DO NOT RELY YOUR BUSINESS ON ETSY Not a reliable platform for sellers AT ALL. They have repeatedly suspended accounts with NO communication highlighting the reasons. We have to raise a couple of cases but every single one remained unresponsive and marked completed after 10 days. Yet, no response received from them. We tried to call them but not successful. It is so shocking that they have withdrawn the amount for listing the products when the account is suspended and no one responds. It would be good to know at least the reason as to WHY? I read people's account suspended after 13 years of selling and no reason. This is ridiculous. Watch your self as to where you are spending your limited resource. All your efforts may disappear and no reason.

S from Etsy's Marketplace Integrity team abuse and threaten small/newer seller. He suspend my shop and threaten me do not open any new accounts at Etsy, they will be closed immediately and without notice! This is very hurtful! If I have different hobbies and loves brings things to people, he himself closed the whole Etsy door to me completely! He did not listen or read any of my explains, not patient! Not nice at all! Compared to Amazon customer service, Etsy should not have someone like him as an employee. Etsy is a platform between buyer and seller, not GOD to decide the death or life! He is overpowered! If seller needs edits or amendments, it's should be doable! Not just closed without a word! Or not just shut him off forever! Who gave him a right like a GOD? You say I did not make the products myself, but I designed it most of them. Handmade is handmade! It's not means just leave there then machine finished all! And also on ETSY at least 50% did not make or design themselves. They are selling thousands of them, made a fortune by years. Where is your eyes? How you did not see it? He doesn't have any knowledge about production! In his knowledge, all the handmade masks is just produced at kitchen by housewives. Not knowing products need to be better quality, nicer and more reasonable price with time going on! He doesn't know anything, but just want to use his "Right" to act like a GOD at Etsy!

Horrible product do not buy! We bought masks from this place and was all in pieces with glue spots. We were like who is allowed to sell this junk. We just tossed the masks and will never buy from this company again...SAD

I had been a 5 star seller since 2011, but when covid-19 hit in January, no one knew it would affect sales. In February I started getting complaints about late shipments, and frantically searched to find out why they were late. It was confirmed that it was due to covid quarantines, and I wrote to all of my customers informing them of the situation, and asked Etsy if there was anything further I should do. Their response? They suspended my account, kept my last paycheck and gave customers (with their purchases still on the way to them) their money back out of my account. They wouldn’t even let me discuss it with them - just sent a form letter stating that I could petition to unsuspend my account in 2 weeks to give me time to think about what I had done wrong. All my customers were concerned about their orders, and it made ME appear unstable as a seller. Petition to unsuspend? Not on your life. I have a relationship with my customers - I wouldn’t do this to them again. They can find me on my website. What Etsy did was not right. It was unethical, and they should have been there to help a small business through this pandemic - but instead, they showed their true colors.

This is among some of the worst service I have ever experienced I ordered a product on April 11. I waited a whole month for the item to arrive. The seller then contacted me and Appologized because Etsy had closed down their account So here is where it gets really stupid. You can't just contact someone and get your money back even though only they have access. No. You have to open a case file. Then you have to wait 3 days. Then you have to escalate it if nothing is done. 7 days later after escalating my case Etsy hasn't done anything to help me or contact me. They are prob hoping I'll go away. I'm NOT going away and if I don't hear from them by June they a will be hearing from me a ton more. My advice to anyone thinking of using their services is unless they prove to me otherwise don't waste your valuable money and time as you may not get either back.

I recently listed a couple of my items on Etsy but they deactivated my account without properly explaining me the reason, sent me scary emails that they will submit me to the collection agencies if they are willing to, and have frozen my $50 dollars for 6 months which I earned by selling 4 items. They customer service demonstrates absolute disrespect and harassment, and don't even think that their actions are legal they just took my money and do not want to pay me back. Distasting customer service, they don't even have telephone number to explain all details, and unreliable selling platform. Regards, Paul.

In order a mothers day present for my wife three weeks before mothers day and still have not received as of today 5/14. I was contacted by the seller explaining that it wouldn't be shipped until 5/6 - 5/12 after I paid for it. I contacted her today about my package and she said it hasn't shipped and had the audacity to ask me to pay her more money so she can send it out with tracking. I'm glad I had this experience because I was willing to spend thousands of dollars on decour for my home we just built. RUN, not walk away from this company!

Etsy closed my shop, and the same time charged a bill. Why I have to pay commission for listing, when my shop was immediately closed. I am outraged!

I recently created a new shop. Didn't even get the chance to post a listing and my account was suddenly suspended for no reason, with no notification. Since I am starting a business, this is a crucial time as time equals money. With the account suspended, I cannot do a thing. I emailed Etsy support and it has been a week, with no response from them. Today I just noticed that the bank account I linked to Etsy for deposit had a few unauthorized transactions. I created this bank account for business purposes, and have yet to use it. I only used it with Etsy so far, so it makes sense to conclude that Etsy or someone from Etsy used my bank account to make unauthorized transactions. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I am not using Etsy ever again, for anything.

I have tried and tried to cancel an expensive gold initial chain and monogrammed tumbler. There is no way to contact them. Have texted and texted to terminate two orders as the were, by accident, double purchases. They did contact me to verify duplicate orders however, cannot reach anyone by text nor is there a customer service rep on staff. Absolutely, the worst company and customer service. If you are smart and don’t want to be Scammed and/or pull your hair out.....DO NOT do business with Etsy.

Sellers not meeting their posted processing and shipping times is UNACCEPTABLE! How is it that I make a purchase on the 20th with priority shipping and it's now the 1st and I still do not have my purchase in my possession. Not only that but, the seller 1st stated they shipped the item in the 27th and then in a different message said that it was shipped on the 28th. The seller finally provided me with a tracking number and it states that only a label has been created on the 29th and USPS is awaiting item. Horrible Seller!

I purchased mugs from a seller that says he's located in the US. When the mugs didn't arrive on time, I spoke to the seller and I found out they are based in China. After insisting on cancelling the order, finally the seller agreed. Etsy refused to process the refund back to my PayPal account, claiming that my account is closed or that they received an error message. PayPal told me that no refund was attempted from Etsy and it couldn't be that difficult to reverse a charge if they wanted to. I would never buy anything thru Etsy again.

Know this before you purchase anything on Etsy. Etsy looks out for their vendors more than the customers who purchase items on Etsy. Why? Because if Etsy holds vendors responsible, then Etsy loses money. What do I mean by this? Case and point. I placed an order on April 4th. Days went by, vendor would not respond to my emails on when the item would ship. I even told them to cancel the order and refund me. No answer. I filed grievance with Etsy. Heard nothing from Etsy and when I tried to go back in to complain again and contact Etsy again, their automated response is, "It appears you've reported this order for review through your bank or credit card company. We'll work with them directly to resolve this matter, and be in touch via email in the event we need more information from you. This order is no longer eligible for a case." So, there you have it. You can not speak with Etsy again and you don't hear from them. Etsy washes their hands from customers complaints and holds scammer vendors on a pedestal because that brings in revenue. I still have not received my order and tomorrow is May 1st. Etsy, CEO Josh Silverman, you don't know how to run a company. Its run a muck!

Do not order plants from ESTY.com Their customer care system is not quick responsive. I bought plants through them on March 11th by the time they shipped it was April 24th. The are an intermediary who do not care. Better to go Amazon or someone else. Wasted my money

This is one of the worst places to buy genuine product they make it seem like the product there saling but it’s not I’ve been scammed by this company twice and never again if you order something read and research what there saling if not you will be writing about them just like me Scam Scam Scam
