“Store in Dunfermline was very clean, staff were very friendly. When couldn't find plain flour was shown where it was by staff who stopped what they were doing and physically showed me where to go.”
“26 Feb 2019 spondon derby I was so impressed when a member of your team kindly took my elderly mother to the ladies ,allowing me to continue my shopping .and she returned her to me whilst I was packing my bags it was so helpful and i was so gratfull as was my mother ,and the young lady was so polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble thank you very much asda”
“I'm not lazy. I ordered shopping with delivery to my home because I have a sick child. I am alone with a child. My son has chickenpox and can not go outside. I ordered a baguette, butter, fruit, juice ... what I really need. Bagels not available. How is it? I was not given bread for this price - nothing! I'm without bread. Thank you very much. All you had to do was to send a text message and ask if you could give something else. In Poland, I sometimes bought a home delivery from Tesco. Always as if the product was not available, they gave a different one. More in Asda I will not order home delivery.”
“I have used Asda for home delivery for years and apart from the odd blip it’s been a pretty good service. That’s until November 2018. Since then there has been problems. The first was an order due between 8-10. The estimated arrival time was 2 am. They would not deliver the next day and I couldn’t wait up so I had to cancel. They offered £2 off my next delivery cost as compensation. The next time there were a lot of missing items. Today an order arrived. Lovely person delivering as usual. Of a 50 item order 25 were not available. This was on top of the items that had already come up as out of stock before I placed the order. Not good at all. The money was put straight back into my account but I will now have to pay for a delivery from somewhere else.”
“After bad experience in Asda store in the marina Brighton, we decided to use their online click and collect. First time, we collected without checking and realise an item missing and one egg broken.
The second shopping, their collection point was changed to several small lockers, managed by a screen in the middle of the collection drive in point, except the drive in point was blocked by a Asda van being charged! The screen navigation was also very tedious and not user friendly plus it asks for your date of birth in BIG characters right in full view of everyone else!
Today, I've just been to attempt to collect but had to come away empty handed because; again, the drive way was blocked by a Asda van being charged, so defeats the convenience of click and collect, the order number, after trying it several times, doesn't work, just refers me to customer service telephone number which stays on for a couple seconds then changes back to previous screen thus making it impossible to try and call! and when I asked a passing Asda staff, he brushed me off saying he only does trolleys! and on top of all that, the screen was blocked by hanging charging cables which comes out from above drops down right infront of the screen to the ground and trails to the van, talking about health and safety!
The entire experience was stressful and NOT convenient at all. Just called Asda customer service, requested for full refund several times, but each time, I was surpassed by various options; It's ready for you to collect now, No, I'm not going though the entire charade again (drive in blocked by Asda van, find a parking space, get a trolley etc), we can arrange for delivery tomorrow? No, not possible, as a few of us DO work, that's why I picked click and collect ...
Whats the point of advertising this "convenience" if the company doesn't really believe in providing the convenience to it's customers? We will definately now shun from even using this service or should we say, non service.”
“Home delivery system is wank! They should have every order loaded on the vans ready for delivery! So if a payment cancels for any reason the customer still has a chance to rectify payment before loosing out on all the shopping that is needed for the day chosen by the customer! Tescos and Sainsburys I highly rate as excellent as they listen to customers needs!”
“I just received the online order. I live in a flat upstairs. After I went and helped the guy to bring the products upstairs to my door, he then rushes to take all the products from the plastic cages and throw them on the floor, the he enters my house to pick up the other left plastic cage, i kept asking wtf is going on then he yells at me to not swear at him. i called asda "support" i explained the situation and they didn.t care at all they didn.t even believe me.”
“After receieving home shopping from asda the chocolate brownie ice cream which gave me severe food poisoning and I was so ill for 24 hours un and out of the toilet. Nevrr have u felt so ill. Adter feeling better i called them to complain, after waiting 15 minutes by a clueless idiot, he them transferred me to someone even more clueless (head office in leeds) when I'm calling in London. He accused me of being a liar saying food poisoning tales 72 hours, was totally incompetent no customer service skills what so ever. Um absolsuley disgusted with Asda and there service. I will be contacting trading standards to report this.”
“I ordered the new range of sausage dog towels and cushions, what I collected from store was curtains and non-sausage dog cushions, I was told to take the order back to store (40 minute round trip), to then be told the goods would be returned and a refund would be paid in 2 weeks.
Firstly my order did not arrive.
Secondly I had to return the wrong products back to store.
Thirdly I was told I had to wait 2 weeks for a refund.
None of this was my fault, clearly the picker and packer in the warehouse could not read the order or couldn’t care less.
I had to make a complaint, twice, as phone was put down on me the first time to eventually get my refund immediately but no compensation for the inconvenience or cost of fuel to return wrong items to store. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM ASDA AGAIN, you DO NOT deserve 1 star.”
“I couldn’t get my order to complete, 9.55pm Friday, and Custer service person dealing with it went home at 10pm! Charming. Left us with no shopping. Very poor.”
“I would highly recommend asda for your shopping i bought a highchair, carseat and clothes today for my 2 girls really pleased with what i got and i have noticed that the clothes last i long time aswell i couldn't thank asda enough.”
“Waste of money, I ordered one thing and they gave me something else I’m never ordering from here again. If I could give it 0 stars I would🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😡👿👿😱😨😰😢😢☹️☹️👎🏻”
