“What makes me happy in asda cafe that the manager jilly from the livingston branch is a we gem lost my sister two years ago and she came to speak to me not even knowing me and gave me all the support in the cafe since then Jilly has been my rock i lost my wee grandson Shay. On the 29th of march this year who would be 6 on saturday 15th june this year and once again jilly new i was upset and sat with me. giving me cuddle and all the support i defo nedded thank you jilly your we star u light up that cafe with that big smile thats always on your face. “When paying for my shopping at ten self checkout today I had a very embarrassing moment. I ended up 12p short. I had to call the young man over to tell him he’d have to cancel it. He looked at me and smiled and said that’s ok you don’t have to cancel for the sake of 12p. He pulled out his wallet and paid the remainder of my balance. All the while I’m thanking him he was as humble as can be and made what was an embarrassing situation for me all that much better. “I've always been happy with my ASDA experiences, but I'd especially like to compliment your staff in the Island Green store, Wrexham, North Wales.
We're in there a good few times a week, probably about 5 & we've only had one bad experience with a staff member. They are ever so friendly, helpful & chatty.
I'm not sure of this particular mans name, he's an older man with a little grey beard, but he's ever so lovely & always directs to current offers that we maybe interested in. Today for example we bought 2 extra bars of chocolate & a Toblerone that were on offer, after he told us about them. I have to admit my waistline isn't thankful, but my purse certainly is. He even showed us some LEGO offers, knowing our little boy loves LEGO (He comes here on the weekend to spend his money on books & LEGO, so the staff recognise us now)
Another particularly nice gentleman is a man called Dean, he's ever so quiet, but always willing to help.
It's very rarely in this store you see the staff just standing around, they're always busy doing something. The store is always very clean & you never have to wait long at the tills, even when its busy. The manager is obviously doing a good job!”
