I ordered a bbq utensils set from the Parliament St store in Nottingham for collection, as I have mobility issues I asked my 28 year old daughter to collect this for me. When she arrived at the store she was asked for id as these apparently are a restricted item, unfortunately she did not have this on her at the time. I called the store to enquire why this had happened and the member of staff said he didn't know so I asked to speak to the manager, the gentleman put me on hold for over 20mins then came back and said that no one was available, and even if there was they would only give the same answer then put the phone down on me. My husband then went down to collect and was not asked for id, so he asked what the problem was earlier to be told to go online and complain. I went onto the Cs chat to inform them on events explained it all again only to be put on hold in the chat room whilst they investigated and guess what? Yes was cut off from that too. Seems argos do not care about there customers nor do they want to deal with customer queries or complaints. This will be the last time I or my family will shop with them again.

Never again. DO NOT BUY from ARGOS. If you’ve opened the box and not used the product they will not refund you. I will never ever buy from Argos ever.

Just had a patio set delivered from Argos Web site says small items delivered to doorstep larger to your selected location. Guy arrived, unloaded to boundary and took a photo. I was waiting at open garage (4m away), he turned round and walked away. When queried he said " I've delivered it to your property" Appalling service. Glass table top moved for safety prior to taking photo.

If you're shopping at Argos please read: Bought Iphone 11 for £924 for my wife back in Oct 2020 (if you're not aware customers are protected under the Consumer Law for 2 years and I am entitled for exchange). The phone is now faulty not recognising SIM card. I have been to Apple store Genius Bar Work Authorisation and they did their diagnosis and attempt to repair it however issue persisted. I have contacted Argos via phone and their dealings with this is SHOCKING!!! I have sent numerous emails to Argos and no response!! • Phone is faulty, issue is no cellular data however when you take the SIM card out and use it on another phone it works. Problem observed Saturday 09/04 • We have factory reset all the settings and restore from iCloud to no avail problem persisted • On 10/04 Issue reported to 3 Network store at High Street Kensington and they advised it's a phone problem because the SIM card works on another phone • On 11/04 been to Apple Genius Bar and problem persists despite their troubleshooting/diagnosis and attempt to repair • On 12/04 around 3:10pm spoke with Imtinan from Customer Service, explained the situation and Imtinan advised that I go to Argos store and they will assist with my problem and that I will be offered exchange or pro-rata refund, however that was not the case and my time was wasted!! • On 12/04 around 7pm been to Argos store at HA4 0AJ as advised by Imtinan, store staff was clueless what to do about the problem and they said phone is out of warranty and referred me to go to Apple! I then spoke with the store manager Jordan who looked up how to deal with this! He then advised me that it will take 3-4 weeks for the phone to be looked at by a third party. However I refused as my wife needs a phone and the timescale is unacceptable for an essential service. • I then left the store and contacted Customer Service again at 19:38 and spoke to Emily who was apologetic about my experience, however she stated couple shocking things: o If I go to another store I could be treated differently and that the store could replace my phone! So am I expected to try my luck and keep trying different stores! Where is Argos regulations, processes, standards, audits? o I requested to file a complaint which Emily did and when I asked for the reference she said it's the order number, I asked when someone will look into my case and contact me she said no one and that was a shock to hear! I requested this to be escalated and to speak to a manager, she then put me through to Rebecca o Rebecca filed complaint Ref 16232239 and to speed things up I can take the phone to repair shop as advised in her email o On 13/04 I have been to a repair centre and they advised that they need to open the phone for them to do hardware inspection/diagnosis checks, however opening the phone will void the warranty and I am not comfort to proceed on this basis. I have replied and chased Rebecca and Argos customer service via emails and no response at all, it's like we don't exist to them! They're very well when it comes to customers spend money but then when we're having product issue they play deaf!! Bottom line Argos customer service lacks professionalism, knowledge of their own policies and standards I am escalating my complaint to the Retail Ombudsman on CDRL.org.uk

Found a product you've been searching for for weeks on the Argos webite at an AMAZING price??? Prepare to be disappointed .... these "bargains" are NEVER, EVER in stock! I'm sure Argos use these unfulfillable promises as a marketing tool to lure people onto their site in the hope that they end-up buying something similar at twice the price!!!

