“Just paid a visit to Asda in Shipley. It's quite common to see tha odd customer without a face mask these days but at this branch, there seems to be a complete disregard for mask wearing!
On leaving the store, I mentioned this fact to the security guys but just got a shrug of the shoulders with the remark
"Sorry but we're not the police" if this store can't be bothered to politely remind customers to wear a mask then I can't be bothered to return.”
“HAD ASDA VEHICLE SHUNT MY VEHICLE. DRIVER DELIBERATELY FAILED TO STOP TO EXCHANGE DETAILS. HAD TO SPEND REST OF MORNING SEARCHING FOR AND REPORTING TO AN APPROPRIATE POLICE STATION AND TO REPORT THE INCIDENT TO THE NEAREST ASDA MAIN HEAD RETAIL OUTLET.
INFORMED ASDA OF CIRCUMSTANCE AND APPLIED FOR COMPENSATION FOR LOST TIME, ECT. A CONCERNED SOUNDING EMPLOYEE OF ASDA CONTACTED ME BY PHONE TO ASK OF SITUATION, BUT SINCE PLACING REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL RETRIBUTION, I HAVE NOT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM ASDA OF THIS APPLICATION AND MY FURTHER CONTACTS HAVE ALL UP TO NOW, SEEM TO BE IGNORED.
THEY ARE AWARE OF DRIVER, THEY KNOW THE JUGGERNAUT INVOLVED, THEY CLAIM TO HAVE VIDEO EVIDENCE.
THEIR RESPONSE TO THE INNOCENT VICTIM SHUNTED IN TO THE NEXT ROAD USED BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC?......
NOTHING!

“Got id and got asked to remove my mask and when challenges about the possible risk I could be exposing myself to the assistant then came within 1 mitre and continued to make me feel belittled because I wasn’t willing to put my safety and my family who are vulnerable and I need to be extra cautious. Asked to speak to the manager and got told a different story of protocol as she refused to disclose her name stating she’s not by law required to, also refused to explain the complaints process.”
“Why are people still entering Asda without wearing masks? When Security Staff approached was told guard didn't believe it was really relevant 'if ur going to get it, masks won't save u' then walked away. Good old Asda!”
“Yesterday I made a roast dinner for myself and a friend
As I did my shopping at Asda I had bought Asda Extra Spec itial Goose Fat Roast Potatoes
I cooked them as instructed but when we came to eat them we both felt that they were still quite hard in the middle
Today we had them again but I cooked them for an extra 5 minutes
Again they were still quite hard in the middle
I usually find your Extra Special range very good but on this occasion I have to say that I am very disappointed with this particular product
I bought them at your Clayton Green Store which is near Chorley Lancashire
In hindsight I think that 3 stars was more than generous 2.5 is probably more realistic
I look forward to hearing from you

“Order weekly shop online for delivery on Saturday 26th Sept - arrived 6.30pm. 10 items not available. Fresh diced beef had to used by the following day - Sunday, 27th Sept! There should have been at least 3 days before use by. Pickers should be more aware.”
“Many items were missing from my home delivery last week which I reported immediately. One cannot phone them unlike Waitrose. I had to use the automated system online. I accept these things can happen at times and in fact, it had happened once before when the priciest items were missing. I had not realised the three-day rule for Asda and lost out. This time around, so many items were missing that it was unforgivable. I immediately reported it, ticked the items missing and requested a refund. I had to order the items from another company and pay more for the same day delivery as the missing items included necessities like bread.
Asda has told me my request for refund has been rejected. I will be taking them to small claims court if they do not resolve the issue immediately as they have taken funds from me fraudulently without providing me with the goods.
Their customer service took an entire week to reject the refund request without getting into any conversation or contact. I find the service non-existent and pitiful. They have lost my custom for good with their behaviour.
In a world of Covid-19 when every household is suffering, the supermarkets are thriving and making a mint of it. Therefore, this behaviour is doubly unforgivable and unacceptable not to mention downright illegal.”
“I only began online shopping at the start of
the covid lockdown last everySpring and so it was all a new experience with many unfortunate results. Asda offers products of excellent quality in every range desired. I am not writing this toake Asda sound special. I am disabled since having had a brain tumour removed. The perfect products, the ease with which they can be purchased and the delightful delivery people, make everything feel a bit better - even in bad times
Thank you Asda.”
“went in asda today with a hidden disabilities lanyard on and got rudely asked and told that we needed a face mask then when we had told them that we cant because of that they started to ask why we couldn't which isnt allowed anyone wearing them should not have to explain why they have one on because of many reasons. many other stores such as tesco already have tho posters up about the lanyards so they are publicly aware of them”

