Aggiudicata una borsa Gucci proveniente dal Giappone. Mi chiama la dogana da Roma per dirmi che avrei potuto pagare le spese al momento della ricezione della borsa ed ho accettato. Invece la borsa torna indietro dal venditore e adesso vogliono che paghi le spese di trasporto e a distanza di 1 mese ancora non vedo soldi. Continuo a mandare messaggi senza risposta! Orribili!!! Non comprate da loro!!

Je ne recommande pas ce site. Les estimations sont trompeuses et les photos sont agrandies de manière exagérée, parfois jusqu’à 100x, ce qui ne reflète pas la réalité des objets. Soyez très vigilants. Les frais de port sont extrêmement élevés. J’ai également l’impression que certaines enchères sont artificiellement gonflées par de faux comptes afin de pousser les acheteurs à payer le prix souhaité.

I bought a diamond ring and within weeks the diamond had fallen out of- I took the setting to a jeweller who told me that it wasn’t suitable for the diamond shape. I can’t get any response from either Catawiki or the seller ( DiamondsNL) it’s a nightmare.

I purchased an expensive watch from catawiki. The watch was shipped promptly via DHL and it was picked up by the courier the next day. Since then, more than two weeks have passed and the DHL tracker hasn't been updated. I can't get any response from catawiki and the seller has no interest in helping to resolve the situation. I'm thousands of euros out of pocket and I've no idea what's happening. Catawiki's customer support appears to be non-existent.

My experience with Catawiki was a complete disaster. The seller did not ship the item within the deadline, and Catawiki itself canceled the order and refunded the payment — as expected. But unbelievably, a week after the deadline had passed, the seller decided to ship the item, and Catawiki charged me again, even though I never received the product, which was returned to the sender. The so-called “customer support” is a joke: automated responses, repeated requests for information already provided, and zero human follow-up. Every email resets the process, and no one takes responsibility. This situation shows a total lack of organization, transparency, and respect for the customer. After this experience, I will not use Catawiki again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Be careful, Catawiki is fraudolent, not transparent, and the customer support ignores you instead of helping out!! My account was blocked with the false accusation of funbidding. When I asked for explanations, evidence or even just a bill to pay to resolve the situation, obviously the customer support just ignored my request. Since I just won a lot for a very good price before this happened, they probably thought I am a dangerous customer...

I recently won an auction on Catawiki after spending a lot of time researching the item and bidding carefully. To my surprise, the seller cancelled the order afterwards, simply because they were unhappy with the final price being “too low.” What baffles me is that Catawiki allowed this without offering the buyer any protection or compensation. If the roles were reversed and I had bid too high, the seller would have gladly accepted, yet now even to I won fairly I'm left empty handed. An auction should mean that both parties honor the outcome, otherwise the entire process loses credibility. Unfortunately, Catawiki seems to favor sellers in these cases, leaving buyers with wasted time and frustration. I cannot recommend Catawiki to anyone who expects a fair and reliable auction experience

Catawiki support is evasive, wriggle out of uncomfortable situations and are covering up for and siding with non-shipping sellers and for non-paying bidders.

This is increasingly starting to feel like a scam. Auctions I won over ten days ago are still marked as “being prepared,” well beyond the originally stated timeframe. To make matters worse, I’ve now been charged twice for the same transaction—once yesterday and again today. Customer support is virtually nonexistent: there’s only an unhelpful bot and an email address that no one replies to. The so-called “live agents” appear to be available for only a few hours on weekdays. After winning five auctions on this platform, this experience has been deeply disappointing.
