Argos online is impossible to use! I got a voucher from Sainsburys to use, can't find anywhere to input the code at the checkout and the customer service chat was no help! Cancelled the order. Every time I use Argos online there is and issue. I am off to the Range to buy what I need!

Kieran McLaughlin Argos west Belfast andersonstown manager was called Cath hi i bought a dash cam off you today and asked for a memory card to suit it but when i returned home it wasnt a micro card but id already opened it thinking it was the card carrier,,, i returned to the store in andersonstown west belfast and explained this to the assistant but realizing he wasnt gonna help i asked to speak to the manager who was brushing the floor and was upset she was disdurbed her name was Cath,,,,she had an extremely condescending attitude, and refused a refund saying it was opened but i explained this was the card i was sold for the dash cam,,,,i would like to complain firstly about this girls attitude and would like a refund for first sd card i bought,, the training these people had was atrocious and was told id need to come back on monday to talk to someone else,,, kieran mclaughlin

I returned a dolls pram as one of the hoods was bent. ( very noticibly). Assistant told me no more in stock in North West and gave a refund. That evening I found one in same shop ( Runcorn Cheshire) ordered it and picked it up today. Lo and behold it was the same pram with the faulty hood ! I once again got a refund. Surely its unfair to put faulty goods back on sale for someone else to buy? Assistant wasn't very pleasant either . Definitely none of the old " customer us aways right " about her !

Scammers, discriminatory treatment Scammers, discriminatory treatment After 35 years of using Argos it will be the last time I use them. Argos have been discriminatory against me and have conned me into buying evouchers knowing I can’t use them. I will be seeking legal redress for this treatment. Miss Thomas

I was not satisfied because it is very small. I wanted to exchange it for a bigger one, but I had a big surprise. The employees said that it is not possible. I do not recommend Argos.

Purchased an Apple Watch Ultra from Argos, as I didn't want to wait 2 weeks for it to come from Apple (huge mistake, I should've waited). Once received, I realised the watch was way too big for my wrist, and wanted to return it. Mind you the device was just tried on, with all the accessories and original packaging. Went to Argos at Crown Point in Leeds to return it, but to my surprise my return was refused, due to the item being unsealed. The lady who I dealt with was pronouncing resealable, resalable, and when I realised this, I decided to submit my return request online and have the item collected. I've been told to wait in my office until 9 in the evening, but the item wasn't collected. Called on Saturday to re-arrange a collection, Monday I've waited in my office until 7 in the evening, the driver, again, did not come to collect the package. After 6 calls with Argos customer service, 3 live chat interactions, 2 store visits, I am still waiting for the item to be collected. If you were in my shoes, would you ever buy from Argos ever again? I don't think so. A complaint will be filed with trading standards for not accepting the return for an item that was in line with their return requirements. I am running a small e-commerce company, and we accept unsealed items for return, but apparently, Argos does not. Shame on you Argos!

I Ordered a single bed which on the order confirmation stated delivery Between 7:30am/9pm on a indicated date. The item was not delivered and no communication was given to advise me on this. Calling customer service the experience was very poor with the advisor who did not have a lot of information on the order, and I had to push to get an update and this took me over 30 minutes on the phone. On my experience I will no longer order any large items from Argos again.

Do not buy in store and open your product if you are looking for a refund! Purchased a smart watch last night, unboxed&set up but changed my mind. Took my brand new Purchase back today with all relevant packaging and accessories to be told could not be returned because it had been used?!had I known this information at the point of sale there'd have been no way I'd gone through with purchase. I rang head office and spoke to a very obliging and friendly girl explained what had just happened in the shop when I'd gone to return, she reassured me I had well within my rights to a refund, was on hold for a while and when she came back I thunk she was as dismayed as myself at the policy it was as though she was actually shocked also. She went on to tell me that if I'd make exactly the same purchase online I'd have had a full refund?make that make sense?! I took a smart watch back to curry's last year that I'd had a change of mind with and had absolutely no issues with them refunding me for? Very very dissapointing!I'll get on the phone tomorrow with consumer rights. Ridiculous!!!!

You stated a item was in the store,i paid for item in good faith it was for a birthday present that afternoon, i drove 10 miles to pick it up to be told was not arriving at store until 4pm or when ever it arrives, you take 7 days to refund on a card and 30 if paid by pay pall, what a absolute con you could have said before i paid you that it was not in the store, you must be desperate for money. I will never use you lying tricking store ever again.

DON'T TAKE ANYTHING ON THE CREDITS WITH THEM. FIRST, THEY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE BANK AND START TO STRESS PEOPLE. THEY DO NOT SEND IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PAYMENT, THE BANK IS CALLED BY SOME EYE PEOPLE WHO HAVE A PRETENTION THAT THEY FAILED TO COMPLETE IMPORTANT THINGS, AND FINALLY WILL REQUEST REQUESTS SET AUTOMATICALLY BY THEM.

Been living in our front room due to building work the last 14 weeks but needed a cot set for our newborn. Couldn’t put it up for two months due to the building work, just found out that the mattress is too small (still in wrapper). Spent over £1000 with Argos in this order so thought they wouldn’t mind an exchange, but nope! The online agent promised a management call back which didn’t happen. Called today, kept on hold for 30 minutes while the team leader did anything they could to not take the call. Eventually ‘Paul’ took the phone (said no one would have called me back because it was outside the 30 days and stuttered when I asked why his advisor said that one would and I would hope that a management call back is the very very basic backbone of any half decent business) but couldn’t wrap his head around the issue. Have to be honest the call in question would be comical to listen too 🤣 Asked for escalation process and his full name, which he refused to give (not sure what he thought I was going to do with it). It wouldn’t actually surprise me if he lied about it. Never ever going to buy here again, awful company!! I remember when I was younger they even got banned from having work experience students because they just used them for slave labour. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere that at least give some better customer service like a slap round the face every time you buy something. Update in regards to their comment: If they valued their customer and had an ounce of compassion or business sense, they’d realise how stupid they are. What makes this van worse is that they do this all the time! Check out your local FB and you’ll see so many people they’ve mugged off!! BOYCOT ARGOS

Ordered an exercise bike to help recover from a broken ankle on the 29th July, delivery stated as between 3-5 days. First call from DHL driver said he didn’t have my Eircode so couldn’t deliver. Second call from DHL on Tuesday last 16th August said delivery would be between 7.30am and 6pm, waited in all day, phone in hand, no delivery,no phone call, nothing. Worst companies, both Argos and DHL I have ever had the misfortune to deal with!! Avoid at all cost!

If you are the last delivery and it’s a trek from previous one they just say you weren’t in and try again tomorrow. This is human nature but the fact that they can get away with it is down to poor management. And they think they can compete with Amazon!

i ordered 2 x laptops with screens from Argos website, the collection was from a local sainsburys in bethnal green and stated 2 x 2 items (i.e the laptop x 2 and the monitor x 2), however when i went to pick up the items only 1 x laptop and 1 x monitor (i.e 2 items ) were handed over as the order stated 2 items only. this was clearly an opportunity to exploit the system by the sainsburys local staff as they only handed over 2 items both attached to each other in the form 1 laptop and 1 ,monitor meaning i was misisng 1 x laptop and 1 monitor . i tried several times to complain in store and to speak with argos customer services but each time was given the run around and got nowehere. i'm now £400 down, having been ripped off by a huge corporation a completely shocking customer experience. I would recommend to never collect from Sainsburys local especially bethnal green, as i'm convinced the staff know the whereabouts of this laptop...
