Bought a TV for son for Christmas. To find out on Christmas morning that it has a badly broken screen. Then to go back to the Argos that it was bought in.To have the manager tell us that we broke it.Then to phone Argos and told that someone would phone back within 24 hours then to phone again the next day to be told another 24 hours then one hole week later to phone a different number to be put through to someone who said she was a high as we could go.That she had phoned the shop were we bought it from and she had said the manager said we broke it.Never have I ever had such a bad experience with a shop in all my life.will never again shop in Argos they will never get my or my familys money again. And I will be telling as many people about this as I can .

The manager she is racist, insensitive and rude. I had to return a product and it refused me under the pretext that it was used (although it was in perfect condition, not used, without signs of wear). I had to go to another store where they accepted the product without problems.. it's not the first time I've experienced something like this with her. it is the most disgusting store

I was served by two different members of staff in the Warrington Church Street branch. Both members of staff had terrible customer service. The queue was very long and all staff were on tills not giving out items to people waiting to collect them. I asked politely if someone from the back could pass me my items as they had been sat there 20 minutes whilst I queued and paid. Her response was very abrupt. Within minutes my items were given to me with a very sarcastic ‘Have a nice day’. This is not the first time I’ve experienced attitude from staff at this store. People shouldn’t work in retail if they can’t organise themselves to ensure good customer service is provided. I would have given zero stars if this was an option.

Dreadful customer service. Purchased a Sage 3in1 Microwave, after 3 weeks the turntable started making very unusual noises and a smell of burning. Tried to call Argos Customer services, 20 minutes later I'm told to contact Sage - Really??? Argos as the retailer are responsible - However I was transferred and proceeded to wait for a further 20 minutes. In the end I gave up and redialled Customer Services - Again they couldn't help so I asked to speak to a Supervisor or Manager. Response was - No Supervisor or Manager are available and I'll have to wait 48 hours. That's fine by me, I'll just hold on !!! After a few moments I actually speak to a Manager. Explain everything to them and she speaks to the collection store and instructs them to order a replacement for collection when I return the faulty item. Honestly- the worse customer service I have ever experienced. Argos, If you read this Please take note and action on it.

If I could provide 0 stars I would. Wait in for 5 hours for a delivery - driver said he’d be with me in an hour. I had to call customer services to find out he didn’t want to deliver and apparently told me (he didn’t). Woman at customer services had no customer service skills - talking over me, no empathy, refused to let me speak to a manager. Fast forward 15 days… your delivery is due between 730am and 930am, text message received at 7.20 sorry we haven’t been able to deliver today please call us. Errrr how can’t you deliver today, I am in…. Try to call - customer services not open. I have a medical condition which requires my medication to be refrigerated, which Argos are aware…no fridge for over a month now…. It is less than a week until Christmas, you’ve had my money for nearly two months. I have no way of keeping my life saving medication cold, or to keep food refrigerated - absolute joke!

Really horrible customer service. The item delivered was faulty and you have to jump through 1000s of hurdles to return it. According to the website, you can return the item in the store. After carrying the heavy printer over there I was told that the collection needs to be organised by calling customer service and the sales assistants in the store can not call for me. When I called to the customer service the lady on the phone shouted at me and told me off for not speaking to Canon first. So now I need to be on hold to Canon to then call back customer service and finally organise an item collection. How I wish I ordered through Amazon instead!!

Why is it Argos are not able to provide a VAT invoice on purchasing an item. Is it really that difficult? Their help guide indicates that it is available by logging in. Unfortunately it never is. Calling them is a painfull experience and there is no such thing as a complaints department or a complaints reference, even though some one will write down your complaint. I have had to call twice in two days. Dont expect a call back, well I have only been waiting 2 days so may be there is still hope, but certainly wont be counting on it.

I had no notification of my delivery slot just a missed call from a number I did not recognise on the day. I then get a text from Argos three hours later to say my order has been dispatched! I rang the mobile number it was the Argos delivery driver who told me my order had been returned to Argos (unfortunately I'd missed the delivery). I rang Argos customer service who said my order had been marked as delivered by their fast track delivery driver. I explained I had spoken to the driver on his mobile and was told he'd returned it back to Argos. It took 4 calls to try and get my issue dealt with! First time they hung up, second time I was told to call back after my delivery slot had ended, third time I was told to call back after 5pm, fourth time to be fair the advisor took time to sort it out (I hope) no option for a re delivery just a refund which can take up to13 days (I purchased the items during black Friday deal and now the price has gone back up!) Then told to re order, why would I trust them to deliver my order again after taking my money!? I'm so disappointed, I've never had an issue with Argos before. What's going on?

