“Hi, wanted to send praise for a young man named Jamie on the Customer Service team. Spoke to Jamie on 6/11/19 between 10 and 10.15 a.m he was so polite and patient listening to me moan about a previous employee I had spoken to on 5/11/19, who did not keep their promise. Was very disappointed with this lady and vowed never to buy anything else from you again.
I decided to try again, and got through to Jamie who was calm and listened to me, he apologised and said he would speak to his supervisor to see what could be done, came back on line and again apologised this time for keeping me waiting. Was so impressed with his professionalism and the way he handled my complaint. Cannot praise him enough, and wish him all the best for the future, feel he can go a long way. Oh yes, Jamie delivered his promise and put my order right.

“What a shower this lot have turned into. I have bought many things from them in the past but am gobsmacked by my latest experience. I placed an order yesterday asking for delivery in 5 days time and upon checking my e mail confirmation I realised it was going to be shipped to a previous address (my fault). I rung to change the delivery address and was told they couldn't do it even though the item had not left the warehouse. Their answer was that it would have to be delivered rejected returned to the warehouse and eventually I would get a credit. I asked to cancel and they said I couldn't. I don't think they have heard of the consumer credit act. I would be very weary about buying from this company at the moment.”
“I have shopped with Cotton traders for years, no problems until I tried
to return goods this time. Suffice to say I still have the goods and Hermes
have two lots of 2.95 for NOT collecting goods. Cotton traders say not
their problem. Well they choose to use Hermes as their carrier so it should be their problem. After so many years I doubt I will use them again. Customer diservice rules apparently”
“Tried to order an item on web page and got stuck on 'order and review' - tried THREE times from scratch and this happened. I then tried to order item by telephone and but they said they couldn't arrange Hermes deliveryshop option over the phone! Spent the best part of 30 minutes doing all this. Complete waste of time.”
“I ordered two pairs of jeans they were too small so sent back and charged £2:95 for the pleasure of trying something on then if I re ordered I would also be charged a fee of £3:99 for delivery.
Also I now have to wait 7 to 10 days for my refund, But they took my payment quickly enough but I have to wait to be reimbursed, COTTON RIP OFF MERCHANTS I will not be back thats a certainty there are plenty of companies who appreciate your custom out there try them.”

“I ordered a top for my son in law. I saw that there was 20 % off and free delivery. I did not see ( in teeny writing) that this was for orders over £35. Throughout the checkout process the website showed that the discount code was applied. After paying I realised it wasn't. I rang the customer service dept straightaway at 7 pm and was told to ring back in a couple of hours , to give my order chance to come on the system. When I asked what time they closed they said 8 pm! So I rang back at 7.50 and got a message saying there were technical problems that the engineers were trying to fix and to try again another time. So, I sent an email and got an answer back saying that I needed to spend over £35. So, I sent an email asking for my money back and to cancel my order as I found their website misleading. I got another emails saying sorry, this couldn't be done and they hope I will be happy with my purchase when I get it. Phew! This has become a chore...terrible customer service . I made a mistake by not noticing the £35 rule but they do not care. Take the money and run is their philosophy. I have shopped on line but more often in their local shop. I will never buy anything from them again.”
