“I don’t think this company gets enough credit. I had a few issues and they responded to my email in 7 MINUTES. This company is on top of it and the quality is amazing. Looks like issues people have are with the lighted trees. I highly recommend there trees and non toxic which is huge with kids/pets ( did not get a tree with lights btw as lights go out so I put on my own)”

“We bought our first Balsam Hill Christmas tree and needed to change the size so an Angel would fit on top and not touch the ceiling. Trees were exchanged in record timing and we had our tree up right after Thanksgiving. We have been enjoying ALL the Hallmark Christmas movies, alongside our BEEautiful 9foot Balsam Hill Christmas Tree. BEEAUTIFUL addition to our family room. Will leave it up until The Ephiany when the three wise men come. :) To our surprise, we recieved a gift in the mail from Blsam Hill, thanking us for being a valued Balsam Hill customer. It was a generous block of Dark Chocolate Pretzel toffee bark. DELICIOUS!!!!! If you offer this chocolate we will buy it every year. THANK YOU BALSAM HILL for a BEEautiful Christmas Tree and this DELICIOUS Dark Chocolate Pretzel Toffee Bark. Rick and GloryBe”

“BEWARE SCAM ON FACEBOOK BALSAMHILLI.COM. They are NOT Balsam Hill. Thankfully Lloyds have put a stop on payment to Ovimani. I have spoken to the genuine Balsam Hill and they are in the process of trying to get the advert removed.”

“We were having trouble with some of the lights on our tree, and some of the tips falling off. We bought the tree just under three years ago. I called customer service and they were very friendly and accommodating. They told us that they will ship us a completely new tree free of charge. I was very happy with their customer service.”

“Bought a 9 foot tree with lights already on the tree. Every year more lights do not work. Customer service doesn’t have records after four years to even find my order to help get replacement parts. Over a $1,000 waisted. I would never recommend a tree from them.”

“Delighted with my 6’ blue spruce tree. It is excellent quality & so lifelike. It took a while to open up all the branches, but simple to slot together and erect. It was Heavy to manoeuvre tree into final position, as not enough room to fit lights when in corner of room. Nice touch adding the gloves & storage bag. Gloves were needed, as branches quite prickly when opening them out. Overall, I would recommend this tree. Should last for years. Mr Grace. Cornwall.”

“I have bought several products from Balsam Hill over the years and the quality and durability are exceptional! I have now experienced your customer service and product, follow-up care and I couldn't be happier. Your staff are very helpful and friendly, and the range of products i've bought, at different addresses were logged on the system, making it was easy to locate the parts needed and see if they were still covered by the purchase warranty. Thank you for sending me a replacement tree stand and key so swiftly.”

“Worst Customer Service I have ever received! Balsam Hill repeatedly lied to me about delivery status of order And after numerous wasted hours on hold was either hung-up on or was disconnected and no-one ever returned calls. I was charged a restocking fee of $99 for returning a duplicate tree that BalsamHill erroneously shipped to me! I will never recommend this company to anyone and will strongly advise against dealing with this company!”

“I purchased a 7’ tall Balsam Fir Tree for my 83 year old mother. After putting it together she and a helper easily fluffed that beauty into a full, spectacularly lit tree. Mom’s a little picky and if she doesn’t like it she wants it out of her house. She absolutely loves it and is very excited for everyone to see it virtually and from the front bay window. She and dad will spend a lot of time this Holiday without all the family present but the beauty of this tree will give them that special holiday feeling we all need this year! Thank you Balsam Hill!”

“BUYER BEWARE! Splurged and thought you would get what you pay for but that is not the case. PArt of the tree stopped working and they said they would send me a replacement section.EIGHT months later I received the new section and put it in the attic. Next Christmas I go to put the tree together with the new section and it doesn't fit. On 12/3 I call immediately, they don't make my tree anymore and will send me a replacement tree. Now 1/24/20 and I still don't have the tree or a record of the warranty covering it. STAY AWAY!”

