anywhere and more to the point it's so small I could have got it in my car. I will never use Argos again

Waited all day for a delivery to be told it had been delivered and no one was in at the wrong address so was dumped in the garden the driver took a picture of it in the garden so proved it wasn't my house waited for a replacement next day still not here ! Customer service on the call was good however but delivery was crap

We ordered 2baby elegance prams from Argos for great grandchildren after a few months just 1of the prams developed a fault,phoned Argos in the evening,next day had call from suppliers of. Prams and to our delight replacement arrived from Dublin,2days later!now that's what I call brilliant service!!
