“Most shocking customer service I have ever come across.
Left my daughter-in-law and grandchildren in tears.
, conflicting information given to me. Very dismissive rude.
I’m shocked to learn that because customer services are working from home that they’re unable to get a manager to ring back . Implied that my family are thieves. They have absolutely no interest in finding out internally what’s going on. Just brushing the whole incident under the carpet. Was even mocked By and member of staff on the phone to the Dagenham store.( A Couple of staff I must admit where helpful and courteous) The money we have spent as a family in the store apparently counts for nothing. And all down to a sticker that apparently they can see on CCTV ! Do they really think I’ve spent the best part of a two days trying to sort this out if I was in the wrong. I am absolutely exhausted. I cannot tell you how much stress they have caused us as a family. And after all of this my grandchildren are still left without the TV. Shame on you Asda.”
“had some garden furniture delivered F,riday morning, most disappointed when i removed wrapping to discover the sofa leg was bent.I called customer services after a very long wait wastold this could not be collected as the the delivery service only delivers and will not collect my damaged item.I have called several times to be put on hold for a long time then told I will be called back. The last time i spoke to them 5pm today I was told i will definately get a call back today.well it,s gone 8.30pm I have been fobbed off again .Asda customer services are extremely poor,I will not be spending money in their stores again.Having read the reviews on here this seems to be the norm.”
“At the start of the epidemic, Asda seemed willing to accommodate shielding guidelines by leaving orders packed in carriers on the doorstep.
However, as the weeks have progressed, matters have deteriorated rapidly.
I've recently had several large orders arrive with every item left loose in crates - eggs, meat, ready meals, cans etc. That might not be a problem for everybody but I'm shielding and trying to reduce contact time with drivers and have significant musculoskeletal problems which make that kind of unloading very difficult and painful.
On the first occasion when I asked about bags the driver remarked "there were plenty in store but they don't want to do it, they say they're too busy".
I called ASDA, flagged the issue and hoped it would not recur. Incidentally, a significant # of items were missing from the order.
On the second occasion, the driver just shrugged his shoulders, hovered over me for a few minutes while I unpacked, eventually remembering social distancing. I was left in pain and concerned about the unnecessarily extended delivery time/contact with reusable crates.
Once again, I flagged this with ASDA. I received a response, advising me that I could be reassured that more bags were on the way! I was also advised that the local store manager had prioritised frozen and chilled products for bagging due to the carrier shortage - clearly my order was the exception as I'm absolutely confident the eggs, ice lollies and lamb shanks on my doorstep were not in bags in spite of the representative from executive relations insisting otherwise.
There is absolutely nothing in the response from executive relations that indicates to me that ASDA is learning from feedback and I'm still waiting for an apology. It was merely a matter of "more bags are on the way" (hardly helpful if you don't allow staff time to pack orders) and "as per the manager frozen and chilled goods were bagged" - no they jolly well were not and the response from executive relations was dreadful.”
“Are we still in lockdown and 2 metres distance?asda haven't a clue nobody on door people just pilling in we turned our car round and went home that was to day 13 june Saturday morning, the amount of people pilling in through door was bloody stupid!!!”
“We always do our shopping online and it has been no different during lockdown. We live in Manchester city centre and the last 2 drivers have been incredibly rude and unprofessional. One of them lied to us saying asda guidelines prevented him to enter the building which we accepted and understood due to the current circumstances but challenged as none of his colleagues had claimed the same before. The driver then threatened to leave if we didn't came down and collected the food immediately, he then hung up the phone with no chance to reply. When we collected the food the driver justified his actions by the lack of ppe which we have noticed and think is very irresponsible from ASDA's management when their delivery staff are in contact with thousands of people.
The last experience was yesterday with a driver that didn't ring our bell at all and we only realised he had arrived by hearing him throwing our shopping violently on the floor outside our flat. When we opened the door he didn't even said hello.”
“Huddersfield Store.
Racsist Asian security guard.Who told me to “fuck off and not come back again”, when I complained about five members of staff standing chatting , with customers queueing and not enough tills open”
“Asda Gillingham

“I received my Asda.com product without a returns form.
I returned it to Asda Sefton Park on Friday 5 June. I waited 15 minutes to be told by an assistant to stand at the end of the counter as there was no one on the customer service desk.
I waited another 20 minutes for someone to arrive to tell me to take my parcel home and post it as I did not have a returns note.
I refused and told him Asda website says to bring it to a store. He then told me he did not know how else he could help me.
A manager or supervisor then said I could leave it at the store but I did not receive a returns note. I travelled 3 miles to return my item on Friday. I received an email to acknowledge my return. I was told at the store my money would be returned within 3-5 days. I asked if it would be possible to receive a credit voucher instead of waiting on the refund I was told no.
I then spent nearly £30 in store.
I called Asda customer services today. They wanted a returns note number which I did not have as I had not been given a returns note.
They had not received my item back in their depot?
They had not returned my refund and said I would have to wait 3-5 days for that.
I explained I needed my money they said it was their process .
I am appalled at your service and lack of empathy knowing full well how people are struggling at the moment.
I will never use this service again”
“The guy on the gate at Mile End branch was on the phone and doing his own stuff. There were many people leaving the store. However because he was busy with his stuff he did not realise.”

