“customers beware.never order online.after spending hours to pick the items you can not check out.30 attempts and nothing.site doesn t work.
bye bye asda
your repetable customer”
“Copy of complaint that I made to Asda. Could not put pics on here but hopefully you will get the gist of the failing in pricing and the poor customer service. Even allowed them to rectify the situation but they obviously don't value their customers.
I wish to make a formal complaint regarding your pricing and customer service at you Arrowe Park Store.
I attended the store earlier today with my grandaughter. I bought some groceries and also bought my grandaughter a toy dog for 3 pounds. The toy was clearly on offer in the sale reduced from 6 to 3 pounds. When I went through the checkout I was charged 5 pounds. As soon as i noticed this I went to customer services to complain. The lady from customer services then accompanied me to the sale display where the toy was purchased to investigate. Although the toys were in the sale area and clearly priced a 3 pounds she then moved some items that were hanging from the end of the shelf to reveal that there was also a 5 pound price tag. This price tag however was hidden from the general public (by the hanging items) and also was a full price and not a sale price. They therefore, according to the store, clearly had full priced items in the sale area with the only visible price being 3 pounds and not 5. The customer service lady was at a loss to explain this but did say that she could take back the toy and refund the 5 pounds. Not wanting to upset my grandaughter, I declined this offer and stated that I was not happy about this and that I was going to write a review about this experience and complain to customer services. I also told her that I would take a couple of photographs for evidence before I left. She then told me that it was illegal to take photographs within the store. I explained that it wasn't and proceeded to take take photos with my camera phone. As I took the photos she insisted that she pulled the hanging display which covered the 5 pound price to one side.
She then asked if this could be resolved in store by calling of the duty manager. I agreed as long as it wouldn't take too long. After about 15 minutes of waiting she returned to me and said that the manager was busy in the cash office and if I gave my phone number the manager would ring me as soon as he was free. I received no call whatsoever.
I am not happy about this situation and as such intend tomorrow, to submit a review with photographs on the web and also on social media sites.
I will attach the photographs including receipt for your perusal and action. From these pictures you can clearly see the product, the pricing and the customer service lady pulling back the vertical display t reveal the 5 pound price.

“I alternate between click & collect & I pay for the year to have mid week deliveries from Asda . I have never had a poor customer service from any staff at my local store or the delivery guys. Today I received my delivery at 34 WA10 4LN this is the second time this young gentleman has delivered to my address a total pleasure to have him in my home not sure how Asda find these courteous helpful staff members but they are a credit to the company & themselves. Occassionally there might be a wrong item but they are far & few between & customer service always resolve any issues with no dramas. There are a lot of angry ungrateful people in society today. Considering Asda is such a huge national organisation Asda offers an extremely efficient well run service with some of the most pleasant sincere staff. Give them a thought people when your ranting they are all human and deserve respect for their efforts. Thank you to all at Asda who make my life easier I value all the staffs effort from ordering to delivery.”
“Having shopped with Asda for almost forty years and had few issues, I was very disappointed with my latest experience.
We did an online shop and opted for what sounded an ideal way to rustle up some meals.
The one basket five meals. Five different meals , press on the item and the ingredients are added to your basket automatically . Great.
Unfortunately not so great when some of the items are not in stock. I know you have to expect this with online shopping but defeats the object if you canāt prepare the meal. One of the items I donāt even think they stock anymore. Also no indication of how you prepare the said meal when it all arrives.
Rang customer services , on the line for 31 minutes.
Worked out that this particular set of meals was in the Asda Good Living Magazine September 2019 . So ended up turning to google .
Sounds a great idea Asda but some things need tweaking.”
“Asda Harrogate is the worst shopping experience ever. Forced onto self checkout as short of staff and long queues at the few āmannedā tills. Just returned an item and dealt with by a very rude member of staff. Insisted on seeing a manager who wasnāt much better. Absolutely disgraceful treatment of customers.”
“Ordered a small bedroom table lamp. Arrived next day into morley store. Lovely security man opened box for me to see which bulb I needed to buy. Well done Asda.”
“Just walked into Wigan Asda to do a shop and there are no scanners charged up. Iāve walked out and will travel to another store in Leigh rather than have to queue at tills. Ridiculous they encourage you to use the self scanners then donāt man it enough to ensure itās a smooth service. Thatās another hour of my Sunday wasted.”

“Dont use home delivery! Absolute joke. Ordered things and some didnt show up then I was told I hadn't ordered them! On my original invoice I had paid for them and ordered them. Wasnt my fault that they disappeared after adding something else to my order next day. Total waste of time. You'll have to go to a shop anyways and pick up items missing so no point ordering online. Never had this issue with Tesco!”
“A horrible experience at ASDA Newark condescending accusing rude ignorant when I complained they transfer me to the woman I'm complaining about try to intimidate me no apology
Told will not let me know no about my complaint in any way feel like I'm getting nowhere please avoid in my opinion shop somewhere if @”
“Had an online delivery today. It was 4 hours late. I have placed an order as I have a 6 months old and it is difficult to do my shopping in store. I live on the 1st floor with no lift and the driver just left the goods on the ground floor and I had to carry all up. Will never order again”
“Yet again in asda and Lynn on tills so wonderful, and so helpful .No matter what she goes out her way to help you .Total asset to your Cumbernauld branch . Never changes. Great to have staff like that . Give her a pay on the back , I hope you do this”
“Again items missing but they took the original amount, when you speak to them it is the banks Fault???? the banks are sick and tired of asda blaming them for their incompetance, plus food out of date today, seriously Asda are awful the service is awful and no wonder they have been voted the worse supermarket, it is about time the CEO listened to people as it is the people that matter and can make or break them and by all the reviews on the internet, things are not looking at all good for them, I will certainly never use them again, shocking service”
“ASDA Milton Keynes. Had such a great day before getting to the checkouts in ASDA. The lady at the tills, Elisabeth seemed to have a bad day. The way she behaved and how she has treated us was awful. She forgot she was there to help the customer feel they are guests and make them come back again and again. We spend a lot of money everything week and is a pity we have to find a Better place to do shopping for our family. Hope no one has to suffer because of her attitude. Very disappointed”
“Ordered my Xmas shop from them, never again will I shop in Asda, when I went to collect my delivery so much was substituted, they tried to palm me off with a frozen turkey, I got the list and went straight in store to find the items substituted was actually sitting on the shelf. The fruit and veg went straight to the pigs, it was disgusting”
