“Horrible customer service from a woman called Ivy watched 5 people who ordered after me get served then asked where my drink was because I was waiting for 15 minutes and responded by silently and sarcastically pointing at the blender and dirty looking me when I responded annoyedly she started trying to argue back. I also asked for no cream and they served my drink with cream.”
“Went into my sisters local Costa in Glasgow Sauchiehall Street and was very disappointed with the food that I ordered. When I was collecting my hot chocolate drink from the counter I noticed that the glass was cold! I said to the person that made it that the glas was cold and she replied that it was it would be hot as it's just the glass that was cold. So went over to my table to star eating what I had got and went to drink my HOT drink, it was frigging stone cold! Couldn't be bothered going back up to the counter with it as I didn't like the attitude from her previously. I know this can be a busy shop at times, but she should have a least checked the glass to see how cold it really was! I think she needs to learn about temperatures of serving hot drinks.”
“Queued for 15 mins in Costa at Next in kingswood Hull yesterday for what turned out to be a very poor quality flat white with a white blob flourish of milk. Given the price and supposed qualty ethos of the company I am surprised just how appalling it was. I can get much better coffee in the local supermarkets and I might add at half the price. I sort of expect this mediocre product from your multitude of vending machines in garages, motorway services and train stations, but from a "Barista" service area. It has put me off ever going to a Costa again. There are better options on the high street”
“We visited Costa in Drake Circus. Right opposite Startbucks. So you'd think the competitiveness the do better wouldn't be better right. Wrong. We sat on outside table. The table was filthy with the previous coffee drinkers mess. As was the other tables. Now, the place wasn't full. Maybe 50% tops. Saturday morning about 10.30. Eventually my wife ventured inside to ask for something to clean the table herself. And instead of appologising, and coming out to clean the tables, she indeed handed my wife a cloth to clean the table herself. Astonishingly badly managed. But still, no one came out. A woman in a wheel chair then stopped at another table. And yes, still not cleaned. My wife went back in and again was given a cloth to go out and she cleaned this woman's table. Costa, get your game face on, and get your sh#t together. Next time I'll be going to Starbucks.”
“Costa coffee on the A10 retail in Enfield I visited today. The cutlery and coffee cups was filthy. I had no choice but use take away cups. Toilets was very dirty too.”
“I ordered a hot chocolate from Costa about an hour ago and when i received my drink it was only half filled with hot chocolate and the other half was froth. Honestly i used to be a regular customer but it seems that the quality has been getting steadily worse. The food is dry and you pay double for the drinks you ordered.”

“Barista ruined my costa experience. I'm a mum on maternity leave and hardly go out due lack of time. I decided to take my baby and enjoy my costa this morning. While I was placing quite large order, was served by a man, a woman called Lisa Marie came up to him and started rushing me. I didn't enjoy my drink at all and won't be coming to costa in Great Linford, Milton Keynes for sure! She was also very loud, too bossy towards that guy, such poor customer service skills Lisa Marie! “My son who has autism attended the store and ordered two coffees wrong. When I entered the store and tried to explain the situation and asked for a exchange I was then met with a very rude lady who was very keen on telling me that āshe has been working since this morning, doesnāt get orders wrong and doesnāt care about my son having autismā I then explained (politely) that I would only like an exchange which then led her to raising her voice at me and pointing her finger in my face. I asked to speak to the manager and of course she was the manager.
Iāve left the coffee shop with a terrible experience and if the manager ever reads this I would of happily paid for the coffees I wanted. You didnāt have to go about making a scene and making my son and I feel so embarrassed.”
“This was our first visit to this Costa. The order was wrong, we had extras in a soya latte we didnāt want and could be against my dietary requirements. This is the worst customer service we have had even compared to London and Manchester. When my husband asked for the correct order he was told he had been grumpy because he pdidnāt say good morning. He did ask for the order and said please. The member of staff was red faced and over aggressive in talking. I challenged her attitude as over assertive and said she looked stressed. She swore at me. When I suggested she calm down. We asked for a full refund and didnāt get it. The other staff were laid back and not supportive of their colleague. An exceptional experience for the wrong reasons.”
“Iām a regular customer and I have seen something that I did not like at all. The blonde lady Monica was asking the clients to make good reviews just for her. And I think this isnāt fair on the rest of the team as they are all hardworking and nice.”
“Very bad service im waiting since morning for my table to be cleaned in dxb airport terminal 1 but 1 employee hen name is jen she asked me to wait for her until she finishes cash for client . I waited her 35 min she finished everything and disinfected cleaned my table and all the 35 min i was standing up waiting for her but she was screaming on me sayin they are only 2 and she doesnāt have time to clean my table. She said change your table if you donāt like or take towel from the kitchen and go clean it by yourself . She is very unprofessional and rude . She was screaming in a very loud voice and im a manager in the airport. What she did is very unprofessional and itself not acceptable. Always the staff here laugh together and talk loudly and they make very noisy voices where we canāt focus on our meetings.”
