“Went to the Costa at Stafford Beacon Park must be the dirtiest Costa I’ve seen. Tables not cleaned dirt and crumbs over the floor. And as for the toilets they were disgusting toilet paper on the floor and looks like someone had wee’d over the floor big puddle by the loo. Does no one ever clean this place. Won’t be going again”

“staff was not very professional and one member i was told by another staff member he did not speak english the service was bad and the manger what is he doing by letting this staff member serve the i am alllergic to chocolate so if he does not understand me why is he serving me .this was the second incident i witnessed when i was there bad management”

“When you introduce parking charges, it would be a good idea to let customers know that they are limited to a 90 minute stay. Have got one parking ticket and as regular customers my friend and I are likely to get another. Ok, so signs have gone up but they are only noticeable if you are looking for them and know they are there. Meeting up for a chat and several cups of coffee is no longer an option for us at this cafe. Springfield Road, Lanesfield, Wolverhampton. Car park is never full when we go, so why the restrictions?”

“I have just had a hot chocolate and it is without a doubt one of the worst I have ever had I expected more of costa it was just like drinking hot water with a vague hint of chocolate awful”

“Costa The Maltings Newark Notts. Acting Manager... Acting Manager , OH Dear! A very rude, arrogant and angry individual. Clearly Born To Lead.... Dreadful with Customers and Staff Alike. Did not bother looking at the purchase ticket , and proceeded to use the incorrect milk , that could have made my husband ill. I understood your policy on allergy problems were meant to be stringent.. Sent a member of his staff out to impart the strange news to us that he was the manager.. When asked about this he became very insulting telling me I know your sort.. Of course I intend getting to the bottom of this remark. As It could only mean one thing.. He then barred loyal customers , who have always frequented Costa , and got on great with them. Ask your staff who have always been treated with the greatest respect by us, as they have to us. Until the angry acting manager came along. Barring us throughout Newark stores, and referring to us as Mocha/Skinny couple.... of which I have photo proof Well I am dark skinned and my husband sadly is skinny through a wasting disease.!!!! No point going to the divisional as was informed by a reliable source that I would have to email her, and she would in turn tell me I was barred. Without the truth being brought out in the open. We feel very strongly about this matter, because of the actions and things your acting manager said, even after we left Costa. I also do not appreciate on the group chats that he accused us of being belligerent to him and our customers. I was approached by a customer to say they had heard his behaviour towards me.. Thanks I made a few references to this individual, and it is what the staff dare not say to him, in case of reprisals . Penelope Walker”

“Outrageous pricing £3.70 for a regular coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can buy a jar for that. That's a customer lost.!!!! Cannot recommend to anyone.”

“It is unacceptable that emotes at Costa are not allowed NOT to put lids on hot drinks for 'health and safety' reasons. Have you any idea what the long term consequences to health are by the constant use of plastic just to protect us walk a few feet to a table in a Costa shop?. If you have 2,500 outlets in the UK and serve 100 drinks a day that's 1/4 million lids a day just to take a drink to a table. CRIMINAL!!!”

“Ordered a Americano with milk. No milk when got to my table as l was waiting a while for a warm sandwich, went back to add milk as it was left on side and the male member of staff was rather rude to me in front of other customers. Prior to that he moved my tray and spilt the americano all over saucer. This was Anlaby Hull. What a shame as the lady who served me was really nice and friendly. Annelle on receipt.”

“Costa Coffee at Pallion Sunderland . The shop was not that busy. Counter service was quick and efficient . My main reason for giving this shop one star is because there were too many tables requiring to be cleared of dirty crockery and hygienically wiped over. As we left the shop there were only 2 tables occupied md no-one awaiting service at the counter or in the drive through but 6 tables requiring clearing and wiping over . At this point of time 3 members of staff were seen to be in attendance . Must do better !!!!”

“Was waiting with family for a table, and when finally got one, a worker came along and forced us to give up our table to someone else or leave so we left and said if you want our table would you want our drinks too. I know where to spend my money from now on. Not costa at galleries.”

“I had a free drink offer for £2 ,but none of the drinks you offer are this price the member if staff made a mistake on the till and I lost my reward even though it was un spend able any how .”

“Costa Coffee in Alton. Hampshire. Popped in earlier this week and a absolute disgrace. Really tatty soft chairs all dirty and with stuffing poking out a lot on arms. Gone down hill big time since Esquire opened opposite 4 months ago. Toilets dirty as usual and dirty crocks laying around. Doubt I will go there on my next visit as hygiene disgusting it really is. Only took 1 photo will try and show !!”

“As a regular customer of Costa canvey island retail park we came to the shop last week and was told paper cups only as the dishwasher was broken thats fine but more than a week on still using paper cups but the dishwasher is now up and running glass cups all on top of coffee machine manager will not let anyone have a glass other staff told us it is working we all pay over the top for this service but are expected to pay the same price for a paper cup what I don't get is that when the dishwasher was broken you still gave plates with food and cutlery so how were those being cleaned not impressed at all”

“We used Costa coffee in faro airport on Saturday 24th February. The cup was only half full and very weak. We complained to the staff to no avail. We have since complained by email to the company, who said they were sorry. That's the level of the company care you can expect”

“My visit on Thurs 25/1/2024 to Havant branch inside big store, at 4:15pm - the queue was long about 6 people in front of me and store was full - 3 staff only one making coffee another running round the back out of sight a lot the other was counting tea bags and doing a stock take- took 15 minutes to get served - I thought you should know this - quite a stupid use of staff - surely stock take is done when closed or nearer closing time not at the expense of queuing customers? I only popped in for 2 quick espresso to take away, but turned into a major visit - unhappy as nobody apologised for the delay, it was uncaring of the customer and focused on the staff needs far above -”

“Used Costa in next Hedge end Hampshire, ask for 3 cappuccinos cups not put on saucers but when I got to table 2 hardly had froth on them and the 3 was like a flat white with chocolate on top, I'm a regular user of Costa but this was definitely the worst visit ever, queue was to long for me to stand in to complain at the time of being there”

“Toilets blocked all empty tables not cleaned, place in Waterford Cork Road near homestore or more is filthy. Staff were made aware but just ignored it. Will not call again :(”
