“We were shopping at the Inverness shop and ahead of us was a very elderly gentleman who had selected a foil balloon. The lady at the till asked him if he needed it to be inflated now or not. The gentleman obviously had not realised that he had selected a balloon and thought it was a gift bag in the sealed polythene bag. The lady serving was so kind and helpful to him. He had appeared confused originally about what he wanted and was frail and shaky. She took time with him and spoke gently and helped him choose something appropriate. He left happy with his purchase. It was just lovely to see her helping him. It is confusing for lots of elderly people to be in busy shops and the hussle and bustle when they might be hard of hearing etc. Both my husband and I thought she was just wonderful with him and that's why I have made the effort to write this review.
