During the 3 for 2 toy event I bought lot's and did click and collect at my local Sainsbury's. It was really easy and the staff were very helpful even offering to carry stuff out to my car

Exceptional delivery service. Mick and Colin kept me updated of the delivery time. Very considerate and discreet to keep the parcel away from Child’s prying eyes.

I have recently rented a bungalow near Preston Lancs and I needed to furnish it - I bought much of my various furnishiings and equipment from Argos and much of it I picked up from their Fishergate, Preston store. I had to cancel some items and they refunded my money really quick, there was a good selection of reasonably priced items which were easily viewed and ordered on their website and they sent me all my pick up codes on my mobile which was real convenient The staff at Fishergate could not have been more helpful and they even loaded up my car for me for big pickups. Can't speak highly enough of them, would have given top ratings except range whilst good was not as comprehensive as I would have liked,

The item was cheap compared to other online sellers and I opted for click and collect which went very smoothly. Staff knew what they were doing and were friendly and efficient.

Made my first order yesterday and had it delivered last night, the driver was absolutely brilliant very helpful polite very well mannered will definately be shopping with you again..

Whole van of orders was stolen by a Yodel driver. Customer service repeatedly lied to me about sending a replacement and would not cancel order. Had to constantly chase them and chase Yodel myself. Live chat is incredibly unhelpful. Thought I’d finally got somewhere over the phone, only to find I was lied to again - there were no notes on the system about the “fast tracked” tv I was promised. I was passed around from department to department, told to phone to speak to a manager who didn’t exist. No phone calls or emails as requested. Compensation voucher mysteriously has never arrived. I sent an email to complain, with no reply. No help whatsoever. I have ordered over 300 times from amazon with no issues. I’ve ordered once from Argos and it’s been the worst shopping experience ever. Still waiting for £350 refund. AO.com offer order tracking. Amazon have Prime delivery. I would recommend any of those as they have great service and actually help their customers.

I placed an order and paid for it to pick up from a local shop. I was unwell and couldn't pick it up so they cancelled my order! I didn't get a notification that it would be cancelled or a reminder to pick it up. They items are now double the price but wont honour the original order price! Terrible customer service and wont be buying from them again!

On ordering the item, the salesperson did not add the takeaway item of the old washing machine to the order and could not update the order without cancelling the item and restart the whole process again. This would have meant a double debit from my account with the refund occurring within 5 to 7 days. It ordered the item because of the relatively short delivery-date of five days. I was called about 7 in the morning (while I was still asleep) and told that I machine could not be delivered for about another three weeks and was offered the 'Do I wish to cancel?' option. Everything seems 'cannot-do' with Argos, not to mention the extended wait time and then about three transfers to the person who 'can deal' with this apparently complex situation. So I just cancel and ordered went to another company which was like a breath-of-fresh air. I won't rub it in by mentioning the name but Argos really needs to get its act together.