“This was my second artificial tree from Balsam HIll. We had moved and I wanted a bigger tree and purchased a beautiful new 7 1/2 foot tree. Upon opening, it had a musty odor. I called Balsam Hill and they deeply apologized and immediately emailed me two return labels and 3 days later, even before I returned the tree, a new tree arrived and in perfect condition. They were VERY apologetic and acted immediately. It was December and their 30 day return made it possible to relax through the holiday. The odor mostly dissipated after airing out. But a hint remained so I did return the tree and the new tree was fine. Other than that, the tree was perfect in every way. The tree is beautifully made and looks entirely real when decorated. Balsam Hill is the ONLY company I would go to for my artificial trees. The trees look real and the customer service far exceeds any expectation I could imagine. Balsam Hill stands solidly behind their product and quickly solved my problem and made me happy and able to relax through the holidays. Balsam Hill is a quality made and serviced product. They absolutely do take personal care and pride in their authentic looking products AND customer satisfaction is a priority. I would never even look at other companies for my Christmas decorating needs. My old front door wreath is looking pretty sad and I'm looking at B.H. Their wreaths look very nice! :)”

“I am really puzzled by the negative reviews on this site. I read them after ordering the tree and I thought I had probably wasted my money. In fact the tree is excellent and exactly as described. I cannot fault it in any way. Maybe the comments refer to electrics. My tree is unlit.”

“This is the most beautiful tree I've ever had. I used the gloves, and a friend helped me and she even had a pair of gloves to fluff the tree. So full, and all the lights worked. Just love it.”

“We purchased a tree 7 years ago at around $1200. The tree is beautiful and all the lights work. However, it is becoming very wobbly. Upon closer inspection, we determined that one of the tree joints is cracked so it doesn't hold that section firmly anymore. This is a pre-lit tree and we have NEVER had issues with the lights and they have worked perfectly and so has the remote. I have purchased Christmas wreaths and they also work great. I recently purchased some pumpkins for fall decor and the quality left a little to be desired. Customer service promptly replaced them at no cost to me. I think the quality could be better for the price but so far I've had good experiences both with most of the products as with customer service.”

“Okay so last year I purchased a Balsam Hill tree on an after Christmas sale. All good. I got the tree but it was broken. No big deal because Christmas 2020 was over. I called CS. They set up a case. I heard nothing throughout the year but figured I would have to deal sooner or later. To my surprise a new tree showed up sometime before thanksgiving. Thanks Balsam Hill. Overall I’m happy. Two caveats: please, please. Please! Put a friggin video on your CS site on how to put the lithium battery in the remote! Two, I noticed one branch on the top portion is not attached to the stem. Really love the tree but quality control??”

“Purchased a 6’ Fraser fur tree - used it 1 season - the colored lights only half work, white lights work. Customer Service was no help - offered to sell me some extra bulbs at $5.00 a box. Paid over $700.00 for 1 Christmas- pretty expensive. Lifetime of memories - all BS, although I’ll remember it. Product sucks!”

“I have had my prelit, 8' Balsam Hill tree for 3years now and love it. This year, I had to replace a plug fuse and all is lit so no problems (yet)! Took me a bit of troubleshooting to find if-and-where to replace the fuse, but with some patience got it done. I was very troubled to see from the reviews that Balsam Hill is no longer offering replacement bulbs for "older" trees and telling customers to "just string some lights over the unlit section" on a $700+ tree investment. The fact that their bulb base is unique, is all-the-more upsetting. I suspect they are not making the incandescent bulbs any longer due to the takeover of LEDs. One of the previous reviewers had a GREAT idea of replacing the bulb only, but keeping the base (easy to do by carefully manipulating the wires that run thru the base). (Or) take all the bulbs off the tree and list them on Ebay... from what I see, you can probably make enough $$ to buy another tree from a different company.”

“Last year i bought a 6’5” tree for $349 on sale. This year, same tree is $379 on sale. Nice tree but the sale price is the real price. Anyone who pays “full” price is foolish with money.”
