“Worcester ASDA STORE HAVE A PRIVATE CAR COMPANY MONITORING THE CAR PARK, SINCE BEING ISSUED WITH A £70.00 fine i will no longer use this store or any ASDA STORE.”
“20th March 2019: I placed my monthly food/household item shop with Asda and booked a slot for it to be delivered the following day 21st March. My order was placed successfully and now all I had to do was wait for it to arrive.
21st March 2019: 1 hour before my delivered was due to be deliver to me I received an email to inform me that my order had been cancelled due to them unsuccessfully being able to take payment. Confused as I was (knowing that I had relavent funds in my bank) I decided to phone customer services. I explained on the phone that I had the money available in my bank to be taken for my shop and didn’t understand why it hadn’t been taken, I was informed that I had lost my delivery slot and that if I would still like my order I would need to rebook. Frustrated, I rebooked my order to be delivered today (22nd March) I even had to pay £2.50 more than what I would of originally to have my order delivered.
22nd March: Today was the day of the order! I hoped today that I would successfully received my order without problems, my order was due from 1-3pm, I made sure I was home as you would, 13:40 an Asda van parked outside the front of my property (2nd floor flat) I noticed it there and thought I would pop downstairs in case there in case there was difficulty finding me.By the time I had got outside the van had disappeared... After that I decided to get straight on the phone to customer service to ask what had happened, I was ensure my shop was still out for deliver and would be with me within the hour? The hour had been and it was 3pm still no Asda shop, very disgruntled I phoned customer service again in the hope they could enlighten me as to what had happened. After being on the phone for 10minutes I was informed my delivery had been cancelled because it was undeliverable, I informed them I received no call to inform me of that from either them or the driver despite that no notification of my order being cancelled! By this point I’m fed up as I have been told despite what little attempt the driver made (not even getting out of the van) to deliver my order that I can rebook it to be delivered on 24th March instead. My order is now due to be delivered on 24th March, on this occasion I might wait outside to ensure I receive it. I have been given a months free delivery pass in light of what has happened however I will not be using, I wasn’t offered a small discount off of my shop neither. I have been a loyal customer for years now but from this experience I will no longer be shopping with them.”

“I went to Asda on Wednesday 20 April lots off there yogurt was well out off date most on the 13th April along with quite a few other Items , to top it off packing my things on the till belt an cashier man walks off not saying he closing the till it’s so rude never happened to me in any other supermarket in my life ,so had to put it all back into my trolley & go to another till never go there again I make sure I tell all my friends & family to check DATES”
“My wife placed a order to be delivered, she received a email the next day stating that some goods would be substituted which wasn't a problem until she contacted them to discuss the substitutions..Now one of those was female razors now according to the C.S person they don't have female razors only male and that will have to do..Really !!! now if I came home and found pink handled razors with a bikini strip I wouldn't be impressed....next they only have one kind of carrot for sale in asda nothing eles...No lactose milk only normal I could go on but to be honest I can't be botherd. The moral of the story is if you work hard don't have the time to go shopping want convenience and order online DONT use Asda as it's very apparent that who ever does the picking for these orders Can't be bothered to walk and get the items...and to add insult to injury asda offerd my wife £3.00 compensation Asda you keep it and give the pickers a wage rise maybe they will move for that incentive. So Tescos and sainsburys you now have a new customer.”
“Unfortunately the food at the cafe today was terrible - the potato uncooked, the pizza base was hard as a rock and to top it all the lady behind the counter was rude!”
“Just order groceries online, and I have waited for them 4 h, even after the time slot. They did not arrive and I was told the order was cancelled or I have to rebook it . I have waisted 4 h waiting. Thank you Asda. Tesco is way better”
“First time ordering online shopping and a bit disappointed. Ordered it Tuesday 19th evening and most chilled items and bakery items had today 20th as the expiry date. Not great. Mince already was green upon arrival. Probably won’t use them again.”
“7th Feb delivery never turned up.
17th Feb delivery never turned up both occassions i called several times was fobbed off with lies, taken my money from account.
no text from delivery driver to say there was a problem now having to chase to get money refunded do not use unless you want a headache and large phone bill.”
“I was charged twice for my home delivery food shop last year when i did it online. It was then cancelled i never once got my money back from them or a apology. Went into their cafe for a drink with a friend disgusting flithy cafe stained mugs and really dirty tables. No staff about”
“Only if I could give a ZERO.
My second attempt to get home delivery and driver denied to bring the order to my door asking me if I dont have lift in the building he can not bring my order upstairs which by the was only on 1st floor.
Extremely disappointed with Asda home delivery. i wish they realised how much inconvinience they are causing to their customers whether we are working class who need to prepare meals for our families and relying on the order to arrive so can feed young children. Or might be may be medical reaaons a customer can not go shop or carry bags upstairs and ASDA let you down.”
“Asda grocery delivery service is pathetic and ridiculous. I am writing this feedback after my 3-4 trials. They frequently send a useless substitute of product you must require. This time I have booked my order 4 days back and planned a party accordingly. Before 15 min of delivery time they have canceled my order without providing any details. when I called to they customer care, they put me on hold almost 15 min finally told that driver not available for your delivery. If they don't have driver then why the hell they took 4 days to figure out that. When i ask them to deliver my order next day as next day party planned to my place. they told there is no slot available for next day earliest available slot for you is after 2 days.
Guys my sincere advice, If you have your plans don't order from asda.”
“Literally the worse delivery service I have ever received. Customer services were absolutely useless I called three times and they kept saying my order was delayed by more and more time. I have sitting down wasting my day and I am still waiting it has been two and a half hours. Piece of advise- order from Tesco instead XX”
“Not happy at all received a carton of juice today nearly 5 months out of date which I am waiting to be refunded for. Delivery hmm sick of having items missing from orders from the same delivery man and sick of receiving items with a low shelf/fridge use buy dates, December placed a big order and all of my chilled food was missing I received a £5 voucher because of this and was promised another £5 voucher as I was over charged too but didn't receive the voucher for that. I am now seriously considering shopping elsewhere.”
“If there was an option for zero I would have done it! They did not bring 18 of my chilled items on a delivery then lied and said we had told them it was fine to refund (according to the store) customer service on the phone did not have any notification by the driver of non delivery took 3 days to get a refund. All this was made worse by repeated promises of delivery from the store for the missing items even by the manager saying would drop it off by car!!!! They actually rang and told us delivery was arranged for following morning between 7-9 after numerous calls to store and having phone put down delivery didn’t not materialise! Asda are liars and have the worst customer service ever!”