“Terrible service. Id give no starts if possible.
I bought a cot and mattress online, the cot was delivered when I went to put it up, it was all cracked and damaged. The mattress was due to be delivered a week ago and still nothing. Iv contacted asda and they say dpd has it ready to deliver and dpd have said they still haven't received it yet. After contacing asda for an exchange on cot they sent someone to pick the damaged one up and said it'll be another two week for a new one to be delivered. My baby has now no bed to sleep in as I got rid of Moses basket for room for cot. I still haven't received any apologies or anything”

“Ordered £159 shop & paid for delivery! Minutes after arrival delivery driver drove off without explanation shouting he will be back shortly! with almost £50 worth of items missing & 6 crates of a partial order in my doorway I waited half hour for driver to return in vain! On checking online account the order status changed from delivery in progress to delivery complete! In tears I complained to Asda Customer Service but refund rejected & was told to either dispose of the 6 empty Asda Crates myself or order a new shop with delivery for Asda driver to collect & remove; 4 days later crates still at my property causing an obstruction, sick elderly mother & I hurt of the financial & emotional abuse with no positive response from the company...what did we do to deserve this treatment?! Shopped with Asda for over 20 years & now forced to go elsewhere.”
“I'm sick and tired of hyper inflating prices then 'Roll Back'. Value trash products sold as 'Gold' standard. Rude staff. Disability Discrimination. The latest bout of Covid-19 Profiteering is absolutely disgusting.”
“another day and ASDA still sitting on my cash 200£ down nothing delivered Near a month now anyway on 9th a week away asda will have to communicate with my bank.
Disgustingly treated robbed blind managers was calling ?? cowboy company company”
“Really disappointed with the delivery service I recevied.
First the delivery guy tried to open my gate by pushing the crates into the gate.
Once he was in my front garden the crates then slid off the trolley and onto my tub of flowers decapitated half of them.
I told him I would be making a complaint and he said it was a accident, an apology would have been nice. If I didn't't need the food I would he to clear off.
Finally once we got the food which was in plastic bags into the kitchen we released that it was not our order
We called out th the driver and exchanged over the bags.
Some items were damaged (my flower's fault no doubt) and others had short dates.
When you go on the Asda website you have the option to leave a review but once you request a refund the option to leave a review is no longer there mmm!
I got my refund and then looked online to see were I could leave a review so here it is. Asda will now be at the bottom of my list for online food shopping.”
“4 phone calls to sort a multitude of errors clowns charged a pensioner for in the first instance over 125£ on a cancelled order NOTHING RECEIVED.
Then a second order 80£ the driver phoned explained he could not make it (POSTHUMOUSLY) I explained that my basket was empty and that I had already told them I do not wish to endure the stupidity anymore.
I am 200£ plus out of pocket within 4 phone calls the standard of customer service is serial.
Even refused communication with management I was so disgusted with interaction of one member of staff I informed him that the conflict was also being recorded by myself he freaked and hung up.
How long do you intend illegally siting on my cash”
“Unfortunately cannot give less than 1 star! We have been to ASDA Shirley for items AlDI dont have and the last SIX times we have been overcharged for goods or shelves deliberately mispriced - never have a problem in many years at ALDI.. If you walk round the ASDA store you will see many examples where they put more expensive items in a slot that has "sold out" of the cheaper one. Staff very unhelpful and management non existent. If you go through self serve till it will time out whilst waiting for the assisitant to correct who never take notice of social distancing. Last experience 30th May 2020. Will go 3 miles in the future by car to Morrisons, although they are a walking distance away. Attached two photos as examples - KOKO milk substitute has been shown for about 4 weeks at £1.25 but charged at £1.50. Staff say the bar codes are different although same product. No attempt to correct. ARLA cream is shown as 90p but charges at £1.30. If you look closely at the price ticket it says ASDA soya which is not on that shelf. We could go on and on. Just sit and check your bill before you leave.
Is it ASDA HO policy to deceive customers or just a very poor local manager and unhelpful staff?
.”
“Dreadful service. Half of my click and collect order was missing. Trying to get a refund is impossible even though the store later found the missing order. In addition they have charged me twice. I am now owed just under £100 on the order. Disgraceful service. I keep calling only to be told it has been referred to the back office and there is no contact number for them !”