The lady serving made a mistake ordered wrong coloured cooker 2. Promised my 500 pounds back within 5 working days(failed) 3. The 2nd lady made another mistake, admitted by her self. 4. The washing machine which I ordered with the cooker was not on the truck when it arrived so had to spend a day off work waiting for the next delivery. 5. I have called Argos 12 times over 2 days plenty time in between and said they were too busy. 6.Still waiting for my 500 pounds from the cooker I did mot recieve so I can order a new one so my family can eat properly. 7. Apart from that all is OK.

Recently got an Argos card and bought an item. I received a text a month later saying a payment was due. I was confused as I believed item was buy no pay later and had not received a statement. When I logged on I was charged an £8 late fee because the item did not meet eligibility for buy now pay later so they charged me. I emailed explaining the situation and Emily responded abruptly with "there is no exceptional reason as to why the payment was late and therefore won't change the payment". WOW Argos. Your complaints team lack empathy and sounds like robots.Nice to know. Won't be supporting this business again

Hi all, I purchased 6 roller blinds for home delivery, a time was set, 5 blinds turned up, I received an email stating all 6 had been delivered by Yodel (not the best delivery company), I contacted Argos who told me the delivery had been split and I will get it later between 1pm to 3pm. I attempted to fit the other 5 blinds and found one of them bent, so I had to contact them again for a replacement (can’t get one for two days). About 6pm I contacted Argos AGAIN as the blind still hadn’t turned up, I was told delivery could be up to 9pm, sad to say it still hasn’t arrived. I will not be dealing with Argos again, awful experience and still has not been resolved, gat a grip Argos.

DO NOT buy directly from a store as Argos will NOT give you a refund by bank, you will have to go back to the store to get your money back. I am disabled and no transport and they still forced me to pick up my money from the store and refused to refund my money back to my bank. I would never buy from a store again, its so much hassle and customer support has been a nightmare, this morning they put the phone down on me despite me being polite. I have a really bad tremor and find telephoning very difficult. Now I have to get a taxi which will cost £40 in order to get a refund for a defective product

Ordered a bush dishwasher from Argos sent me the dishwasher without any parts to attach the dishwasher. Four months later and many phone calls I was informed by Gillian from complaints that her manager Mike from resolutions informs her this product doesn’t come with fittings. The website on Argos states otherwise so someone is lying either the website or the manager. If the website on Argos states that parts are provided then why is ghe Manager refusing to send them Bush is an Argos made brand. The call was terminated by the staff member Gillian saying they will not supply the part. This is in breach of contract as it clearly states it is provided

Do not buy Apple products from Argos. I ordered a new iPhone to be collected from here, as it was one of the few places to have it in stock the same day. However, when I picked it up from the till it was clearly used/returned as the box wasn’t packaged as Apple typically does, but rather wrapped in cellophane with an Argos “quality assured” sticker on it, and the box underneath was quite clearly dirty. To make matters worse the very same employee who processed my prepaid order insisted I join the back of the queue as the return “was a new transaction I was requesting”. Argos used to be good.

I will never order from argos or shop in store there again, they ruined my Xmas with a 'phantom' order, basically took my money but didn't deliver over £350 worth of Xmas presents, and now they have messed up the visa verify so online payments are also not being completed! Absolutely the last straw with me. Will take my business elsewhere, later tater!!

Disgusted with this company, bought a tv oct 2020 during lockdown reserved and collected in store …., no email receipt given at time 15 months old and screen has completely broken down and independent report say not able to fix as screens are non existent and it’s a manufacturing defect and should never have been sold.Due to being unable to find receipt after moving house even though my bank statement shows proof of purchase they refuse to replace or refund . Trading standards now dealing with them 😡

I bought a Vax Hoover and I didnt think it was any good not as light as they say and didnt pick up very well. I took it back after making sure it was spotless and back in its box. They refused my return even though i was buying a dearer replacement because I had used it, but how do you know if suitable if its not used, how do you know most things are suitable without using them. Will never buy anything again from Argos.

Lost Argos card and eventually received another one three weeks later.Argos stores or online will not accept new card because old account has not been deleted and not giving me the option to do this. live chat is completely useless and been trying to get through by phone for last four days. When eventually I did get to speak to someone they passed me on to someone else and the line goes dead.

Argos have no complaints procedure or policy I am told. Tried to have a repair done under the extended warranty i took out on a settee - zero assistance from Argos and no attempt to resolve. They are simply not interested. I would try and buy your product elsewhere - fine and cheap when all okay but when your settee needs a repair less than 3 years after purchase - they just are not interested.
