“This morning we stopped at costa drive through leisure park Basingstoke. There were not enough staff, only one person taking orders, we waited a long time to be served. No one said sorry for the wait.
The muffins had labels 50% off. So we decided to buy 2. When we got to the counter we seemed to be charged full price! I looked at the receipt and we had paid full price. I asked why this was, at first she said I was wrong and then said that’s a label from last night. No apology at all. Where is the Customer service here. We will not be back.”

“The new dairy free milks are disgusting. Pay to have a good coffee, only for the milk to ruin the taste. I bought/given gift cards for Xmas, but I wouldn't have asked for them if I knew that Costa was planning to move to these cheap nasty vegan milks. There are plenty of good manufacturers out there, most supermarket non dairy alternatives taste good but Coca Colas own brand is the worst.”
“I asked for a flat white in a take out cup was given in a sitting in cup when I said she changed it the second coffee was a latte she then put that in a cup not a latte glass how hard is it to get 2 coffee orders wrong”
“Waited for 10 minutes to be served at the woolwich arsenal branch. When i did get served, my order was forgotten, but i had to leave without my drink as i was in a hurry. At least i got the points. I use costa a lot and normally the baristas are vey efficient.”
“I attended costa in The Avenue Newton mearns. I was instantly approached by an employee Sarah (who I later found out to be the store manager). Sarah was very passive aggressive and raised her voice at me stating “you cannot eat that in here”. I explained that I wished to purchase a tea and coffee and did not intend to eat the sausage roll that I had previously bought from another store and was still in the packaging however I was unable to finish my sentence when again, she said in a raised voice “you can’t eat that in here”. The shop was busy and I felt embarrassed and shocked that an employee would behave in this way, even more so that she is a store manager. I asked for the complaints process and again she was very passive aggressive and said that she “assumed” I was going to eat the sausage roll. She made no attempt to apologise and proceeded to give me the phone number of head office whilst repeatedly saying “wow”.
Disgusting service and I will not be back.”

“Went to Costa coffee in Forfar today , noticed tables were not being sanitised after customers left the 2 girls spent most of the time on their phones instead of clearing and cleaning the tables ,a disgrace when covid numbers are high”
“They have replaced the points system to bean system what a big disaster that is you know how to drive customers away you have already lost loads of customers and lots of people have lost there points, boycott Costa until they realise there big mistake. “I purchased a Costa mug and it leaks I returned it to the shop which I purchased it from and they wouldn't replace it they told me to contact customer services, of which I have and I haven't had a reply from them. Mug was purchased on 3 July 2021.”