“Ok asda so im on the road wanted a quick lunch on the go then you pulled this on me !!! I mean come on how am i gunn eat this with no fork !! Someone doesnt think things through wen coming up with new ideas !!!😫”
“After leaving Llanduno Asda I was stopped by a rude member of staff and guard. After being accused of theft of a TV and other goods in my trolley I will never visit the store again. They broke all COVID social distancing not even wear big a mask and putting me at risk. That’s what happens when you spend £200 at Asda....”
“Made an order for delivery, waited for 2 days since no sooner slot was available, the delivery was 3 hours late. As it was a whole 3 hours late (the app kept telling me that my order is « out for delivery), I called ASDA and it took the representative (with rather poor English speaking skills) 10 more minutes to find out that my delivery has been cancelled. No reason for cancellation was stated, the information still isn’t updated online, and I am left without groceries - no food, no toilet rolls - while in quarantine. Absolutely terrible service or lack of such, really. I will likely never shop at ASDA again and tell everyone I know to not use their services. The experience could not have been worse.”
“Last year I bought a 50 pound gift card (plus delivery cost) for my aging parent in Warks. Being 90 and with recent memory issues, he lost the card after one small purchase. Having given it timeto resolve , I finally asked Asda Card Customer Service if they would give a replacement card. I had no card number but had the original email receipt. They told me only Head Office could do that. I called from Canada to Card Services and then to Head Office who told me yes, they could do that but I had to give the receipt to Card Customer Service and do it through them. I sent them the receipt and they said than you but I still had to get the replacement through Head Office. I called Customer Care from Canada again to let them know I had already talked to Head Office. They said only Head Office could do this. I called Head Office, they put me on hold (from Canada) and then cut me off. Clearly Asda is unable to train their staff to deal with unusual situations. This reflects on management ability to put in place adequate procedures. The company behaviour was unprofessional and inconsiderate of their customers.”
“Disgusting delivery driver hit my car, broke back light and dinted rear wing, delivered shopping never said anything than had to return as wrong shopping given have contacted Asda customer service daily, continuously fobbed off since incident happened a week ago. So after you have your delivery check your vehicle cause they will not tell you if the hit it. ASDA IS A JOKE”
“Asda Radcliffe your staff are so rude and ill mannered not once did the member of staff say Please, she waved me down the Isle and said move down a bit
PLEASE WOULD OF BEEN NICE”
“There are a few occasions the delivery has turned up and drivers are helpful and polite. However, We have experienced our fresh food turn up frozen and that’s if we get our shopping at all. Tonight we were expecting a delivery 5-7 at 8 I called the “customer service” where I explained The situation they told me the status says it’s out for delivery, which I can see on my online profile. I confirmed that it’s definitely coming (as this was the only time in the next 3 days that I could receive a slot time. She confirmed it’s coming. 10.55pm I called again explaining the situation once again. The responce from the customer service informed me that he was guessing there might of been an issue because the warehouse hadn’t updated the system. I suggested he call them to which he told me they don’t have phones they just send messages. I asked what he suggest I do as there are no spaces and it’s my families lunch for work and school and he told me he doesn’t know. Eventually he decided he could give me a £10 good will voucher which would be online for my next online delivery. I’m currently booking now with Iceland to which I will get a delivery tomorrow and have done throughout the pandemic. I wouldn’t reccomend Asda as a reliable place. You will only get a refund and sent to the shop yourself. It’s quite frustrating when you are left with no food for the week and need to try to work our alternative arrangements to call the customer service to be told there’s nothing they can do. Not much help! I would take photos of my delivery but it didn’t come.”
“well this seems like a good time to write a review. Weve had missing items in the past or strange substitutes but tonight my order didnt turn up at all! It was due 7.30pm-8.30pm, didnt turn up so i phoned and was told he was running 40 mins late but it would still be with me. 9.30pm still not here so i called again and this time was transfered to a call centre abroad. Well it was pointless, they have no contact numbers for the drivers and could only keep saying she was trying to manage my expectations, absolute joke. My kids school lunches were in that delivery and because i wasnt informed the order was not turning up, it was too late to go to the shop. Dont bother with Asda, just absolutely appaling.”