Brought an item & choose my collection point, only to find out the location’s under renovation & my parcel sent to a random store . Contacted CS & showed up to a store & is unable to locate my item. Your CS in-store & on phone is unhelpful & complaint ignored.

If I could rate a zero, I would I ordered an item that hasn't turned up when expected. I waited an extra day, then contacted them, only to hear the vehicle broke down, so the order was delayed. I asked them why I hadn't been informed but got no response. Then I requested that they reship the order, but apparently they cannot, as it has not been marked as delivered. The agent then changed her story and said the item had been damaged in the breakdown, so I said "well, its been delivered then, as it comes back to you, kindly send a replacement". How hard is it? They are insisting I accept a refund and buy it again. FUMING!!! Why should I waste my time doing this again when the original order hasnt been received?

Disrespectful company! I ordered a washing machine and it is delivered as damaged. Requested change and it has been 2 weeks that I am waiting for the delivery team to collect the faulty product and deliver the new one. They don’t give a time window for delivery and make you wait at home all day. Additionally, they kept me waiting all day and didn’t complete the delivery twice. Today the customer service said that they couldn’t deliver due to it’s out of delivery hours after 5pm and booked it for next week. Even it’s their fault they give the next available date next week. In this respect it is going to be my 4th week that I am waiting for a delivery and they have no other solution. I was ok to bring my faulty product back but they say the warehouse is not open to public. I don’t know how people cope with this system. If you order anything from argos you may have to spend a few weekends at home to wait the collection of any faulty item. Don’t order big items from Argos. They are terrible at managing deliveries. It was my last ordering. Unbelievable!!

Ordered 2 items, they left them in front of my door on 2 different days. One was stolen and the one i got was missing an item. I had to talk to few different people and explain to each one that the order wasnt delivered. It took a couple of days for them to send me the replacement, even though they assured me every single day it will be in my house by the end of the day. They refuse to send me the missing part because the order has been delivered. What a ridicoulous argument. Online orders are supposed to be a convinience and not a hassle.

Argos c/s is soon bad, I wrote to the CEO, and the reply said that he had read my complaint yes right!!!!!!. if he had it would have been taken seriously. I recently purchased a washing machine from Argos, and paid for it to be connected. Argos arranged for AO to do the connection. The first one was faulty so they provided another one. AO fitted this one. This time the AO fitters broke my dishwasher in the process. I arranged for an independent technician to check what had happened and he said that the fitters had crushed the water outlet pipe to the dishwasher and blew all the switches. So I need a new dishwasher. Argos made me contact AO to sort it out? 28 days later AO and Argos are not accepting any responsibility. So I'm stuck with no dishwasher and out of pocket ? All I did was buy a washing machine and end up with no dish washer. How bad is that. Maureen J Edgar

Ordered an expensive camera for click and collect. Got an email a few hours later saying "sorry you cancelled" and no more information. I did not cancel and had no idea what happened. I tried to speak to Argos staff but got no where. Now the transaction has completed and my money is gone. Argos staff are now blaming my bank and refusing to help.

Minus 10 Stars For Stress Paid for a delivery of a large item. Waited. No contact as promised from the driver. Time slot expired. Tried to call costumer services but was thrown into Argos' digital automated maze - was cut off. Tried calling again - exasperated - managed to speak to a human being - the call dropped again. Phoned again. Impossible to speak with a human being. Eventually spoke to a human being. Without being informed my order was rescheduled for the evening. I was never contacted about this. As it stands - I may or may not receive my order tonight. Laurel and Hardy level customer service that secretly mocks the customer. For decades I've purchased items from Argos without incident. This is the very last time I use Argos.

We bought a Samsung RR39M7140WW/EU Fridge. It was very expensive, but while it lasted. Then, just after a year later, it stepped working. It's still under guarantee, but Argos/Samsung don't plan to send an engineer for 2 to 3 weeks. What on earth is the point of that? The food is rotting at 15 c , and Argos really couldn't give a toss. Absolutely useless. We will have to get a new one and sue them for cost. Better to spend a bit more somewhere like John Lewis- at least if it goes wrong you know they'll fix it.
