“Just had long grey cardigan delivered (in sale). Very cosy & warm - excellent quality as usual and never had a bad item from cotton gold customer. In difficult covid times they delivered - very thankful in this cold snowy weather 🤗”
“Gold card received today. As usual items required weren't in stock. Wish you would stop sending me useless catalogues. Stopped using cotton traders a year ago because of nil stocks but thought I would try again. What a joke.should be nil stars .”
“Have been with CT for many years. Quality of Rugby Shirt bought recently (Recd 29/12/20) is significantly lighter and poorer quality cotton than usual. I did have one years ago that only lasted a few months before loosing shape and I'm wondering as to whether these "Sale" goods are made to a price especially for "The Sale." Won't buy anything online again as I once bought two fleeces both sized 3XL and both were completely and hugely different sizes. That experience cost me £10 and I gained nothing! Come on CT play the game. You have a good market but are seriously eroding trust!”
“Purchase delivered quickly. Exactly as advertised. Was looking for a pair of fleeced lined waterproof pants for golf and walking for weeks. Found the perfect pair on cotton traders website. And a very good price and perfect fit.”
“My mum as the cotton trader books and finds the clothes very comfortable, she also likes having them delivered to the door as not a shop by where she lives.I also have clothes and find them good quality.I would definitely recommend them.”
“Too complicated to remember password , telephone no went elsewhere, I really liked the trousers but gave up . I am used to buying online and even though I am 82 have never been so frustrated and disappointed...I eventually gave up,🤬”
“I bought a pair of walking shoes that have collapsed under the heel, hardly used. Rang up to see if I could replace them, they did not want to know. The shoes are not fit for purpose”
“In all the years I have been shopping with Cotton Traders I have only needed to contact Customer Service twice and both times the service was excellent.
No hassle,no problems just good, quick, fair service.
Many thanks.”
“Charged £6. 95 for the pleasure of delivering and returning an item that didn’t fit. 7p a minute to call customer service to complain. Absolutely ripoff . Never again, avoid at all cost !!!!!! Much better companies out there that want customers to return but certainly not cotton traders!!!!”
“I have quite a few things from Cotton Traders never disappointed trainers and tops and my hubby as well no complaints at all would recommend them hilda”
“Bought 2 heavy outside cardigans. 5 buttons.on each cardigan.
ALL 10 FELL OFF
On complaining this company was extremely useless. Told me to send back,at MY EXPENSE
Avoid... customer service non existent”
“The worst retail experience ever! Ordered several tee shirts for my husbands birthday back in early July. He usually has M&S but I thought I'd try Cotton Traders as I had been told they were pretty good. What a mistake! Lost parcels, promises of replacements to be sent that never appeared and endless, endless phone calls. in the end i tried their complaints department and even they take 3 days to reply to each response! In the end I even asked for some form of compensation in recognition of all the time and money I have spent trying to chase them, then, after 7 weeks I came home to an answer phone message politely informing me that they could no longer supply large black tee shirts for men... (good luck if you are awaiting anything more complicated than that!) and will need to credit my account. That's it, not even a £10 voucher as a good will gesture... I worked in retail for over twenty years and never experienced so many empty promises. The gentleman on the answer phone ended the message by asking that if the first order SHOULD ever find its way to me, that he would be grateful if I would I be kind enough to let them know so that they might debit my account on delivery! Honestly, and they call this service... Good or bad, I've never felt the need to post a review before, but in this case I thought I'd make the exception and having done so I'm now off to Marks and Spencer's!”
“Placed an order online on April 30 and received emails for order confirmation and then stating that the order was on its way. On May 27 I received an email stating 'sorry, sometimes things just don't quite work out' with no other explanation and stating that I would receive a refund. However, my card was charged $70.45 for the purchase but the refund given was $60.50. Did they charge for the emails???”
“I ordered men's work pants before the covid shutdown. They were sized like womens with a very short zipper, unable to be worn by men. I returned them on March 16th. I have a receipt that confirms they rec'd the pants and a refund would be sent soon. I am owed $58.50 and have not seen $1. I will never be ordering from this company again and I warn you not to.”
“Website needed too many details date birth when not asking for credit
Phoned through staff unhelpful listed to covid advise after being switched to voicemail whilst in middle of an order
Rang back and gave up will send my money elsewhere”
